His Wildest Dream: A Portville Mpreg Romance (M/M Non-Shifter Omegaverse) by Xander Collins (11)

Daniel

When we got home that night, we started to fool around, and I could tell Cameron was thinking about entering me and letting himself knot inside me. “I want to feel myself inside you, Daniel,” Cameron said as he pressed his hard cock into my belly. He moved his lean body up and down against mine, his muscles flexing with each movement. “But I want it to be right for both of us. Do you want me to knot inside you now, or do you want to wait?”

“Wait until when?” I asked, my cock getting harder each time Cameron’s body moved against it.

“Until we get married. But maybe that’s too old fashioned. I mean, I would say we’ve technically had sex. I just haven’t entered you. Or knotted you.”

The thought of walking down the aisle a virgin made me smile. It had always been a secret fantasy of mine, but it did seem kind of silly these days. Cameron was right … it was kind of old fashioned. It didn’t seem like anyone was a virgin anymore. But it was also kind of romantic.

Then, to my horror, I remembered what I’d said to Cameron the first night we’d fooled around. I’d lied to him to make myself seem cooler than I was. I’d told him I wasn’t a virgin. I suddenly hated myself for being so insecure and stupid. “I don’t think that’s old fashioned at all. It sounds nice, actually. But it’s not necessary. I don’t want to make you wait.”

“I would wait until the end of time for you, Daniel. Just tell me what you want, and I’ll do it.”

My heart melted when I heard those words. “Well, my heat will be coming in about a week or two, and you know what that was like the last time I was around you. I could come early and be just as intense. Do you know what the date is for the wedding?”

“I talked to Janine about booking a venue, so I’m just waiting to hear back from her. The dates I gave her are in about a month.”

“Oh, wow. A month?”

Cameron leaned in and kissed me. “We can do a lot of other stuff in that month,” he said with a smile. “But if you want to do it now, just say the word.”

“No, I want to wait. Maybe I can go on a heat suppressant until then.”

“That’s not a bad idea.” Cameron’s lips lingered on mine and pushed all other thoughts out of my mind. “Now spread your legs and grab your cock. I want to fuck your mouth while you make yourself come.”

Cameron’s words knocked the air out of me. He had a way of doing that, like he could read my mind and knew exactly what I wanted to hear. I wrapped my hand around my cock and waited to feel Cameron’s head hit the back of my throat.

The next morning, while we were all out on the patio, I was doing some secret wedding ring searches on my tablet. I wasn’t quite sure what to get him or how I was going to pay for it, but I really wanted to get Cameron something special.

Breakfast had been over for more than an hour and we were all doing our own thing, only we were doing it together. Cameron was going over some stock quotes and Maggie was coloring silently at one of the patio tables. “Look, Daddy!” she said as she ran over to where we were sitting. “I made this for you and Daniel.” She set the paper down on the table next to him and pushed it over his tablet. He picked it up with a big smile on his face. "This is beautiful, sweetie. It's all three of us together," he said, turning the paper around showing into me. It was a drawing of the two of us in black suits with Maggie in between us in a pink dress.

"It's the day when you get married. That's you, and that’s Daniel, and that’s me. See how professional we all look?” Maggie looked up at me with concern in her eyes. “I’m going to be there too, aren’t I?” she asked.

“Of course, you are, sweetie, you’ll be there with us the whole time. Do you want to walk down the aisle ahead of Daniel? Maybe throw some flower petals on the ground?” Cam asked as he picked her up and set her down on his leg.

"Yes! I want to throw petals!" she said with big eyes. “That would be so pretty!”

"What color?" Cameron asked.

Maggie looked over at me while she decided. "Pink," she said, finally. "I think Daniel would look good with pink flowers.”

“What do you think?” Cameron asked me.

“I love pink,” I said.

“Then pink it is. Pink flowers everywhere in every shade.”

Just then, Janine walked into the kitchen. "Hey, there you are," she said with a smile. “I have some news about the venue. It looks like we can book The Murdoch Mansion.”

“The Murdoch Mansion? I thought they didn’t do weddings.”

“Well, I put in a call to a friend of mine who works there and they said, considering who it was and what you were willing to pay, they would book it.”

Cameron looked at me with his mouth hanging open. “I can’t believe it. I’ve always dreamed of having a wedding or anniversary there. That place has been a Portville icon since before I was a kid. I remember my entire fifth-grade class went there on a field trip, and I fell in love. I can’t believe they’re going to let us get married there.”

