Falling for My Boss

Chapter Twelve

I must be a good actress. I was able to smile and laugh and flirt with Scott all of Friday night and the day of the office party.

“That’s a sexy dress,” Scott said as he picked me up and met me at my door.

“Too sexy for an office party?” I asked with a flirtatious smile.

“Never.” He grinned. “Maybe too sexy to wear to a dinner with my family, but to an office party, no.”

“Dinner with your family?” I asked curiously.

“I want you to come over. Meet Liv and Aiden, Alice, Xander – that’s Liv’s boyfriend, Chett, and maybe Gabby.”

“Oh,” I said surprised.

“Unless it’s too soon.” He made a face at me. “Sorry. I’m not good with this stuff. I don’t know if it’s too soon.”

“No, it’s fine.” I said with a tight smile. I didn’t understand Scott or men. Maybe I would never understand them. Why would he want to introduce me to his family when he was playing me? Had Helen met everyone? Was that why she was so crazy now? Had he made her feel like he loved her and then started treating her like crap?

“Hey, no need to be upset,” Scott laughed. “I’m not trying to rush anything here. We can go slow.”

“Yeah, I know,” I said with a smile as we got into his car.

“Are you excited for the party today?” Scott changed the subject as he started the car.

“Yeah, I’m really excited,” I said. “It’s going to be really fun.”

“I think so too.” He grinned. “We can dance and eat and then maybe tonight we can go to a movie.”

“Yeah. All of that sounds good,” I said as I looked out the window. “Especially the dancing.”

“Good. I have to tell you that I’m not the best dancer, but I do give it a try.”

“Oh that’s fine,” I said softly. “I’ll be the one leading the way,” I said under my breath and smiled to myself. I was going to give him the dance of his life.

“Let’s sit in this corner,” I said and led him to a dark corner in the side of the room.

“You want to sit?” He looked surprised. “I thought you wanted to dance?”

“Yeah, I do,” I said and leaned over and whispered in his ear. “I want to give you a private dance.”

“A private dance?” His eyes lit up. “What does that mean?”

“It means that I’m wearing a dress and no panties.” I winked at him.

“Then dance away.” He grinned and I shook my head and laughed. He was so innocent. He had no idea what was about to happen. I smiled to myself, but inside I felt sad. I was sad that he wasn’t a genuine person. Even though I knew he was a liar, I still liked him. That made me angry at myself. I still wanted to give him a second chance. Just like I’d done for my dad. I’d always made excuses for him. Every time he’d said he was going to show up and take me to dinner, I’d said okay. I’d really thought, This time it’s going to happen. This time he seems genuine. He wants to see me. I’m his daughter. Why would he lie to me? He loves me, right? And then I’d sit in the living room waiting all day, staring out of the window, waiting for him to show up, waiting until it was dark outside and I had to go to bed. And he never came. And each time that happened, I lost a small piece of my heart and soul to disappointment and heartache. I didn’t understand how some people could lie so easily, and carelessly, without even given a thought to the other person. My dad hadn’t cared that he’d let me down. And now, now Scott didn’t care that he was playing me. Drawing me close to him, telling me about his family, inviting me to dinner, acting as if he liked me and could see a real future for us. How could he play with my feelings like that when he knew that he still had something going on with Helen?

I turned to him then, looked at his handsome face, his expectant boyish grin, his big blue eager eyes, and a part of me broke. I leaned forward and kissed him hard. I kissed him for every part of me that really liked every part of him, and then I stepped back. I couldn’t allow myself to think about what I liked about him or fall into the trap of his soul. I pushed him down on the chair and started moving in time to the music.

“This is so hot.” He laughed as his hands slid up under my dress to touch my ass.

“No touching,” I said and kissed the side of his cheek. I reached down and grabbed my handbag and pulled out the handcuffs I had in there and quickly tied his arms to the chair.

“Handcuffs huh?” He raised an eyebrow and shifted in the chair. “I knew you were kinky.”

“Yup,” I said and shifted on his lap, so that his hardness was right between my legs. I moved back and forth on his lap and he groaned as he sat there. His eyes turned dark with desire and he grunted.

“This is so hot, but I’m scared someone is going to see us.” He laughed and looked out at the party.

“Do you care?” I said and I kissed him before he could answer. I jumped up, turned around, and sat back down on his lap, rubbing my ass against his crotch and grinding until I thought he was as hard as could be. I was turning both of us on at the same time and I was having a hard time staying focused.

I reached down and massaged his hardness through his pants before pulling it out.

“Elizabeth?” Scott said with wild eyes. “What are you doing?”
