The Billionaire’s Intern: An Older Man, Younger Woman Romance by Arlo Arrow (3)

Chapter 3

Gabe

Some part of me expected my dad to fuck up, but not to the point where he got himself arrested, and I was the only person left to pick up the pieces he’d left broken. I’d thought I had time to prepare myself to become CEO, but the job was thrust upon me. And I had to do a shit ton of work before that just to assure the FBI that I wasn’t in the know with my old man, or the whole family could have been in deep waters.

Then, when everything was finally in the clear, and I was heading into work for the first time tired off my ass, they're a bunch of bastards on the subway that I have to deal with. Of course, then I met Jasmine, and I was stuck in the combination of horny and being tired.

Getting her to go out of the office with me for a coffee, in spite of all her protests, was worth it, but no, I couldn’t stop staring at her. We’d stopped at a coffee shop that was a bit of a distance from work. I’d hoped it would relax her a bit, and it would get us away from prying eyes, but damn. She was sexy as hell, and I could barely concentrate on the conversation with how she had her legs folded, one over the other, raising her skirt a little higher up her thighs.

“Are you sure this is the best idea,” I heard her mutter. “We’re boss and employee. Isn’t there a regulation against that?”

I blinked my eyes as she brought me out of my staring. I gave her a smirk and took a sip of my coffee. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

She arched an eyebrow. “You’re the CEO aren’t you? You should know the rules of your own company.”

I shrugged. “I do. I got intimate with those rules over the past few weeks. There’s nothing that says I can't take my secretary out for coffee.”

She narrowed her eyes at my innocent tone. “You know that’s not what I meant.”

My eyes did another slow once over of her sexy body, and I shifted in my seat to readjust the growing problem in my pants. I was trying to pay attention, I was, but all I could think of was pressing her back against the closest surface, wrapping her sexy legs around my hips and fucking her until we were both exhausted.

Fuck. Too bad we’re in a coffee shop. And I’m a CEO now, so I can't even drag her off to the bathroom. It sets the wrong image, and the company suffered enough already.

I sighed at my thoughts. “Whatever you mean, Jasmine, there’s nothing against regulation in what we’re doing. There is if you’re against my advances. And if you are, at your say so, I’ll never do it again.”

She opened her mouth immediately, only to freeze with no words coming out. After a second, she snapped her mouth closed and furrowed her brows. She took a sip of her drink instead, looking down at her fingers drumming on the table.

I chuckled in amusement. She sent me a glare but didn’t speak, and it only made me laugh some more. Then I leaned my elbow on the table and braced my chin on my palm, my eyes going half lidded as I gave her another deliberate once over.

“You have such a lovely figure, Jasmine,” I murmured, meeting her eyes. “I’ve been thinking about it since I ran into you this morning. Your clothes frame it perfectly, but I’d like to see what you’d look like without them.”

I heard her sharp intake of breath, and I was pretty sure she wanted me back with the way her eyes were suddenly looking at me with interest.

“You’re a smooth talker, aren’t you?” she muttered. “You’re trying to convince me to do this.”

I arched an eyebrow. “You can always say no,” I pointed out. “I’m not going to force you, Jasmine. I’d like to know what you want to do.”

She opened her mouth again, only to snap it shut as she scowled. “Goddammit,” she growled to herself. “I can't believe I’m even considering this.”

“I’m happy that you’re thinking about it,” I said quickly. “Or else it would just be me, and that would be so fucking sad.”

She jumped a little in her chair, and I thought it was because she heard me curse. I could have laughed.

“I know you worked with my father for some time, from now on don’t expect things to be the way that they were before. I’m not my father; I’d like to think I’m very different from him, including in how we do things.” I gave her a slow smile. “You don’t have to put up your defenses with me.”

Jasmine narrowed her eyes at me as she leaned back in her seat and folded her arms under her breasts. I couldn’t help a quick glance down as the move had pushed her breasts up and I was very interested in looking at her, but I recovered quickly and met her eyes again.

“Different, how?” she asked, voice filled with suspicion.

“Because, my dearest Jasmine,” I said with a smirk. “I tend to get what I want. And what I want is you. You’re going to be mine, and you’re going to love it.”

Her eyebrows went up as she looked at me with disdain. “You’re full of yourself, aren’t you. Mr. CEO?”

I just chuckled at her snide tone. “Oh, but Jasmine, that doesn’t matter, because you’re going to be on board with everything. See, we’re going to fuck. And not just once.”

I leaned forward, and she did the same, almost unconsciously. At least, I didn’t think she realized she was even doing it. Her eyes were dilated, lips moist because she’d licked them, and parted as she took deeper breaths through her mouth. My smirk only grew in confidence, because whether she admitted it or not, she was obviously as attracted to me as I was to her.

“We,” I murmured, keeping my voice low and intimate, “are going to fuck very often, Jasmine. Every Monday morning just to start with.”

She gasped, arms falling to her lap. I watched as her face flushed a darker pink and she squirmed in her seat. Then she bit her bottom lip, eyes looking at me the same way I’d been looking at her body the whole time and she squirmed some more.

I grinned.

“Here,” I said, pulling a card from a pocket inside my jacket and dropping it on the table between us. “This is the name of a hotel. It’s very near here.” I stood up. “I’m going there and you will follow. I will not wait for you for more than five minutes, Jasmine.”

Her eyes held mine the entire time, but then they dropped to the card. Almost reluctantly, one of her hands slid onto the table to grasp onto the card and she dragged it to her side of the table.

I smirked. “The suite number is 2207. I like punctuality in my employees, Jasmine. I expect you to be on time.”

She read the words on it, then held the card pressed between her hands as she looked up at me from under her lashes, her lips pursed.

“You know, I could always report you. Technically, this can count as sexual harassment, and I get paid without having to work with you.”

I hummed, my eyes trailing down her face to her chest.

“Now, why do I doubt that?” I murmured. “Do you realize, Jasmine? I can see down your shirt. Because you had one button undone when you came into my office this morning, and right now, three more buttons are undone.”

Her eyes widened as she looked down at her shirt. I could have laughed at the look of almost betrayal as she glanced between her buttons and her fingers.

So I did, a laugh that had people turning their attention to us, but they were too far to listen to our conversation because I wasn’t broadcasting it.

“You didn’t even realize, did you?” I said as I shook my head in mock pity. She looked up at me, face flushed as she glared, but I only just smirked. “I’ll be expecting you,” I said in a parting shot.

I picked up my coffee and walked out of the shop in higher spirits than I’d been in when I left home that morning.