I hadn’t seen Cameron react this way before and it was so amazing knowing that this wedding was as exciting for him as it was for me.

“The one problem is, their only available date is a bit earlier than any of the ones you gave me.”

“How much earlier?” Cameron asked.

“In two weeks.”

“Wow. Do you think we could pull this all together in two weeks?”

"I don't see why not. We’ll need to pick a color scheme and menu immediately, but I have plenty of contacts who can work round the clock to get everything put in place. As far as RSVPs, I can pretty much guarantee you that anyone you send a wedding invitation to will cancel any previous plans they had on the spot. This is going to be the wedding of the year. There are people who have been waiting for years to get a glimpse of you, Cam. No one is going to miss this wedding, that’s for sure. I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned into a total media circus.”

Cameron laughed out loud, the sexy wrinkles in the corners of his eyes making my heart almost stop. “Well, I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen. We don’t want to alarm all the guests.”

“What people are you talking about?” I asked.

“Well, when Gregory was alive, we were on the guest list of most of the parties and events around town."

"Don’t be modest, Cam. The two of them were the toast of the town. If anyone found out that Cam and Greg were attending an event, it was standing room only within seconds. Like a sold-out rock concert.”

“Oh, come on,” Cameron said, his face turning red. “Don’t exaggerate.”

"So how many people are going to be at the wedding?” I asked.

"Well, including the eight people on the list you gave me, we’re looking at…” Janine swiped a couple times on her tablet, " About three-hundred guests. And, from what the website says, the reception hall at The Murdoch Mansion can only accommodate fifty for a sit-down dinner. But we can set up tents outside and do a buffet-style meal."

“Three-hundred people?” I asked, my head spinning at the thought of walking down an aisle with three-hundred people watching.

“Daniel, we don’t have to invite all these people. If you’re more comfortable with a small wedding, we can—”

“No, no … this is your wedding too. Just as long as …”

“What?” Cameron asked. “Anything you want, Daniel.”

“Well, just as long as I don’t have to walk down the aisle by myself. Would you walk down the aisle with me?” I knew I was asking a lot. That wasn’t a very traditional request. I knew I could ask Stephen and he’d do it in a second, but the thought of being escorted by Cameron just seemed too perfect.

“That would be wonderful,” he said, taking my hand and kissing it.

“Okay, then I’ll book the date,” Janine said. “Now we just need to pick a color scheme. We can talk about the menu later today.”

"Well, Maggie has chosen pink flowers. I think tea roses and peonies would be nice, in a variety of shades of pink. Other than that, I don't have anything in particular. I think we’re going to keep it simple. No bridesmaids or grooms. Just Maggie walking down the aisle in front of us. We can each have pink roses on our lapels."

“That sounds lovely. I’ll get things started, then find you later, after I’ve picked a caterer.”

I couldn’t keep my eyes off Cameron while he was talking to Janine about our wedding. It was so thrilling hearing about this lavish wedding with pink roses and peonies at a huge mansion, and I had to keep reminding myself that it was my own wedding that he was talking about.

I was so glad that Janine would be taking care of everything because I didn’t even have the vaguest idea where to begin, and I wondered if I should talk to her about the wedding ring.

And as if he were reading my mind, Cameron beat me to it. “And can you make an appointment at Tiffany for us. Anytime this week would be fine.” Cameron looked at me and smiled, then down at Maggie. “Do you want to go help Daniel and me pick out our wedding rings?”

“Yes!” Maggie yelled.

As the wedding day grew near, I became progressively more nervous thinking about those three-hundred people that would be staring at me as we walked down the aisle. People who were the highest on the social scale in all of Portville. It was incredibly intimidating for someone like me.

But that wasn’t the main thing I was worried about. I felt horrible that I had lied to Cameron. I’d wanted to be sophisticated. I’d wanted him to think of me as more than some street kid. And even though I would risk his trust in me, I knew I had to tell him the truth. I just wasn’t sure how to do it, or when, and before it knew it, the wedding day had come and I still hadn’t said a thing.

I had decided when I looked in the bathroom mirror the morning of our wedding that I had to tell him. I glanced down at the hormone suppressant pill in my hand and put it back in the bottle.

On the bottle it said to stop taking it twenty-four hours before you intended to mate, so I figured if I stopped taking it now that gave my body plenty of time.

