Demon Slain (The Demon Queen Book 2) by Jewel Killian (26)

CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Freshly scrubbed and power humming in my veins, I magicked away the dampness on my hair and skin, and tumbled into bed with my realm leaders. I also magicked off all their clothes.

“Someone’s impatient,” Verrill smirked as he closed the distance between our lips. I shuddered into his kiss, body racked with pleasure so intense it overwhelmed me, his amber scent dizzying and delightful. He pulled away and another’s lips met mine. Whiskey and fire, Sorin. His tongue flicked at my lips, asking permission to enter, which I of course granted. I groaned as his kiss enveloped me, shivers of rapturous ecstasy flowing through my body.

Each touch, each kiss was as intense as a full-blown orgasm.

I pulled away, a question clear in my eyes.

Sorin nodded, golden eyes alight with amusement. “This is what sex as a demon is like.”

Jadzeera laughed. “You haven’t seen anything yet.”

Before I could say anything, Sorin had me by the hips, picked me up, and sat me directly on his face.

“Oh Jesus fuck,” I said as he explored me with his tongue. Each lick, each stroke, a devastating storm of pleasure soared through my body.

Eyes closed, moaning, I had no sense of where anyone was but their touches were distinct. With Sorin beneath me and focused on my clit, Callum came behind me, gently pushing my back down until I was on my hands and knees. He circled my opening with a finger, dipping in only partially, teasing me until I moaned his name. “Callum, please.”

He groaned behind me, straddled Sorin’s chest and rubbed the head of his cock against me.

“Please,” I whispered, unable to take the divine torture.

He sank into me and I wailed at the ceiling at the fullness of him stroking every sensitive spot within me.

Sorin continued to tease my clit, short flicking licks timed perfectly with Callum’s thrusts spooling up my desire. I rocked against them both, release burgeoning, as Jadzeera laid in front of me, her lithe body aglow with golden runes and spread her long, silky legs for me. She slid a slender finger down her folds, back arching at the sensation, and I couldn’t resist. I grabbed her hips and tugged her toward me, burying my face in her, lapping at her sweet flesh. She whimpered each time I found a sensitive spot, bucking and writhing against me. Her sultry cries almost pushed me over the edge.

Almost.

I reached blindly for Verrill, sighing as his hardness found my palm, delighting in the sounds he made as I stroked him.

Jadzeera rocked against me, I rocked against Sorin and Callum, and Verrill rocked into my hand.

We all found our pleasure at the same moment, writhing and moaning against each other. All except Sorin, who I couldn’t reach. I doubted he’d let that stand for very long.

He didn’t give us a chance to come down fully before nudging Callum off and flipping me on my back. I stared deep into my eyes as he flung my legs over his shoulders and slammed into me.

I screamed. Over and over he crashed into me and over and over I screamed as another climax ripped through me. He didn’t last long like that, and soon he growled out his own pleasure and collapsed on top of me.

One of my horde snapped their fingers and all the not-so-glamorous, sticky parts of sex were whisked away. We stayed like that a long time, limbs and hearts entwined, until we drifted off to sleep in a huge, sated puppy pile.

The next morning Magda served breakfast in my bedchamber. We nibbled on fruit and bread and cheese from bed, content to lie with each other forever.

“There will be days of celebration,” Verrill said.

Jadzeera nodded. “All of demonkind will want to meet and laud their savior.”

“And you’ll need to learn the ways of each realm, now that you’re the High Queen in practice, not simply for the sake of the prophecy.” Sorin grinned as he tore into a hunk of sausage.

I smiled. I couldn’t wait to visit the other realms and learn about their ways. And I longed to meet the demons I’d helped. But I couldn’t ignore a dull nagging thought that something was missing.

Something or....

Someone.

Dex.

The horde would never believe how much he’d helped me or how much his strength and hope bolstered my own will. They’d never accept him. Truthfully, I didn’t know if I could either. He’d tricked me and stolen Emma. But I had the suspicion there was more to the story and I had to give him the opportunity to tell his side. He was a part of this whether the other members of the horde liked it or not.

Excluding him would only lead to a repeat of the past.

And I was not into making the same mistake twice.

But I’d wait until later to broach the topic.

Because something else still bothered me, tapping at the back of my mind. Something which I was surprised no one else mentioned.

We’d taken back the magic the Blood King siphoned from the other realms and restored each realm to their true state. But what about the creatures the Blood King bargained with, the charges he’d given a larger chunk of magic to?

What about them?

Had we destroyed them?

Or had we made enemies of a powerful race?

The vampires.

The end. For now.
