Chapter Thirteen

Barbie waited for Crash in her bed, dressed in nothing but an Egyptian cotton sheet tossed over her body. When he stepped from the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his perfectly sculpted hips, she peeled the sheet away and met his eyes.

“Barbie—are you sure?” Crash asked.

“Why the question?” Barbie sat up and pulled the sheet over herself. “You don’t want…”

“Of course.” Crash sat on the side of the bed. He turned his back to her and she knew what he was doing. “Do you see them?”

“Yes.” She swallowed the lump in her throat before reaching out to draw a tender finger close to one of the scabbed over burns. “I’m sorry I didn’t get to you sooner. I needed back-up and CIRO was so far and—”

“That’s not why I’m showing you these.”

“You think I wouldn’t want you because you have a few marks?” Barbie asked, shoving at his shoulder so he would face her. “I’m not perfect, either. And I don’t expect you to be.”

“You are to me—perfect, that is.”

Barbie shook her head. “I’m not a size zero. I have stretch marks. I have scars from being shot. Caleb—does that change the way you look at my body?”

“No.”

“Then why do you think I would ever stop wanting you because of something you had no control over? Is that how little you think of me?”

Crash framed her cheeks with his palms and leaned in until she felt his breath brushing her face. “You know me very well, Barbie.” His voice cracked. “What I think of you isn’t in question. Right now, I don’t feel like myself. I don’t feel worthy of you. I don’t feel sexy enough for you. I—”

Barbie leaned in and kissed him roughly. She moaned accepting his tongue into her mouth to tangle with her own. She wrapped her arms around his neck but lifted her head. “You’ll always be worthy of me, Crash. Do you not know how good you are—how beautiful…how breath-takingly sexy…”

“I don’t think that’s a word.”

Barbie frowned at him. “I’m trying to make a point. That no matter what, you’ll always be the sexiest man in any room to me.”

Crash shook his head.

“You promised to give yourself to me, Crash. And I want it—all of it.”

He groaned as she leaned backward, drawing him onto of her. Taking his full weight atop her, she reached down and gripped the towel. When she tugged it came free. Barbie discarded it by tossing it away before cupping the perfection that were his ass cheeks. She was careful not to drag her hands up to the center of his back or the crux of his right hip—those were where the marks where. Even as he nibbled at her neck and she moaned, Barbie couldn’t help thinking they were scarring him in places no one would see. They were hurting him in a way that they could still sell him and it broke her heart.

But she gritted her teeth in angry determination. Crash belonged to her. No other woman or man would ever put their hands on him again. She’d see to that. If anyone else dared trying, she would kill them all.

“Darling?”

“Hmm?”

“Second thoughts?” Crash asked.

“Never.” She whispered.

Crash smiled and slid down her body, kissing a path between her breasts, down to her stomach then lower. He spread her wide and drank greedily from her. Barbie gave herself up to the fire, tangling her fingers in his hair and loving the feel of his beard against her skin. It tickled her thighs, making her sigh.

“Caleb.” She whimpered.

He licked at her, swirling his tongue around the most tender part of her body. She soared at his attention, floating blissfully over a volcano about to erupt. She pushed to her elbows, spread her legs wider and met his deep, brown gaze. That was her undoing.

Heat curled her insides, her thighs trembled in his clutches and she unashamedly, climaxed on his tongue. Barbie screamed his name, begged him or more then slumped back to the pillows, panting and whimpering.

“More.” She caressed his shoulder then up to the sides of his face. “More.”

Crash rose above her then reached for the condom she’d placed on the bedside table. She accepted his kiss, tasting herself tangy and hot on his lips. Without speaking, she peeled her body from his and stood on the bed. She then slipped to her knees to worship his frame. Her tour of his beautiful body started from his shoulders, across to his throat then down over his tattoo-covered pecs. “No matter what happens.” She whispered, dropping kisses to his nipples and loving the way he growled for her. “Your body will always turn me on. Your body will always be mine.”

He murmured her name but Barbie was busy swirling her tongue against the insides of his thighs.

“Sabine. Please.”

“Your wish…” She paused until after she’d flicked her tongue against the pre-cum covered head of his cock. “Is my command.”

After licking her lips, Sabine gave him what he pleaded for. She tasted him, pulled him to the back of her throat and nursed on him. Crash tugged at her hair, sunk his nails into the flesh of her shoulders making her burn with passion. She pulled him to the carnal brink only to push him back to land before leading him forward once more.

“You drive me—so crazy.” Crash sighed.

Barbie smirked as she used her mouth to roll the condom onto him. She met his gaze while rising over him, then easing down so he filled her slowly, completely. It was better than their first time together. She fell apart after two thrusts and wasn’t afraid to scream for her man. Barbie pulled Crash’s work-roughened palms to her breasts and he took it from there, massaging, pulling, pinching.

