Duggin (Moon Hunters Book 9) by Catty Diva (7)

Chapter 7

Mine

When Sharon woke, they were both naked and ready. She turned to him, reaching for his cock to stroke him until he was hard as a rock. She felt daring so she climbed on top of him and positioned him at her entrance so she could slide all the way down. Rocking on top of him, she was ready to come in minutes. She held back so they could enjoy the pleasure longer.

She rode him hard and he moved his fingers to her clit, plucking it until she could hold back no longer and climaxed. Her channel clenched and clutched at his staff so hard his seed was squeezed out as his orgasm rushed through him. Sharon couldn’t believe she had been so wanton, but Duggin just brought out the wild side in her.

“Gods, woman! That was amazing. Want to do it again?” He chuckled.

“I would, but it’s time for us to get out of bed,” she said as she slid off him to the edge of the bed. She stood up so he reached over to smack her ass. “Ouch,” Sharon said, but it was obvious it didn’t hurt.

Running to the bathroom, she turn on the water as she prepared to take a shower. Duggin followed her in. The shower was open without a door or a curtain. She noticed the second he entered, standing back to watch her as she soaped herself up. Stepping under the water, she rinsed herself free of soap.

He walked to her, stepping into the shower with her, hugging her tight against him. At first it felt nice, comforting. But as his hands stroked her, the feelings changed bringing out a strong need. Duggin lifted her before turning to lean her against the wall. Her legs wrapped around his waist as her arms hung around his neck. His hard length pressed up against her entrance insistently finding its way inside.

Now he pressed her against the wall as he pumped into her picking up speed. Soon, he was hammering into her. It felt so good, she was on the edge of release in no time. Her muscles tightened around his shaft as he hit all those delightful spots that made her channel flood with moisture.

“Gods, Sharon. You feel so damn good.”

“I’m so close, Duggin,” She admitted needing just a little to help her find her release. Her admission made him pound into her harder and deeper.

It was enough to push her over the edge. Sharon screamed his name as pleasure ripped through her body. Her channel squeezed down on him pushing him over. He froze for just a moment before he pounded into her hard, once, twice, and three times before he leaned on her obviously depleted of all energy. She was just happy he managed to hold them both up.

After taking a few moments for them both to calm, he let her slide down his body so she could stand on her own two feet. Once they were done here, they would have to start their day. She wanted their time together to last longer, but it was time to get ready to go to breakfast. They finished cleaning up, drying off, and dressing. It was time for breakfast before they had to go their separate ways.

The cafeteria was full of other likeminded people. Everyone seemed to have waited for the last minute to rush through their first meal before heading off to whatever they planned to do. Her plan was school. She hadn’t done as well as Clancy to start with because her health had been worse when they’d arrived. It was hard to concentrate on learning when you felt dizzy and weak. She would still be ready once the college opened to attend with Clancy. Many of their courses were the same for the first semester. That would make things easier for them since they’d study together.

Clancy would be working with the farmers after school while Sharon would be helping out in medical. Since there were a dozen nursing students this semester, they would be doing physicals for all the warriors in the afternoons. As each ship came in, they would stay long enough to send their soldiers down for the healers to check out in small groups of six a day. The students would only work every other day, three days a week. She was excited at the prospect of working with healers as well as patients.

Sharon was running behind by the time they finished breakfast and said their goodbyes. They were meeting again for lunch. Rushing to class, she was surprised when no one commented on her being tardy. Maybe it was because she was working on her own most days. She quickly started her computer so she could pull up the needed program.

It was fortunate that she loved to read because that was the biggest part of her work. The last part of her day she would do math problems, write essays, plan science projects, and do any needed tests. Now that Clancy had completed her high school education, Sharon was the most dedicated student. Her alarm went off alerting her to the fact it was lunch. Everyone else had already left without her noticing. That’s why she set her alarm. She became so engrossed in her work, nothing else mattered.

