Chapter One

Leonardo Cole, Leo to his friends, stared out in the garden where his little girl was running around. He didn’t mind seeing his baby girl, Grace, laughing and playing. It was about time that she had some fun. At five years old, she’d been through so much. The messy divorce, the custody fight, and the guilt of picking him, and not her mother. His ex-wife had been many things, but loving and maternal she was not. She would rather dump Grace on anyone than take care of her. All she had been interested in was herself, so it had been easy to get his daughter.

Watching Grace play was fun, and he couldn’t help but smile. His daughter wasn’t his problem. His problem was the brunette chasing after her, the nanny. Cassie Owens was thirty years old, divorced, and now the caring nanny of his little girl.

There was nothing wrong with her, nothing at all. She was sweet, tender, loving, everything he wanted for his little girl.

What he hadn’t expected was his reaction to Cassie.

Whenever he was in her company, his dick thickened, and he thought about her completely naked. The most important part, he thought about her on his dick, be it her mouth, pussy, or ass. He wanted her. Even now, watching her in that white sundress chasing after his little girl, he wanted to pull her away, and fuck her until all the goodness was gone from her.

He adjusted his cock so that it was no longer painful.

Calming down was going to be a priority if he was to go outside on the hot summer’s day to join his family.

Cassie finally caught Grace, and they rolled to the ground, and he saw them both laughing. Then Grace turned, and rested her elbow on Cassie’s stomach.

This was another thing he loved about Cassie. She was so fucking curvy that it was next to impossible to keep his hands off her. She had full hips, rounded stomach, and heavy looking tits that pressed against the front of all of her shirts. She rarely wore figure hugging clothes, but on the days she did, he was always in for a treat, and a nightmare.

Just go out there.

Leaving his office, he nodded to his housekeeper, and then headed outside. Since hiring Cassie, he had found himself coming home more and more often just to be around. He had noticed that if he was home, and it was lunchtime, she would come and find him with a sandwich or something she had prepared.

The moment he was in the garden, Grace screamed his name.

“Daddy!”

She ran toward him, and he bent down and picked her up. “There’s my girl. How are you, baby girl?” He pressed a kiss to her neck, and she giggled.

“I’m doing okay. Cassie is so funny. Will you chase us, Daddy?”

He glanced over at Cassie, who was smiling. Her long brown hair was trailing down her back, and she was panting, the deep breaths highlighting exactly how blessed she was in the tit department.

“I’ll give you a few minutes.” He placed Grace on the ground. “I’ll count to ten.”

His baby girl ran away, and Cassie just stood there watching.

“Ten.”

“Nine.”

“Eight.”

Still she hadn’t moved.

“Seven.”

“Six.”

Again, she hadn’t moved. “Do you want me to catch you so easily?”

“I’m sorry,” Cassie said, looking a little surprised.

“I’m doing the chasing, and with you standing right there, it isn’t going to be very hard to catch you.”

“You’re kidding me, right?” she asked.

“Five.” He raised his brow, waiting.

“Four.”

She swallowed.

“Three.”

Yeah, she ran, and he was more than happy about that.

“Two.”

“One.”

The moment he screamed one, he heard Grace squeal in that adorable kiddy way that she did.

He didn’t head off toward his little girl. No, he went after Cassie.

It had been a long time since he had chased after any woman, but he had a feeling he was going to have to work hard with Cassie. She had already been broken by her husband, and now it was up to him to build her right back up.

The moment he rounded a garden statue, he found her rushing near the garden house. Running, it took him a matter of seconds to catch her.

He caught her hand and pressed her against the hard wood house.

“Got you.”

She took a deep breath, and nodded. “You did.”

It had been six months of torture, and he was growing tired of keeping his hands to himself. Touching her cheek, he stared at her plump lips.

“What are you doing?”

“I’ve got to have a little taste.” He slammed his lips down on hers, and she gasped. Sinking his fingers into her hair, he kissed her even harder, plunging inside her mouth as she’d opened them when she gasped.

She tasted like chocolate and coffee, the perfect combination to him, and one he was always going to associate with this moment.

“Daddy, find me.”

He pulled away, and smiled at Cassie. “It’s time for me to go and catch my other girl.”

Turning away, he ran off to go and find Grace.

****

She was his girl?