Tossing her head back, Barbie rode him. She allowed the primal sounds he made, his groan of her name and his hard body to drive her further and further to her second orgasm. But Crash had other plans. He wrapped an around her hips and flipped her to the bed. She squealed happily then moaned as he filled her hard and fast again.

“Mmm, Caleb.” She pleaded. “Hard…please!”

Barbie lost herself in Crash. She took everything he offered—his love, his body, his pleasure and she allowed it to drag her through one orgasm, into another. When she clamped around him a third time, her body arched upward, Crash leaned forward to roughly plunge his tongue into her mouth. She sucked on it and listened to him grunt his release. His body stiffened, then trembled violently.

Barbie didn’t let him go. She held onto him, kept her mouth under his and relish the sign of strength he showed her in that moment.

“You’re mine.” Barbie sighed. “Please, promise to be mine.”

Crash kissed her once, then twice, before lifting his head. “I promise—always.” He smiled. “I’m yours.”

Barbie giggled then allowed him to roll over and scoop her into his arms.

The next day after having a quiet lunch alone with Barbie, the two of them made their way into the center of Sank Agustin to meet with Ulrich Webber—the now acting head of GSG 9-CIRO. The man looked like an old battle-worn soldier. Though Crash was nervous as to what would happen, he needn’t be. Ulrich had questions about what transpired in Rotterdam and Crash’s request to adopt Anya and Eden. With that over, Barbie brought him to Doctor Wilhelm to begin his sessions with her.

An hour later, he left, after making appointments for Anya and Eden. Those two had been through hell and though Crash adored them, he knew there was no way he could help them get over being sold into sexual slavery by their parents.

Anya may not understand much of that because she hadn’t been introduced to the ‘life’ but Eden—Crash sighed and settled into the leather seat of Barbie’s car.

“How are you holding up, sweetheart?” Barbie asked.

“A bit tired,” Crash said. “I guess my body is still a little shell-shocked. “But I’m okay.”

“You’re still up to going to Miracle’s and Beast’s now?”

“Yeah. I want to see the girls.” Crash turned to look at Barbie. A patch on her neck was darker than the rest of her skin and he grinned. “Sorry about the love bite.”

She giggled. “Hey, you wear your scars like a badge of honor, leave my hickey alone.”

“You like when I do that to you?”

She glanced at him quickly then returned her eyes to the road. “You love me, Crash,” she replied. “This is a sign of that love. So, yes, I enjoy wearing your mark like badge.”

His cheeks heated. Since she was driving all he could do was reach over and squeeze her thigh.

“I don’t want you to go, Crash.”

“I know. I’m not going anywhere.” Crash shifted in his seat. “I’m staying here and raising Eden and Anya. I want them to be in a place where they are surrounded by love and people who will protect them.”

“Even if you go back home, they will have all of Wolf’s team looking out for them—especially Uncle Benny. Do you see how cute those little ones are?”

Crash chuckled. “Especially Uncle Benny.” He exhaled. “But your life is here, Barbie. And even though you haven’t asked me to stay—”

“I’m asking.”

He smiled. Crash had waited years to hear those words. By then they were pulling into Beast’s front yard. He waited until she’d parked the car before reaching across the middle to cradle her face. “The answer is yes,” Crash said.

Barbie smiled and for a moment, Crash merely stared into her face. He kissed her deeply, moaning as their tongues met and wishing he could merely readjusted the seats so he could sink into her tight, wetness. But the moment he deepened the kiss, cheers erupted from the front yard. He turned his head without releasing her to see the entire CIRO team, plus Benny and Miracle were standing on the front porch, applauding.

Crash laughed, kissed Barbie one final time before releasing her face. The two of them climbed from the car.

“Well?” Benny called. “What’s the verdict? Am I taking you back with me, Crash?”

“You have to ask?” Mouth questioned. “Look at the man’s face!”

“You were supposed to have been resting, Caleb Pope.” Pitbull called.

“Is that a hickey?” Zero pointed to Barbie’s neck.

Crash glanced over to see Barbie was shaking her head and smiling even as she walked into Pitbull’s outstretched arms.

“Leave my woman alone.” Crash grinned.

“You’re staying, right?” Beast asked.

“I’m staying.” Crash announced. “Where are the girls?”

“They’re sleeping,” Miracle said. “Come Barbie. You and I need to catch up.”

But Crash didn’t allow her to walk away immediately. He kissed her forehead, her nose and both her cheeks. “I love you.” He reminded her.

The smile she gave him then lit up his world.

“I love you too, Caleb.”
