Wakin' the next mornin' after getting' rid of Pixie, Dad's standin' at my bedroom door
“What the fuck?” I ask him
“You ok boy” I sit up a bit and look at him
“Yeah why?”
“Just checkin'”
“You’re just checkin'” I repeat, he looks a little nervous
“It's just...you know with Pixie” I sit up and look at him a little more
“Dad I'm good, it's not like she was the first person I've help put down”
“I know it just her bein' a woman and all”
“Fuck have you grown a vagina, you sound like a pussy” I smile at him tryin' to ease his mind
“Fuck you, Oki needs help at Pink Slip today so head over there” he tells me
“Alright” I tell him and lay back down
“Hay” he says and I look up again “You sure” I roll my eyes at him
“I'm fine”
“You sure”
“For fucks sakes, I'm fuckin' fine”
“Good” he says and goes to walk out but stops and looks at me
“I'm fine” he nods and walks out, killin' that bitch was fun and I slept like a fuckin’ baby

The car park is empty when I pull up to Pink Slip the club opened the place about two years ago and has been a great money maker for us. I see Jade and Bunny smokin’ a cigarette they look over at me as I get out of my truck, the weather way too cold for my bike “You two good” I ask them both and they nod “Oki man, where the fuck, are you” I say walking in the lights are on and its weird to see the place, it’s usually dark as fuck the only lights coming from the small table lights or the spot light on the stage. When I walk in further I see Cookie walking towards me
“Yo man” he says
“Where’s Oki”
“In the office, how'd it, go?”
“You know” he nods not sayin' anythin' else
“So, we got Two new girls comin' today”
“Two I thought we only needed one”
“Ones a stripper the other is going to do Jeremy's old job helpin' the girls get ready”
“Where the fuck did Jeremy go”
“Went to New York with his boyfriend got some job there and he left with him last week”
“Shit New York huh, so what are these new girls like”
“No idea Oki hired them yesterday and they haven't come in yet”
“So, what do you guys need help with”
“The bathroom in the back think there might be a leak or somethin'“
“Why didn't you look at it”
“You’re the one with the plumbers’ license”
“Fuck this better not take all fuckin' day”

“Yo fuckhead you in hear” I hear Colt from the hallway a couple of hours later
“Yeah in here”
“What the fuck happened here?” I look at Jaxson and shake my head, the fuckhead went to screw in one of the brackets for me missed and hit the fuckin' pipe makin' this job ten fuckin' times more work
“This dumbfuck” I point to the Prospect
“What?” he says
“What’d ya do dipshit” Colt asks him
“Fuckhead drilled right through a fuckin’ pipe”
“Oki called me” he says

“Forget it, what's up” I ask Colt
“You wanna get some lunch” I look at my watch (one o'clock)
“Yeah I could eat” I hand the Prospect the mope “Clean it all up for me comin' back fuck-knuckle” he nods at me lookin' around at the floor. We make our way to the Smokin' Grill for lunch and take a seat at the back booth

“So” Colt asks me
“So, what?” I say and he lifts his brow at me
“Don't be a fuckhead”
“It went as to be expected”
“You ok about it” he asks
“Fuck not you to”
“What?” he says
“Fuckin' Dad this mornin', askin' if I was ok” he looks at me
“He's your old man dude of course he's ganna worry”
“I know it's just, it's not like I haven't done this before”
“Come on man you know it's different this time”
“Why cause she's a woman”
“Yeah man, cause she’s a woman”
“I'm fine man”
“Are you” I look straight at him
“Yes, I'm fine” I say very calmly
“Ok, So your still comin' over for Christmas right”
“Yeah man me and Dad you know that”
“I know it's just the first one with my own family” he smiles
“Dude your sounding like a pussy”
“Fuck off”
“I think Niya's stolen your balls man, cause you sound like a woman lately with all this love and bullshit comin' outta ya mouth”
“Fuck you, asshole” he says, givin' me the finger and I laugh
“That's the hard motherfucker I know”

When I get back to the club I see Oki sittin' at the bar “Where the fuck, have you been?” he asks me
“Lunch” I tell him
“For a fuckin' hour”
“Yes, fuckstick, I was digestin' my food and enjoyin' my company” I give him the finger as I walk past him, back into the girl’s bathroom
“Yeah well hurry the fuck up that bathroom needs to be done by the time the girls get here” he yells out to me but I just walk back to the bathroom and get back to work