Staring at the tomato sauce that she had been stirring, Cassie remembered the kiss that still felt like it bruised her lips. Touching her mouth, she wondered if the housekeeper, Nancy, had been able to see that she had been thoroughly kissed.

Cassie was thirty years old. The last thing she should be thinking about is that silly kiss. But it wasn’t just any kiss at all. It was so much more. He’d held her tightly against him, and she’d felt his cock pressing against her stomach.

After coming out of a rather loveless marriage, she didn’t know what to expect. Daniel, her ex, had told her repeatedly how much he despised her and How disgusting her found her, which she heard on a regular basis.

No one wanted a fat wife, an ugly wife. A woman who enjoyed cooking wasn’t something he wanted. Why couldn’t she go on a diet?

Her husband hadn’t been a very nice guy in the end. The final straw for her, and why she’d finally ended the marriage, was walking into their bedroom to see his cock balls deep inside his secretary. Cassie hadn’t been sad. If anything, she’d been relieved. How crazy was that? She had been happy that it was finally over. Every time she thought about leaving, something had always held her back.

It must have been fate that at the same time she was getting divorced, a job for a nanny had come right up.

She loved kids, wanted an entire flock of them, but Daniel hadn’t wanted kids. He’d told her many times that her body was already a mess, so why would she want to add to that problem with kids. She had stretch marks, cellulite, and rounded flesh that you’d never see on any magazine.

Never in her life had she been model thin. Always with the curves. She had tried to diet, and the food was disgusting. She couldn’t sit eating celery all day, that was just boring, and not fair. She’d tried the special milkshakes, the diet that only allowed her to eat fat, taking out the carbs, cutting back and going all cabbage, nothing but soup. How was that a way to live the one life that she had?

Then Leo Cole had entered her life, and everything seemed to be more than fine. Yes, she noticed that he watched her, but wasn’t that what all guys do? He was also a father, a very loving father. Her mind was a mess, totally not prepared for someone like Leo.

Besides the fact he was rich, a good father, he was also sexy as well. Not just sexy either, handsome, gentlemanly at times, too. In fact, he was everything she had ever fantasized about and more. Still, a woman like her never got what she desired anyway.

Cut the silliness.

Get to work.

Stop your daydreaming.

She had a job, an in-house job.

Her divorce was final.

Everything was going well in her life. She was in a good job, happy, and for the first time, content.

“Do you want me to do anything?” the person plaguing her thoughts asked.

She glanced over her shoulder, and there stood Mr. Sinful, looking every bit as gorgeous now as he had in the garden.

“Erm, you could put the salad together if you like. I’ve chopped everything. Don’t forget the grapes. Grace loves grapes.”

She stared at the pot of meatballs.

“It smells amazing here.”

“Thank you.” She loved to cook, and was so happy that Leo had said that she could cook whenever her heart desired it, which was often. She wanted to know what that kiss was all about.

“You’re brilliant with Grace.”

“She’s a wonderful girl. You’re so lucky.” She adored that little girl so much.

“I was lucky to have her, considering the woman she came from.”

She had been told everything there was to know about his ex. His housekeeper, Nancy, had told her a great deal of stuff as well. Leo’s ex was a miserable woman, a spiteful woman who hadn’t cared at all about Grace. She had done nothing to care for her, so Leo had made sure to take care of her, to love her.

“Are you going to continue to ignore that kiss?” he asked, startling her.

She turned to face him, and he was smiling at her.

“It shouldn’t have happened. It was a mistake. I love this job, and I don’t want anything to come between that love.”

After he finishing mixing the salad, he wiped his hands on a towel, and moved toward her.

She watched him moving like a predator that was after his prey. “Your job will always be fine, Cassie.”

Glancing down at the floor, she just wanted everything to go back to the way it was. She wasn’t used to this kind of attention.

“I don’t feel comfortable with this,” she said.

He stopped a foot away from her. The distance just didn’t seem far enough to her.

“I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable, Cassie. Far from it. To me you are one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. Your beauty is inside and out to me.”

She looked up at him, wondering if he was lying. Staring him in the eye, she saw he was, in fact, sincere.

“That kiss was everything. I want to do a lot more to you, but first I think it’s only fair that I get you used to my presence.” With that, he smiled, reached out, and stroked her cheek with one finger. “Don’t worry, I can wait. I’ve got the patience of a saint.”

Why did she feel he was lying about that?
