CHAPTER SEVEN
“They gave us some experimental gene therapy and rounds of drugs plus intense training. We learned to use a portion of our brain that’s dormant in ninety-nine point nine percent of the population,” Peter said.
“We were their prodigies. Their test cases. They’d seen it before with identical twins, but never with unrelated men. After our success, they looked for other sets. You met some of those men last night.” Mike sipped his coffee.
“Your little brother?” she asked, incredulous.
“Yeah, Jay was invited into the program, along with his best friend, Zach. They’re as good as me and Pete, if not better.” Brotherly pride filled his voice as he grinned.
“So, you’re saying, because of this training and the drugs and all—you’re…joined?”
“Oh, yeah,” Mike purred. “I may not have been there physically, but I had a great time with you last night, Lilly, through Pete’s eyes. Next time, I want to be licking your tits while Pete goes down on you.”
She sucked in a breath as her tummy turned to fire. She read knowledge in his eyes. Knowledge and a passion to equal Peter’s.
“We’re always going to live together,” Peter said, moving closer and taking her free hand. Mike still held the other one. “We’re so much alike, we were both drawn to you. We both want you.”
“We’ve wanted you since the moment we met you, but we decided to take it slow and make you our friend first, to see if you could deal with all this.” Mike squeezed her hand gently. “Then we got orders and we both kicked ourselves for three months because we hadn’t staked our claim. I don’t know what we’d have done if we came back to find you involved with some yoyo.”
“The big question is,” Peter reclaimed her attention. “Do you want us now that you know we come as a set and always will?”
Did she? Of course, she wanted them! She’d been dreaming about both of them for half a year. But, the question was, could she?
It wasn’t exactly the norm to have sex with two guys on a permanent basis and what they were proposing sounded awfully permanent.
“How would this work? I mean, would I be dating you both?”
Mike smiled at her. “Forget dating. How about living with us? We’re crazy about you, honey. That’s not going to change any time soon. In fact,” he looked over at Peter.
In unison, both men dropped to their knees on either side of her. “Will you marry us?”
That startled a nervous laugh out of her before she could stop it, but luckily they both understood. They chuckled with her and squeezed her fingers.
“I don’t know what to say.”
“That’s okay.” Mike rose and kissed her knuckles, pulling her to her feet a moment later. “We know we’re rushing things. And we know you could really only marry one of us. We’ll fight that out later. For now, we want to make love to you, honey.”
She gasped as Mike pulled her into his arms and Peter came up behind her, his warm chest against her back as his hands delved between her legs.
“We want to show you what it will be like,” Peter whispered in her ear, nibbling on her sensitive lobe. “Let us, Lil. We want you so much.”
All three of them were breathing hard as Mike claimed her lips with his. It felt like her muscles had turned to jelly and fire was licking along her veins. Everywhere their hands touched, goose bumps erupted on her skin. Four hands, two hungry mouths and two warriors sharing one mind was almost more than she could handle.
Peter’s hands snaked down between her thighs, urging her to widen her stance, while Mike raised the hem of her borrowed T-shirt. Peter stepped out from behind her and Mike lifted her, his hands molding her ass as he placed her on the kitchen table. It was a coordinated movement, done without a spoken word passing between the men. She began to believe that they could read each other’s minds.

She realized with some surprise that the luxurious room she’d been in the night before was small in comparison to the master bedroom. The furnishings were plainer but the bed was much larger and the peek she had inside the master bath as they passed the open door made her long to explore the huge bath tub at some point. But that would wait until later. She had much more important things—and two hunky men—to do now. She almost giggled at the scandalous thought.
