Easy For Keeps

“I guess it’s just a habit,” I reply, stunned that he’s paid this much attention.

“And when you get kissed, you melt. You are a puzzle of contradictions that have me very enamored, Sarah.” He picks up his drink and takes a sip, and all I can do is stare at his lips.

“I bet you say that to all the girls.” I chuckle and try to brush the compliment off, but he holds my gaze with his.

“No. I don’t.”

Thankfully our meal is delivered and we dig in. I moan in happiness when I taste my baby back ribs. “These are amazing.”

“Keep making noises like that,” he says as if he’s talking about the weather, “and I’ll take you home right now and give you a reason to make them.”

I blink at him and then feel my face flush bright red. Holy shit! I had no idea that people actually talked like that.

They certainly never have to me.

I cock an eyebrow and take another bite, close my eyes and sigh in happiness, then open them and grin when I see Adam’s fork is stopped halfway to his mouth and he’s glaring at me.

“Are you testing me?”

“No, I’m playing with you,” I reply with a laugh. “Loosen up. It’s just food.”

“And the sexiest woman I’ve seen in a long time eating it like she’s getting fucked,” he murmurs, just so I can hear him, and I gasp.

“I am not.”

He simply stares back at me with humor-filled eyes and continues to eat, and I follow suit.

Noises and all.

If I’m going to flirt, I’m going all in. No half-assed flirting from this girl.

When the meal is over and Adam has paid the check, he escorts me out into the warm Louisiana night, holding my hand.

“What now?” he asks gently.

“It’s beautiful out here,” I reply, not answering him. I don’t know how to answer him. I don’t think I can just say, take me home and fuck me.

“It’s a nice night,” he agrees. “I don’t want to take you home.”

“I don’t want to go home,” I reply honestly.

We stand next to his car for a few long moments, listening to the quiet night around us, the night birds and the crickets, and finally, he grabs my shoulders and turns me to him.

“Okay, I’m going to be honest here.”

“Great.”

“I’m so fucking attracted to you I can hardly breathe, Sarah. I know that’s not the sort of thing you say on a first date, but damn it, I can’t help it. I’ve been pulled to you since the day I saved you from your dead battery.”

I can’t find my tongue, but he doesn’t seem to notice. He just keeps talking.

“I want to take you home and strip the clothes off your sexy-as-fuck body and lose myself in you. I want to fuck you, over and over, until you can’t walk for a week, and then I want to fuck you some more.”

He’s panting now, his green eyes sparkling with lust in the moonlight, and I’m just floored. This amazing, sexy, funny man wants me.

And holy hell, I want him too.

“You want to f-fuck me?” I stammer.

“Repeatedly,” he confirms.

“O-okay,” I reply, pissed at myself for stuttering when I should be sexy and flirty, but I was not expecting these words from him.

I’ve been wet all night, from his touch, from his words, and now my whole body is on fire.

“How are you feeling?” he asks, watching me intently.

“Adam?”

“Yes.”

“Take me home and fuck me until I can’t walk.”

A smile spreads over his face as he leans in to grab my ass in his hands and kiss my cheek, my neck, my lips.

“My fucking pleasure, sweetheart.”

Chapter Five

~Adam~

God, I want her. I can’t get the key into the doorknob because my hands are shaking from the utter lust running through me.

I would have fucked her in my car, but that’s not where I want to take her for the first time.

Maybe next time.

Just when I’m on the verge of busting my own door down, I get it open, usher Sarah inside, and simply drop my keys to the floor, pin her against the closed door, and bury my face in her neck, breathing her in.

She plants her hands on my sides and fists my shirt.

“You smell so damn good,” I mutter and kiss the soft flesh of her neck. She’s pulled my shirt out of my pants and her hands are on my skin, and it’s pure heaven.

“Adam,” she whispers.

“Yes, sweetheart.”

“I’m going to need you to get naked now.”

I chuckle, delighted in her. I get the feeling that she hasn’t been with anyone in a while, but she’s not shy about what she wants, and that’s as much a turn on as her curvy body.

“I’m going to kiss every inch of you,” I say softly. My breath catches when she drags her hands down my sides and over my stomach. It’s a wonder I haven’t busted out of my jeans.

“I want a turn too,” she says, and that’s it. I need her. Need her. Now.

I push off the door and take her hand, leading her to my bedroom. When I turn to pull her to me, she rushes to me, and her hands immediately go for my jeans.

She’s in a hurry. When I glance down, her fingers are shaking, and she won’t look up at me.

She’s nervous.

We can’t have that.

“Sweetheart.” I catch her chin with my finger and tip her face up to look at me. “Sarah, this isn’t a race.”

“Seriously, get naked, and we can get to it.”
