Rader's Bride: Bonus: Alien Dream (Interstellar Matchmaking Book 2) by T.J. Quinn, Clarisa Lake (13)

Chapter Fourteen

Rader and Skye each carried a light pack loaded with food and water as they left the house to talk into the woods at the edge of the small open field beside his house. The forest was like a wall of dark green tree trunks and lighter green leaves along the edge of the field. There was a path opening near the center of the field.

“When I had time on my hands I cut paths through the trees so I could explore. Sometime Makus and I take his children exploring so they can get a look at the plant and animal life in its natural environment,” Rader said.

“Are there any dangerous animals in here?”

“Not to humans. There are some small predators that prey on even smaller mammals and reptiles. None that would harm humans. On the far continent, there are the large dragon-like creatures I told you about once,”

“I would like to see them sometime,” she said.

“They are quite impressive, and so far haven’t proven dangerous.”

As they walked into the woods out of the direct sunlight, the temperature dropped a few degrees. It was still comfortably warm. Skye fell into step beside Rader and slipped her hand into his.

“How big are they?” she asked.

“About your size with a four-meter wingspan.”

“And they’re not sentient?”

“Sub-sentient, according to Alliance regs for colonization. They are near the intelligent level of primates on Earth. Colonization is allowed with restrictions against destroying the natural habitat for indigenous life forms.”

“Is that why much of the land is still covered in forest and natural plant life?” she asked.

“That is exactly why. Alliance worlds learned the hard way not to destroy the natural environment of their worlds because repairing it is far more difficult than preserving it.”

“Don’t even get me started. There are still people on Earth that kill animals for trophies---because they can.”

“They kill each other as well.”

“Yes. We still have wars and crime. Some of us were hoping the Alliance would fix that for us, but  it’s not going to happen.”

“No, they just want to protect your world from humanoid trafficking and aggression from aliens like the Drayids.”

“They are what you fought,” she said.  “I saw pictures of them online. They looked like giant ants that walked on their hind legs.”

“I have no idea how many I killed---but many.”

“They thought it was a rogue operation, a rebel faction that didn’t agree on peace with the Alliance.”

“At least that’s what they told us after the Alliance destroyed them,” Rader said.

“Because they got caught. If those Drayids had taken Earth for their empire, they would have been heroes. Only they got caught, and now they’re renegades.”

“Of course.”

They walked a for a while in companionable silence, then Rader stopped her and pointed to a little red animal perched on a tree branch. It looked like a cross between a bird and a reptile. It had feet with opposable thumbs and very fine feathers almost like fur and red bats’ wings.

Rader showed her many different flowers and trees. There were a few plants that he pointed out that were poisonous to touch like poison ivy. There was one large plant with heavy green leaves and a giant bulbous red flower in the middle. It opened up, so the petals laid flat on the ground until an animal crossed its path. The petals had thorns that opened up and pierced their prey as the petals closed on them.

They were capable of killing small animals up to about twenty kilos. They could hurt a human, but most were strong enough to break free. The thorns were sharp and long and made painful punctures in the skin that were slow to head because of the digestive fluid they injected as they closed on their prey. Fortunately, the red petals were impossible to miss even in the woods.

Rader also pointed out that where ever they grew, the trees were spread further apart because their roots crowded them out. That allowed more light to get to their leaves. They were such beautiful plants; it was hard to believe they were dangerous.

They walked at a leisurely pace as they were in no hurry to get to a specific place at any given time. They were just exploring. Rader had seen sights many times, but he liked watching Skye’s excitement at seeing the alien plant and animal life forms.

After walking about two hours, they came to a waterfall by a small stream. That was the place Rader picked for them to rest, he said. They took off their packs and set them down in a grassy spot and walked over to the small pool at the bottom of the waterfall. The water was clear and inviting.

“Is this pool safe to safe to swim in?” Skye asked. It hadn’t seemed that warm, but they were both hot and sweaty from their exertions.

“It is free of harmful flora and fauna, but you would find the water very cold,” he said with a familiar glint in his eyes.

“But you would be more than happy to keep me warm with your gorgeously hot body,” she said with a sexy grin.

“Of course, I would,” he grinned.

Skye walked over to the water and squatted down to put her hand in to test the temperature. “It is a bit chilly but the sun is warm, and it will feel good for a few minutes. She got up and walked over to where they’d set their packs and sat on the grass to untie her shoes and take them off.

Seeing she intended to take off her clothes and take a dip in the pool under the small waterfall, Rader sat beside her and took off his shoes as well. Once he got his shoes and socks off, he stood and pulled his shirt off over his head then dropped his trousers.

Skye chuckled to herself and got up, unable to avert her eyes from Rader’s excellent male form. It took her just a little longer than him to disrobe because she was wearing a bra and panties under her shirt and pants.

When her clothes lay in a heap on the grass, she hurried past Rader without stopping. She knew if she let him distract her she would never make it to the water.  Not that she didn’t adore Rader distracting her, but she really wanted to cool off in the spring-fed pool.

She gasped as she stepped into the water in a shallow spot just past the deeper pool then waded into the deeper part of the pool. The cold water felt good as she reached the deep part that was a little over waist deep.

It was really only big enough to take a dip---about two and a half meters across. Rader followed her into the water hardly noticing the cold. She dunked into the water up to her chin and gasped at the chill then stood up. She scooped up some water in her hands and scrubbed it over her face.

Rader did the same.

“Brrr!” she said. “I’m cool now.” Skye quickly waded to the bank and climbed out of the water, shaking it off. Her body was covered with gooseflesh and glistened with water droplets all over her.

Rader thought she never looked more magnificent. Rounded hips, soft belly, full breasts with their rosy tips taut and erect. She looked so sexy, he couldn’t stop his cock from going completely erect as he emerged from the water.

She drew in a shaky breath as she took in the sight of him. Rader smiled then went to his pack and took out a thinly folded tarp from his pack and spread it on the ground.

Skye turned to him and went into his arms, pressing cool, wet skin against his. She kissed his throat then raise his mouth to meet his. As they kissed passionately, Rader lifted her legs up to wrap around him, gripping her lush buttocks and guided her opening over his cock. They both moaned their delight as they came together.

It was as if they were somehow incomplete until they came together, two halves of a whole. Rader stood there holding her and kissing her as she held him inside her with her legs wrapped around him. Eventually, he lowered them to the ground onto the tarp.

He took her slowly at first, picking up speed as she softly urged him to give her more. When he wasn’t kissing her, he was watching her face as he drove his shaft into her. She’d make a soft grunting sound as he thrust into her.

“Rader… you…feel…so…good,” she murmured.

And then they soared over the top as the tide of their mutual orgasm rocked them in that blissful rhythm under the lavender sky.

They lay together for a long time afterward, kissing and touching before they finally separated. After cleaning up in the water, they sat down on the tarp to eat while they dried in the warm breeze. Then they dressed and hiked back to the house.
