Tempting Him: A Billionaire Beach Island Romance (Billionaires of Driftwood Island Book 3) by Sloane Meyers (11)

Chapter Eleven

* ABBY *

I woke up to a room that looked vaguely familiar. I blinked a few times, trying to chase away the sleepiness in my eyes and figure out where I was, since I definitely wasn’t in my own bedroom at home. After a moment, I saw that this was Zach’s suite at the resort. Zach wasn’t in the bedroom at the moment, but I could hear him humming from the suite’s living area. I smiled dreamily as the events of last night came back to me.

I was Zach’s fiancée now! I still had the ring on my hand. I hadn’t even taken it off to sleep, because I couldn’t bear to part with it. Zach Evans had asked me to marry him. I wasn’t sure how I’d gotten so lucky that my life had changed so much in the last week, but I wasn’t going to complain.

Not only had Zach asked me to marry him, but he had been responsible for the fact that a reporter from Vogue had showed up at the wedding. Apparently, Zach had given the magazine a call and told them that this destination wedding bucked all the trends in the best ways possible. Vogue had been intrigued enough to send down a reporter and photographer. I’d seen the extra photographer taking pictures throughout the night, but I hadn’t thought much of it. I’d just figured the second photographer was an assistant working for the main photographer. The reporter had loved the wedding, and had told me how refreshing it was to see something a little different from all the trendy weddings that were just clones of each other. She’d told me that she couldn’t make any promises, but that there was a good chance the wedding would be featured in the magazine. I told myself not to get my hopes up, but I couldn’t help daydreaming about how much my career would take off if my work was featured in Vogue.

Best of all, Bruce and Laura had loved their wedding. They’d thanked me profusely at the end of the reception, and promised to recommend me to all of their friends. The setbacks for this wedding had all turned out to be blessings in disguise, and everything had turned out exactly how it needed to be.

I hazily remembered coming back up to Zach’s suite last night. I’d wanted to make love to him all night long again, but I’d been exhausted. The last thing I remembered was lying down on the bed for a moment while he went to take a shower. I must have fallen asleep, because the next thing I knew I was waking up to the sunshine streaming in the window and the sound of Zach humming.

I stretched out lazily on the bed, then decided to get up and go see what Zach was up to. I was wearing cotton PJ shorts and a cotton PJ tank with no bra on underneath, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t curious to see how Zach would react when I sauntered up to him with my nipples poking against the thin fabric of the tank top.

He reacted just as I’d hoped he would. He was sitting at the table in the dining area reading a newspaper and sipping a coffee, but when he looked up and saw me, he dropped the newspaper immediately.

“Well, good morning,” he said, his eyes instantly filling with heat.

“Good morning,” I teased, sticking my chest out a little to accent my breasts as I leaned against the doorframe of the bedroom. “Sorry I fell asleep so quickly last night. But I was wondering if there was something I might do to make up for it now?”

He growled and rose from his chair, rushing over to me and scooping me up in his strong arms to carry me right back to the bed. I squealed with delight as he dropped me down onto the mattress with a bounce, and then started to tear off my tank top. He was hungry for me, and I got the feeling that he’d been counting down the minutes until I woke up so that he could make love to me. I definitely wasn’t going to complain about that. I wanted nothing more than to have him inside of me. I’d been craving him like crazy the entire week, and that craving had only gotten stronger when he asked me to marry him.

There was nothing stopping us now. Neither one of us had any obligations today, and I had a feeling we’d be spending most of this day in the bed right here in his suite. He had already removed my shirt, and was tugging off my shorts and underwear. I giggled and tried to squirm away so that I could get his pajama pants off first, but he was having none of it. He undressed me completely before allowing me to strip off his pants. Those pants had been the only thing he was wearing, and so then he stood in front of me in all his naked glory with a massive erection sticking out in front of him.

For a moment, we both were still, just taking in each other’s naked bodies. Zach looked down at me with blazing blue eyes, his gaze running from the very top of my head, down across my face, lingering on my breasts, sliding to my stomach, taking in the sweet space between my legs, and then running down across my legs themselves. I followed a similar pattern across his body, admiring his chiseled face, broad chest, muscular abs, stiff erection, and strong legs.

“You’re perfect,” he whispered, his voice suddenly holding an impossible amount of tenderness.

“No, you,” I whispered back.

He pushed me down onto the bed on my back and climbed beside me, letting his fingers trail across my nipples. I whimpered as he left a trail of sweet, tingling electricity everywhere his fingers had been, and I reached down to grab his shaft in my hands. I wanted to feel him, to see just how hard he was for me. I was already dripping wet for him, and my body was already filled with so much heat just from his gaze alone.

“You know,” he said, with the same tenderness deep in his voice. “I’ve been waiting all morning to fuck you. But I don’t want to fuck you right now. I want to make love to you. I want to love you with my body and show you how much you mean to me.”

I trembled at his words and tone. “I think I’d like that.”

He smiled, and moved his body so that he was right over me, his erection hovering over my slick entrance.

“Should I get a condom?” he asked.

I shook my head no. “I want to feel all of you. And besides, I’m ready to start our family together whenever you are.”

He smiled. “Good. I’m glad we’re on the same page about that.”

He leaned down and kissed my lips softly, and then, with one smooth motion, he slid inside of me.

I closed my eyes as he filled me, his stiff, thick erection pushing out against my inner walls and making room for itself. The fire burning in me grew hotter, and I moaned as Zach began to slide his hips back and forth. It felt like he was going deeper and deeper with every thrust. His chest grazed against my nipples, sending little shockwaves of pleasure through my chest as well. I opened my eyes to see that his face was only inches from my own. He had his eyes opened, and he was looking down at me with such love that I felt like I was melting from the inside out.

“I love you,” he whispered.

“I love you, too.” I could not look away. I could see the passion in his face as the heat and pressure within both of us grew. I had never felt so connected to a human being before. In that moment, we were the same person—emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

“Zach,” I whispered out desperately as I felt the pressure building to a climax. “I can’t hold back.”

“Don’t. Cum for me baby. Show me what I do to you.”

I held his gaze as my release overtook me. The heat of him inside of me, moving back and forth and hitting every sensitive spot with the perfect amount of pressure, was too much to take. My mouth was open as though I was going to say something, but no words came. Only a moan of delight as the fiery tremors took over. My inner walls spasmed and clenched around his erection inside of me, and he smiled down at me with pure joy.

Then, he joined me in my release. He let out a low growl, and then stiffened as he thrust deep, deep into me and held himself there, pulsing into me with nothing in between us. For several wonderful moments, we pulsed together with pleasure. I did close my eyes then, and let the ecstasy wash over me.

When finally our bodies began to calm, he did not pull out of me right away. Instead, he rolled over onto his side and pulled me with him so that we were still connected. I opened my eyes again and looked into his, thinking that I could not ask for anything more than this moment right here.

“I’m home,” he told me in a husky voice. “I didn’t even realize that I was missing a home, but I was. And when I’m with you, I’m home.”

I smiled at him and snuggled close, breathing in his scent. “I love you. I love being your home. And I love it when you make love to me.”

He kissed the top of my head. “Good. I love you too. And now that I’ve made love to you, I hope you’re ready for me to fuck you. Time to play a little rough.”

I looked up at him with wide eyes, and he laughed. “Don’t act like you don’t like it.”

He pulled out and flipped me onto my stomach, then started pushing into me from behind.

I was instantly hot all over again. This was going to be a long day in bed. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.
