Not So Casual: Part 1: Bre & Collin #1 (Power Play Series Book 13) by Kelly Harper (1)

Chapter 1

“Are you coming with me or are you spending the rest of the night wishing you had?”

Bre didn’t wait around to see if Collin was going to get out of the pool and follow her to her room. They’d been flirting all night and she felt him checking her out when she climbed out of the pool. She knew how good she looked in a bikini. He definitely wanted her. And she also knew that Aimee wanted some privacy with her new boy toy, Logan. Best to get back to her room where she could have a little fun of her own.

She followed the path from the pool to the gigantic mansion where she’d be spending the weekend. The mansion was owned by Logan and it was only by luck that Bre was even there. Collin came running up from behind, still dripping from the pool. She waited at the door long enough for him to towel off his trunks and pull his button-up shirt around his shoulders.

He looked even taller now that they were standing next to each other. Collin’s large, athletic frame reminded Bre of the jock assholes she had avoided in high school. But she didn’t get the impression that he was an asshole, and she wasn’t the closed off girl she’d been back then.

“I hope you don’t think you’re getting lucky, I just wanted to give Aimee and Logan some privacy.”

Collin’s eyes widened in surprise as he let out a laugh.

“That’s bold. What makes you think I want to hook up with you?”

His blond hair was short enough that it still managed to look good when it was soaking wet.

“You’ve been checking me out all night… Are you just leading me on?”

“What can I say? You have a nice ass.”

Her eyes narrowed.

“Are you objectifying me?”

The boyish smile on his face wavered.

“I didn’t mean it like that. I just meant that you have a nice ass. It was a compliment.”

He was too cute when he got flustered. That could become a problem.

“That’s too bad… I like it when hot guys objectify me.”

Collin’s eyes got even wider as his mouth hung open. He looked like he was about to laugh when his brain had decided to push the pause button.

“Maybe I should give it another shot. I’m sure I can do better.”

“Sorry, you already missed your chance,” she said, shrugging indifferently. “Now, if you would be so kind as to lead me to my room so I don’t get lost in this huge place…’

“Ah, that’s why you wanted me to come with you. You know, Logan pays his house staff very well to handle those kinds of things.”

“But they don’t have a cute butt for me to admire along the way.”

Collin flashed another surprised look. She liked how easy it was to catch him off guard. This was going to be a lot of fun.

“Are you objectifying me, Bre Sullivan?”

“Absolutely.”

“Good.” His blue eyes sparkled, confidently. “Follow me. I’ll lead the way.”

Bre wasn’t subtle when she checked Collin out as he turned and made his way into the mansion. He really did have a nice butt. She wondered what it would be like to grab that thing and hold onto it as he slid himself into her. How many other parts of him were just as nice as his butt? Her core trembled at the thought of it.

The Hamptons mansion was the most extravagant place Bre had ever found herself, but it was hard to pay attention to her surroundings when the only thing she could think about was having her way with the man in front of her. It had been far too long since her last hookup and her body was starting to crave it. If everything went well this weekend then she should be able to make it at least another week or two before she needed to find someone else.

She had an impossibly high sex drive. Thankfully, New York City had no shortage of men that were willing to help her with that issue. They only became a problem when they wanted to stick around afterwards.

“Here we are,” Collin said, stopping at a door that looked familiar.

She’d been to her room once before—right after they’d taken a ride from New York City in Logan’s personal helicopter. The mansion still disoriented her and they’d made it to her room faster than she’d expected. Collin hadn’t made a single sexual comment the entire way! She was going to have to teach him a thing or two…

“You’re such a gentleman,” she said, opening the door to let herself in.

Collin beamed.

“I do what I can.”

“It wasn’t a compliment.”

His forehead wrinkled and he gave her a confused look. Bre bit her lip, fighting off another rush that coursed through her body. Collin looked delicious when he was thrown off like that.

“Well… sleep well. I’m sure I’ll see you in the morning.”

“That’s it?” she said.

His head tilted to the side and he gave her a cautious look.

“What do you mean?”

She bit her lip again and slowly looked him up and down. Yes, she was going to have fun with this one…

“Well, are you going to fuck me or are you going to spend the rest of the night wishing you had?”

She held him in her confident smile just long enough to make sure he knew what she wanted. Then she turned and disappeared into her room, leaving the door open behind her.
