ENVER: SciFi Cyborg Romance (Cyn City Cyborgs Book 2) by Pearl Foxx (12)

Enver

His bed had lumps in it. Hard nodules dug into Enver’s spine like rocks. He had never been so uncomfortable before. Each way he rolled, he discovered some new discomfort, and his pillow was suddenly too thin. He’d used the same pillow for years, when did it get so thin?

Sleep became an impossible goal. It wasn’t Enver’s body that hurt like it had bruises deep beneath his flesh but his heart. He’d never told anyone the things he’d confessed to Imogen, and the exposure left him raw. If he was honest, he longed for comfort, for a soft touch in a hard world. But that kind of honesty never paid off. It always left him in more pain.

Imogen’s body had been warm against his back on the motorcycle, her arms around his chest had soothed the ragged scars of his heart. He’d kissed her in the slums and almost kissed her again at the Ball & Joint. Fuck, what had he been thinking? He knew better than to get involved with someone like her, someone bound to leave as soon as a better opportunity came up.

He did this to himself. He knew it. Just living all the way out here in the middle of the fucking deadlands was enough to scare away any woman who would be willing to take a chance on a cyborg like him.

He rolled to his back, a boulder lodged against his spine. His dog tags hung to his side, and he grabbed them, fiddling with them between his metallic fingers. They hummed, and his personal information transmitted through his neural connection. The tags were calibrated so any cyborg could understand them, no matter how little of them remained. Precautions in case of explosion during the war.

Enver lived his entire life in precautions.

Outside his room, a squeaky board drew his attention.

It had to be Imogen, sneaking her way down the hall to the bathroom they shared. He often heard her at night, sneaking up to her workshop or the roof gardens. She didn’t seem to sleep much. But who could blame her. Sleep was for the innocent, people who hadn’t seen just how bad humanity could be.

The gentle footsteps paused outside of his door, and Enver would swear he heard a sigh.

He sat up, still clutching his dog tags to his bare chest and listened as the bathroom door opened and closed. He remembered the smoothness of her cheek against his fingers, the tremble in her breath as she’d leaned toward him.

His heart ached, and his body craved to be touched. His half hard cock stiffened the longer he listened, waiting for her to come back out and disappear down the hall. Maybe then he could get some sleep when he knew for sure she’d returned to her room.

If he’d been talking to anyone else, he’d call them out on this weak-ass bullshit. What kind of man was he, just waiting for his heart to get broken? Was it worth it to feel the heat of her lips against his again?

The bathroom door clicked as she opened it, and Enver jumped to his feet.

He strode to his door and whipped it open, finding a startled nightgown clad Imogen standing before him. Her white knee length dress was thin enough he could see the pebbles of her nipples pushing toward him, and that was enough to evict rational thought from his mind.

He reached for her, two metal hands on soft pliant hips, and pushed her back against the hallway wall. When he lowered his lips to hers, she wrapped her arms around his neck, one hand weaving through his unruly hair and pulling it slightly.

She stood on her toes, pressing her weight against him, so Enver could feel the fullness of her breasts against his chest, her nipples hard.

He moved a hand up, greedy to feel the weight of her breast. When he squeezed, she moaned against his mouth, opening for him. He slipped his tongue inside, tasting her sweet tanginess. She tasted like wildflowers, like mint spread across an otherwise barren hillside, like sun in the late morning.

He lowered his knees and flattened his body against hers, making no attempt to hide his desperate need. His cock lined up with her hip, and she shivered, wriggling between him and the wall to try and line him up with her core.

“Beautiful girl,” he whispered, pulling back and running a hand through her soft blonde hair. He couldn’t even remember the girl who’d first come here with only a patch of hair shaved and long golden locks. The wildness of her short hair, mussed from wind and bed, suited her so completely.

She gazed up at him with water in her eyes. “I was once.”

“You are now. You drive me crazy. You are the most beautiful, strong willed, giving soul I’ve ever known.”

Her lips returned to his, pushing against him with unexpected force. She ran her hands down his arms, both cybernetic and biological, and his whole body shook with pleasure.

His neurons flashed with input, blacking out rational thought. He gripped her ass, and lifted her off the ground, turning them back toward his room.

Despite her hungry moans and desperate kisses, Enver paused. “Are you sure?” He asked against her mouth.

Imogen rocked her hips forward in his hold, pressing the warmth of her pussy against him, so there could be no misunderstanding. “I’m absolutely positive.”

He carried her into the room in a fit of kisses. Kicking the door closed behind them was almost more than he could manage, but it banged behind them in a final announcement of privacy. He carried her to the bed, kneading her ass in his hands while she kissed his mouth, his jaw, and finally took his ear between her lips and sucked.

Enver moaned, dropping her on the bed and wasting no time pulling off his loose fitting sleeping shorts.

“Oh, my goodness,” Imogen said, raking her eyes over his body. “I knew you were like military strong but… wow…”

He flushed with the compliment. He didn’t think much about his appearance, just that his body could do the things he needed it too. But the heat in her eyes and the hungry smirk on her face made him feel like the strongest man on the planet.

His cock twitched, announcing its desire to show her just how hard his body really was.

Imogen scooted to the end of the bed and pulled her thin nightgown over her head. Her once thin body had filled out and sitting there before him, she shone like a goddess of sunshine and light. Her skin was pale and unmarked, unlike the scars that littered his chest and back, and her white-blonde hair shone around her head in the dim moonlight. Perfect teardrop breasts with luscious rose nipples beckoned him, but before he could reach for her, Imogen took his cock in her hand.

“Holy fuck,” he said, arching back. The muscles in his stomach all contracted at once in shocked response.

Her cool hand wrapped around him, tugging him slightly forward.

Enver moaned and closed his eyes.

Her fingers traced along the length of him and warm wet breath sent shocks through his system. An electrical current beginning in his gut shot around his body and up his spine. He hadn’t been touched in so long. Her simple caress made his legs shake and he didn’t dare open his eyes for fear it was all a dream.

When her soft tongue ran along the length of him, circling his cockhead, and then ran back down to lavish his balls, he almost collapsed. He admired the beauty before him as her naturally pink lips widened to take him in. From this vantage point, he could watch as his cock disappeared slowly into her mouth, inch by inch, until she’d taken all of him. The back of her throat pushed against the head, and when she puckered her cheeks to suck, as she pulled back Enver’s mind spun.

She took him in, again and again, as he watched the curve of her back, the swell of her hips and ass, bent before him.

He laid a hand on her shoulder, steadying himself from the onslaught of sensations swelling in him. As his orgasm rose he pulled away, taking deep breaths to calm his body. He wanted more time with her, to devour her from one end to the other and then start again.

“Lay down,” he growled, words coming hard on his exhale.

Imogen shivered and blushed, appearing momentarily away as if she might bolt.

Oh no, that wouldn’t do.

Enver leaned down, pulled her knees to the edge of the bed and then spread them wide so he could sit between them before pulling her body down the rest of the way.

She squealed, struggling playfully. “What are you…”

He stole the words from her mouth as he lowered his lips to her core and pressed a sure, strong kiss against the downy mound before him.

Imogen arched her back
