Bossy Billionaire: A Billionaire Boss Romance by Angela Blake (3)

Chapter Five

The rest of the hour felt like a lifetime for Alexa. Although she still buzzed around the office carrying documents and filing schedules the only thing stuck in her mind was Gary’s sinister plan for her. It was like one of those novels she read except this time it was for real.

It couldn’t be that bad. He did promise he wouldn’t stick his dick into her no matter what and it was only going to be for ten minutes. All she had to do was hold on and not let herself lose control. If she reached her orgasm then he would win.

When she thought about it she realized there wasn’t really any victory for her. If she cummed then she’d feel pleasure but then she’d have go with him again the very next day. If she didn’t cum then she’d feel a little empty inside and might beg him for more, which would mean she’d have to go with him for the entire week. During that period she could very well lose all control.

It was a dangerous little game but the thrill made her smile. She could feel the knot forming in her guts and it was her instinct telling her that this was a leap of faith so big it might change the direction of her entire life.

“Fuck it,” she kept on telling herself as she tried to finish the rest of the work hour.

When work was done and she was ready to go, she found Gary was already waiting for her outside the office lobby. She knew he was waiting for her but she didn’t exactly want her officemates to see her casually walking up to him and joining him in the elevator to the parking lot. Gossip can fly quickly in their environment.

Gary didn’t care. He waved at her, with his hand up in the air, like they were best friends. Alexa tried to hide her blushing cheeks with her hair as she hurried down through the hall, past the office stalls and then went past him straight into the elevator. Gary chuckled and quickly joined her right before the doors were closing.

“Don’t do that,” she told him.

“Don’t do what?”

“Just be professional,” she scolded him but he only smiled back at her.

Gary didn’t say another word as they walked through the basement parking lot. She just kept on walking, a step or two behind him, as he led her to his car. Fortunately, no one else was in the parking lot to see her get into the passenger seat. The moment the door closed and she was in his vehicle without anyone taking notice, Alexa let out a loud sigh of relief.

“Does it matter?” he asked her right as he locked his seat belt in.

“Huh?”

“Does it matter whether they see you hanging out with me, riding in my car?”

Alexa looked at him and nodded, “Of course it does. I don’t want the whole office to think I’m just whoring myself out to the boss.”

“Well, you can’t really do that because it would require me to promise you some kind of promotion. When you’re already the assistant to the most powerful figure in the company other than its founder I don’t think you can climb any higher. Well, unless I die and you take my spot. If I do, please don’t get some idiot hunk to be your secretary.”

“I don’t know,” she teased, “I might want some muscle-bound moron walking beside me all day in the office. Maybe we can sneak in a quickie during our lunch break.”

Gary laughed and started to drive. For the majority of their time on the road, they mostly talked about work. It was all casual talk and the thoughts of what Gary had planned for her were receding into the back of her head.

“What kind of music do you like?” he asked her right as they passed the train station. They were nearing the executive corner of town.

She shrugged and answered, “Mostly stuff from the 1970s and 80s. Duran-Duran, Roxette, The Smiths.”

“I never figured you were into that stuff,” he commented. “I always thought you were into the new stuff.”

“I don’t even know who’s popular right now,” she explained as they began passing by large houses. She knew they were getting close to his place. “The classics are all I really need. I don’t mind the new songs, just so you know, I just don’t really take time to listen to the radio or look them up on YouTube or whatever. What about you? What are you into?”

He glimpsed at her quickly before turning his attention back to the road, “Me? I have a weird thing for orchestral music.”

“Beethoven?”

“No,” he replied as he took a right turn and started going up a hill. At this point there were very few houses but they were all large manors with even larger land surrounding them. “Movie soundtracks, video game orchestral pieces and things like that. They evoke some kind of story for me, in my head.”

Alexa loved that answer. She may not have known him for very long but his taste in music and his reasons behind it told her so much about his person in ways words could not really explain. It gave her a warm feeling inside and for a moment, ever so brief, she pictured going out with him on an actual date.

That feeling quickly eroded away when they drove into the driveway of a very large manor. Right as they parked in front of oak double doors an aged butler hurried to open the doors. The old man even took her hand and assisted as she stepped out of the car.

“Thomas, meet Alexa,” Gary quickly introduced. He then looked at her as they began walking up the stairs and into his home. “He’s been the family butler since I was young. You ever need anything and he’ll attend to it as soon as possible.”

“Good evening, ma’am,” Thomas greeted right as he opened the doors.

Alexa smiled back at him and tried to hide the anxiety consuming her.

Inside, the house looked like it was lost in time. She expected a modern house, something either so cozy or so cold and rigid but instead she found the décor more akin to that of a 19th century, Victorian era manor. It had a strange and unique elegance that made her feel like she was walking into a very delicate home.

“Wow,” was all she could muster as she stared at all the rare porcelain, the white oakwood furniture and the numerous glass displays. Gary did not seem to pay any heed to her awe as he continued to lead her through the halls. Thomas had split off from their path and she last saw him go towards what could have been the kitchens.

“How many people live here?” she asked Gary right as they started heading down a flight of stairs into the basement.

He looked back at her then answered, “One. Just me. Thomas and the others leave past eight o’clock. They have a separate building across the garden.”

Gary then paused as he reached the basement door. He then turned and faced Alexa, “You ready?”

“No,” she told him honestly. “But who the fuck cares, right? Let’s do it.”

His smile was ear to ear and without a word he opened the door.