I wanted everything to be perfect. I didn’t want any barriers between us, no lies and no drugs keeping me from going into heat, and I vowed that I wouldn’t let myself down.

The four of us took the limo up to The Murdoch Mansion that morning. We wound our way along forested streets, then up a long driveway to the very top of a hill that overlooked the entire city. There were bushes and trees on both sides of the drive that were overflowing with gorgeous flowers, and a huge emerald-green lawn that seemed to stretch on forever. When I stepped out of the back of the limo, the smell of freshly cut grass was everywhere and the air was cool on my face.

I had to keep reminding myself that this was my life, because it felt like a dream.

We walked in through some double French doors, then around a corner, and a massive, winding staircase was right in front of us. I’d never seen anything like it in my life. The handrails were made of smooth, dark wood, and they twisted up on both sides of a huge set of marble stairs, then branched off to two sets of stairs on either side of a landing.

We were greeted by a number of people in white jackets who escorted us up the first set of stairs. As the four of us walked up, I looked around and was amazed at how every piece of molding was carved in some fancy way. There were pillars and arches and pictures in ornate frames on every wall. I couldn’t believe someone lived here at one time and had put so much into their home.

“Will we be coming down these stairs?” I asked, my voice bouncing off the walls and high ceilings.

“No, there’s not enough room in here for all of the wedding guests,” Janine said. “The wedding is going to be out in the garden.”

I was kind of relieved. I could just see myself tripping down these stairs in front of three-hundred people.

The attendants took each of us to our own dressing room. Janine went with Maggie to help her get dressed and Cameron and I were in two adjoining rooms. He had been so calm and cool as we walked up the stairs, and I didn’t want to say anything else until we were alone. I didn’t understand why he didn’t seem more excited to be here.

"This is so amazing,” I said after we were in my dressing room and the attendant shut the door.

"It is. I’ve always dreamt of having an event here. I can't tell you how excited I am that the event is our wedding, Daniel.”

“Well, you could have fooled me. You always look so calm, cool, and collected,” I said, looking down. “And I always feel like a nervous kid.”

“Looks can be deceiving," Cameron said with a smile. “I wouldn’t be surprised if I was more excited than you are, and just as nervous.”

"Really?"

"You were the one who told me that a person never knows what’s going on in another’s head.”

“Oh yeah,” I said. “I guess it’s hard to remember when you’re the one who feels inadequate. I just can’t imagine you being nervous about anything.”

“You have no reason to feel inadequate, Daniel. A lot of these people are going to be like strangers to me. I haven’t seen most of them in years, so it’s a little nerve-wracking. And I think it’s only natural to be a little nervous when you are about to get everything you’ve ever wanted."

Cameron looked down at me, his eyes filled with that steely self-assuredness that always took my breath away. But there is also a tinge of kindness and understanding that totally made my heart melt.

A knock at the door broke the spell between us. “Okay, you two,” Janine said, popping her head in. “We need to start getting ready. The wedding is happening on the back lawn in an hour.”

Cameron pulled his phone out of his pocket to check the time. “Wow, time really flies when you’re having fun,” he said, giving me a stealthy wink. “We’ll be ready.”

Janine left, and Cameron took me in his arms again. “I can’t wait until you’re all mine,” he growled in my ear. He kissed me, then went through the door that led to his dressing room.

It didn’t take long to get into my tuxedo. I looked at my phone and realized I still had forty-five minutes until we had to be down there for the ceremony. I found myself pacing around my dressing room and watching out the window as streams of cars pulled up to the entrance and let out group after group of people. It seemed like every single person in Portville was coming to this wedding.

The longer I stood there, the more nervous I got until I finally couldn’t take it anymore. The image of the way Cameron had looked at me just before he went to get dressed kept flashing in my mind. I was terrified if I told him the truth, he would never look at me that way again. That I would never see that lustful stare I’d seen in his eyes since the first time we were together, or the kindness when he told me that he loved me and wanted to marry me.

Cameron was the first person in my life to make me feel appreciated and understood and sexy, and I was afraid that I’d never have that again.

But none of that mattered. I had to go and talk to him. I had to tell him the truth no matter what happened. If I didn’t tell him that I really was a virgin, that I’d lied to him, then nothing would matter anymore. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself because I would know that we had started out our lives together with a lie.
