Seducing Him: A Billionaire Beach Island Romance (Billionaires of Driftwood Island Book 2) by Sloane Meyers (10)

Chapter Ten

* TRENT *

I wasn’t sure how, exactly, I’d planned on the day unfolding. I guess I’d thought that things would start out low key with some swimming, maybe a bit of kissing, and a picnic. Perhaps in the afternoon, after finishing one of the bottles of wine I’d brought along, Megan and I would take things to the next level.

I hadn’t expected to be naked in the ocean with Megan right after arriving on the beach. And I definitely hadn’t expected her to be a virgin. I found myself a bit nervous, almost as though it was my first time, not hers. I wanted it to be special and memorable for her. She’d assured me that it would be, because it was with me, but that didn’t take the pressure off.

Now, though, that I’d warmed her up and made her cum with just my finger, I was feeling more relaxed. We were meant for each other, and we’d been hungry for each other all week. I’d been holding back on telling her how I really felt, and how desperately I needed her, because I hadn’t wanted to impose on her in the middle of her grief over her grandmother. But now I could see that she’d been craving me, too. And we were both about to give in to those cravings.

The warm, salty ocean water swirled around us, and the sun shone down brilliantly from the azure blue sky. The breeze was refreshing, carrying the earthy smells of salt and sand across the water. Beneath my toes, the wet, sandy ocean floor squished delightfully. Everything around us was perfect, a genuine island paradise. But I hardly noticed any of it for more than a passing moment. The only thing that mattered was that Megan stood in front of me, her naked breasts rising and falling with the rapid rhythm of her breathing. Beneath the rippling water, I could see her sweet sex, waiting for me. Ready for me. She trembled slightly, and when I met her shining eyes I could see the mixture of nerves and passion there.

“Just relax,” I whispered to her. “We’ll take things slowly. If you ever feel uncomfortable or not ready for something, just tell me, okay? This is all about you.”

She nodded gratefully, and I felt a surge of love for her. My protective instincts were kicking in, and I wanted to make sure I was making love to her in a way she would enjoy. There was a time to be rough, and to show off my alpha male side. But in this moment, I wanted to show off my tender side. I could be gentle, too, when the moment called for it. And right now, the moment called for it. I wanted to protect her heart, and to make sure this memory was something she always cherished.

“Please,” she whispered. “Make love to me. I can’t bear another minute of waiting.”

I smiled, my heart warming at her words. Okay, so maybe I didn’t have to take things quite as slowly as all that. My woman wanted me, and that only turned me on more. My dick was hard as steel, and I could feel the pressure building in it as every cell of my body throbbed with desire for Megan. And who could blame me? Her curves were perfect, and I couldn’t wait to slide myself into her. I wanted to feel her hot, wet inner walls tight around my cock, causing the pressure to build until I couldn’t take it and exploded inside of her.

I positioned myself in front of her in the water so that my throbbing erection was right in front of her sweet entrance. I nudged at that entrance, pushing slowly forward and giving her plenty of time to react to what I was doing. She closed her eyes, her face radiant with pleasure, and I continued to push. I slowly inched my way into her, amazed at how tight and hot she was.

“Trent,” she moaned.

I pushed a little more. “You feel that, babe? Feel me filling you? Feel me inside of you like no man has ever been before?”

She only moaned again, and I pushed a little farther. I felt the tight resistance of her body slowly giving way, until I was all the way inside of her, deep in the most sensitive part of her body. I held myself still there for a few moments, giving her time to savor the feeling. And then, I began to slide back and forth.

I moved my hips in her, starting with a slow rhythm and gradually speeding up. The water around us swirled and rippled as I moved faster and faster, thrusting back and forth and feeling my heart pound in my chest as the fiery pressure between my legs grew. She was so tight. So hot. I could hardly hold back.

But I did hold back. I let my thick erection draw out the deepest pleasures her body had to give her. I rubbed against her most sensitive skin, and delighted in the way she whimpered as her breathing grew faster and faster. Soon, she was unable to contain the pressure anymore, and she exploded into a violent orgasm that squeezed my dick harder than anything I’d ever felt.

As she threw back her head and screamed, her inner walls clenched around me over and over. It only took moments for me to join her in her release. I exploded inside of her, spilling hot seed deep into her. My cock throbbed and pulsed as her tight heat enveloped it. For several long, glorious moments, we rode the waves of our pleasure together. When finally my breathing began to steady and my body began to settle, I knew I would never be the same again. I knew there had never been a woman like Megan before, and there never would be again. She was it for me, from this day forward. Her perfection had ruined me for anyone else.

