Two months later
“McKenna? I’m home.” Tag placed his laptop on the kitchen table, removing his suit jacket and loosening his tie. “Where are you?” he called out when she didn’t answer.
“In here!”

Tag opened his eyes, peering up at her. “Really?”
McKenna nodded. “Yes. Since you’re cooking and because I’m eating for two. Wouldn’t be fair to make us live on frozen pizza, now would it?”
