By the time I made it home that night, I was dead tired. I looked at my phone and sighed. I had to pick Lacie up for The Morning Show around six AM, which meant I was looking at about four and a half hours of sleep.

“I missed you last night,” Carter growled in my ear. “You should have stayed.”

“I don’t know, you could be playing with me.”

“You’re the boss,” Garrett replied. I saw a look pass between them, and my eyebrows shot up. I glanced at Lacie, who gave me a knowing look. Was something going on between Garrett and Morgan?