“There’s only you,” I whispered in her ear. “From now until forever, there’s only you.”

She sighed happily and leaned her head against my chest, content in the afterglow of the beginning of a glorious life together.

A few days later, I walked into the city council’s boardroom, trying to look as confident as possible. I was doing a pretty damn good job of it too, even if I do say so myself. I had shaved for the occasion, and combed my hair to tame its normally crazy, mussed-up look. I was wearing my best suit, which probably cost more than some of these guys’ monthly mortgage payments.

I had debated whether I wanted to look too “fancy.” I knew that several of the city council members were wary of me. Rumors had spread around town that I had thought of selling my dad’s property to Zach Evans, and I’d endured more than a few sneers of “outsider” while at Joe’s Sandbar. I tried not to let the jabs get to me. Soon enough, everyone would see that I was here to do what was best for the locals.

But I was also here to do what was best for Megan and me, and so I chose the expensive suit and put on a stern facial expression. At the heart of me, I was still a businessman. And I had never had a business I cared more about than the art gallery I had planned for Megan.

“Good morning, gentlemen,” I said, settling into the empty seat that was waiting for me at the conference table. “I won’t waste your time with pleasantries. I’ve come here to make you an offer that I hope you’ll agree is fair and in Driftwood Island’s best interests.”

“Well then, let’s hear it,” the head councilman said, crossing his arms and leaning back in his chair as though he couldn’t wait to see what circus I had planned for today.

I stood, deciding that I wanted to appear a bit more authoritative.

“As many of you know,” I began, “My father left me a large tract of beachfront property in his will. I’ve debated long and hard on the best thing to do with that land, since I myself have no interest in living there.”

“And? Did you reach any conclusions?” the head councilman asked.

I could feel the tension in the room. “Yes. I did. I’ve decided that the best course of action would be to donate the land to the government of Driftwood Island so that it can be set up as a public beach and nature preserve.”

I paused for a moment to allow these words to sink in. A mixture of relieved and ecstatic expressions began to appear on the councilmen’s faces.

“Well, Trent, that’s very generous of you,” the head councilman stammered out with a smile.

Before he could continue, I raised my hand for silence. “However, there are a few things I want in return.”

The skeptical faces returned, but I ignored them and plowed forward.

“I would like to buy the tract of land directly adjacent to the Evans Resort. You know: the one that they’ve been trying to convince you all to sell to them for years. It’s a large tract, and I know it will be expensive, but I’ll pay a fair price for it. Don’t worry. I don’t want to build any kind of resort there. I only want to build a home on the far side of the tract, so that I can move back here and live on a gorgeous beachfront property. A gorgeous beachfront property that doesn’t hold any bad memories of my father.”

“Okay,” the head councilman said slowly. “I think that would be acceptable. We just don’t want another resort in town. And we’d be happy to have you back on the island, Trent.”

I nodded. “Thank you. But there’s one more thing. I want permission to build a small art gallery on the very edge of the land, right next to the resort. I know you don’t want more businesses there, but this would be a small one that would hardly add anything to the resort’s footprint. And it would be intended to benefit one of your own locals.”

“Who?”

“Megan Reed. She’s been selling her paintings to art galleries in Miami, but I know she could easily sell them here if she had a good spot next to the resort to display them. It’s the only commercial use I’ll ask for, but I think it’s a good one. It’ll help out a local, thereby helping out our local economy. And since the rest of the land I want to buy will all be zoned residential according to our agreement, you won’t have to worry about any big resorts coming in and convincing me to sell just so they can build there.”

The councilmen looked at each other uncertainly. I wasn’t worried, though. I’d been closing business deals for a long time, and I knew when I’d won. Even though they were all trying to appear skeptical, I could tell that they liked my idea, and that they were going to accept my proposal.

“This is certainly an interesting offer, Trent,” the head councilman said. “And we would certainly appreciate the donation of your father’s land. But we need to discuss your other terms and vote on them before we agree.”

“Fair enough,” I said, flashing them a wide smile. I reached down to gather up the small briefcase I had brought in with me. “I’ll leave you gentlemen to it, then. Just let me know when you’ve reached a decision.”

I walked confidently out of the boardroom, knowing that I’d been successful on the most important business deal of my life. My future on Driftwood Island, and my future with Megan, was secure.

I grinned as I hopped into my car and started driving toward Driftwood Island’s one and only jewelry store. I figured ring-shopping was as good a way as any to pass the time while I waited for the city council to announce their official decision.
