This has been the most incredible year of my life, and for the first time ever I can say I’m truly happy. I came to LA in pursuit of a singing career and somewhere along the way realized my dreams had changed. I was offered the opportunity to record an album multiple times, but after spending time in Hawaii with Logan, everything changed. If I took a recording deal, that would mean tours and time away from Logan, and I can’t imagine my life without him.

As soon as we got back from Hawaii we told our friends of our engagement and we asked Jonah and Sadie if they would be mad if we married before them. Being the great friends they are, they had no problem with it.

We planned our wedding to be in the club the weekend before it reopened so we wouldn’t interfere with business. Mikey was Logan’s best man and Sadie was my maid of honor. We spent the day surrounded by great friends that we both consider our family. Mikey made a speech about saving Logan’s ass, and it was the hit of the night. Logan hired a wedding planner that had covered everything from decorations, to food and flowers, to making sure the club was cleaned up the day after the wedding. We danced, ate, and drank the night away. I even had a slow dance with Mikey without Logan losing it. We decided to hold off on a honeymoon since we had just gone on vacation. We needed to get Thrive back open, and we were going to have to finish the build on the new club and then start the hiring process.

The best wedding present ever was when the district attorney called us to let us know that both Billy and Troy pleaded guilty to attempted murder, arson, and bribery. They were going to jail for quite a while, and the DA promised to make sure that once they are released there will be a restraining order in place as part of their parole. Nick also pleaded guilty to accepting a bribe, but he only had to pay a fine and is on probation. He actually sent a letter to Logan and me apologizing for getting involved and explaining that he didn’t know they were planning to set off a bomb in the club. I’m not sure we believe him, but since it was a simple apology we just threw it out and forgot about it.

Sadie and Jonah got married a few months after us in a delightful ceremony. I was her matron of honor, and I wore the coral dress she wanted me to wear even though I wasn’t fond of it. Logan gave Jonah a huge bonus for helping him get the club up and running while we were in Hawaii, and he used the money to take Sadie there for their honeymoon. We talked to them about some of the great things we saw and did and showed them pictures we took. Logan even called the hotel and paid the upgrade fee for them to get the same room we did as a surprise. He’s a wonderful person with a kind heart, and every time he does something sweet like that I fall in love with him even more.

This summer we opened Club Heat, the latest strip club in LA, and it’s doing brisk business even though it has only been open a few months. I interviewed tons of choreographers looking for the perfect one to give our guests the best show possible. We wanted the show to be hot but have a classy feel to it as well, and it took a little while to find the right person. So far Clay is working out well. The funny thing about Clay is he’s gay, though somehow he manages to know what’s hot and classy with our female dancers. It’s beyond me how he does it, but I like that I don’t have to worry about him fooling around with my showgirls. I did tell him that if I caught him flirting with my husband even once he was out the door before he could spit out an apology. I winked and told him I was teasing him, but that part was only half true since I caught him checking out Logan’s ass a few times. I still chuckle about it when I think about his reaction. I know it’s probably mean but hey whatever, it worked and he’s no longer looking at Logan’s ass.

Picking dancers and staff we could trust was probably the hardest part of opening the club. We held two days of initial auditions and then narrowed it down and held one more round before we chose what we needed. It was impressive to see the looks on Logan, Mikey, Jonah, and Shane’s faces when I asked them to sit in with me and rate the girls. They were surprised but tried to play it cool, and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one to have kick ass sex those three nights. Those boys were so worked up watching the girls dance I think they all ran home to fuck their girlfriends or wives. All but us, of course. Logan took me into our soundproof office where he fucked me twice; once bent over his desk, and I rode him once while he sat in his office chair. I think the only male not affected by the auditions was Clay. He sat there like he was bored, but since he has to work with them he needs to be equally as happy with who we pick.

I’m quite confident that day led to me being pregnant, though how I don’t know. I never stopped taking the pill, and we have been having sex for almost a year and a half with no other protection. Apparently it was my time, because now I walk around the strip club with a small belly that’s starting to show. Although I’m so glad I didn’t get morning sickness, I’m tired as hell and I’m only four months in. I have no idea how I’m going survive the rest of this pregnancy.

Logan is ecstatic about the baby and can’t wait for it to be born. He has been handling me with kid gloves. I have to keep reminding him I’m not going to break. At this point I just want to find out the sex. I need to start planning. We’re going to turn the second bedroom upstairs into a nursery, and I want to know if I’m painting it pink or blue.

The best part of being pregnant right now is Sadie is pregnant too, so we’ll have our babies about the same time and they’ll grow up to be best friends, like their parents. She’s having a girl, and I kind of hope I do too, although I’ll be happy to have a healthy baby. I thank her all the time for pulling me out of the house that night, and of course she eats it up. She knows if it wasn’t for her I may not have met Logan, and although my dreams have changed since that night, they may never have become a reality.