Finishing up her current page, she shut everything down so she could meet Duggin in the cafeteria. He was there waiting, but he’d gotten her a tray too. “Thank you,” she said with a smile.

“I just didn’t want you to have to rush. I take more time for lunch than you do,” he admitted.

“It was thoughtful anyway,” she offered before she began to eat. The food here was good, not only with tasty food but also a variety so they wouldn’t tire of it. What a change it was from what she and the other refugees were used to.

“I hope you like the chicken fried steak. The other choice was meatloaf which I knew you had a couple days ago.”

“You made the right choice. I love this because we don’t get it often.”

“I got you a piece of cheesecake. It was going fast.”

It was cherry cheesecake, a favorite which explained why it was all gone now. Vanilla pudding had replaced it. That was alright, but not nearly as well loved. Sharon was truly grateful for the dessert. She leaned in and gave him a kiss. It was unexpected, but he seemed happy she did.

“Tell me how the cleanup of mercenaries in the desert goes.”

“They’ve found a dozen unauthorized people, but only a couple seem to be mercenaries. Apparently, a family got stranded here, taking up residence in a cave living off the and as best they could. I believe Razar will let them stay if they choose to or see them to wherever they choose to go.”

“That’s kind of him.”

“They are good people, as far as I can tell. None of their own has ever turned on them. Those who have always seem to be employees recently come here. It amazes me they continue to take the chance on bringing in outsiders,” Duggin admitted.

“I think Razar has big plans but not enough people to bring them about. Besides, the number of people that have been bad are small compared to the good ones.”

“You’re right. It’s just the bad ones bring attention as well as the fear of the harm they can cause. They put everyone at risk.”

“There’s no denying what you say, but life is a risk. Most of those causing damage have snuck in. That’s impossible to prevent completely.”

“Maybe, but we will try to make it as close to impossible as we can.”

“Did you realize I’ll be done with school here in less than two weeks? College doesn’t start for two months after that. I’ll be working somewhere, probably on a farm, until then.”

“So soon? I hadn’t realized. We have a lot to discuss.”

Sharon’s heart beat faster. What did he want to talk about? Was he moving on or did he want to ask her to be his girlfriend? Wasn’t that the way it worked? It hadn’t with Clancy, she and Duke had gone right to living together, but she knew better than to expect things to move that fast. Those kind of expectations led to disappointment.

In her heart, she knew what he wanted, but she’d read a lot about relationships which told her males were the ones that usually feared commitment. Rushing them was a mistake, they would cut and run. Patience was required when dealing with the male animal. She’d read that in more than one book. That’s the rule of thumb she would apply.

Her life was mapped out for her. She knew what lay ahead. If she and Duggin decided on a more permanent relationship, it would change little for her. Her housing was being built even now. It was big enough for a family of four with additional rooms easy to add on later. He would be away much of the time leaving her living a life a lot like a single women. But she would have his visits home to look forward to which she would.

Lunch was over as Duggin escorted her back to class. The room was filling up with the teacher about to start working with a group of students. Duggin gave her a sweet kiss before he left as she watched him go. Sharon worried that she could never hold the attention of a male so sophisticated. He was a hunter who had traveled the galaxy. Her male knew of things she would never see, never experience. Could he ever really settle for such a naïve inexperienced woman?

As much as it worried her, she would know soon. He kept hinting at this talk they would soon have about the future. It would be best if she just put it aside until her day was done. Sharon would insist, as soon as she saw him, that they get this talk over with. The decision made, she pushed it out of her mind to deal with later.

Her school work occupied her as it always did. It was interesting but challenging as well, especially since she could move as her own pace. She rarely had a problem she couldn’t work through unless it involved math. Even that was only a problem once she got into higher math like algebra. Even then, once the teacher explained the new concepts, she could apply them without difficulty. Maybe that was because she was focused on her future. It also helped that she knew what she wanted to do with her life.
