Train: A Bad Boy Sports Romance by Autumn Avery (16)

It took me a bit to realize I had other things to do that day rather than lay there naked with Trevor.

The world is a cruel place.

After wiping myself down and getting dressed again, we had a few more minutes before I had to go sit in on Professor Hatch's next lecture, and Trevor had to go off to another class.

Ever since we finished? There's been a definite uneasy silence between us. He wasn't thinking about football, I knew that much.

I couldn't resist him, I realized. I'd failed, and I failed horribly. I meant to keep my legs closed around him. Be professional.

As soon as he dropped his sob story? As soon as he proved to me he wasn't just a dumb, mindless jock? Legs flung open, ready to take another unprotected load inside of me.

God, I felt like such a slut. I even called myself that. Granted, I insisted that I was only his slut, but that still makes me a slut.

"So," he said, pacing around. I think at this point he was hoping the glow of having just fucked would wear off him. He too knew that our relationship couldn't exactly be screamed out to the world.

"So?" I mimicked.

"Tomorrow then? I'll keep up the studying. Just keep pointing me where Hatch wants me to go."

"I will. It looks good for me if you pass with flying colors, you know."

"Don't want to let you down, babe." He winked. Then looked confused again. Bouncing between flirtatious and being professional. Why was this such a pain in the ass?

"Good. If you fail, I'll kick your ass."

"Sounds kinky."

"It won't be in the kinky way."

“Maybe we should try the kinky way."

"Maybe we shouldn't."

More silence. Really, where was I expecting this to go? Did I think I was going to end up hearing wedding bells?

With a sexy as fuck jock football player? Who was my student?

This was all going to make some therapist a whole lot of money, I figured.

"I guess I should get going," Trevor said as he picked up his books. "Mayer gets pissy if you're late, and late to him is any later than five minutes early."

"Believe me, I've had that type of professor, too, don't worry."

"I'll... I'll see you later then."

I nodded. Fuck, what was I going to do with all of this?

He left me behind, and I gathered my own things.

I then almost jumped out of my shoes.

"Ah, Ms. Casey," an old voice said. "I see you just finished with Mr. Richards."

"Finished with him?" I turned toward Professor Hatch like I was a deer in headlights. "No, I didn't finish him, I don't know what you're talking about."

He raised an eyebrow. He had apparently sneaked in behind me shortly after Trevor had left. "You finished your catch-up lesson with him, no?"

"Oh, that. I thought you meant something else."

"What else would I mean, Ms. Casey?" He looked me up and down. "Why are you so sweaty?"

"Um, I just had my jog. Before class."

"And you're still sweating?"

"Um, yup."

"You should see a doctor about that. Sweating that much that long after exertion seems like it could be evidence of a severe glandular problem."

There was no glandular problem. I was just unsure if I was sweating from the rigorous exercise I had done with Trevor or from nervousness of being on the fringe of being caught. "Thank you for your concern, Professor."

"You're welcome. Good body health is important to keeping a mind healthy as well."

"I totally agree," I replied, exaggeratedly nodding.

"Now, how is Mr. Richards coming along? Is he picking up on what he's missed?"

"Oh yes. He's taken right to it. He's actually been studying in his off time. I think he's reasonably bright, he just fell behind on the effort aspect. I don't think he'll have any trouble getting a passing grade on his make-up midterm. He's driven to get back out on the field." Honestly, I was surprised that the words I were saying were genuine and had nothing to do with the fact that he had given me the most mind-blowing orgasm in my life moments before.

"Good, good. You never know with these athletes. Most of them are dumb as bricks, but it's nice to see one who will actually try."

"Trevor is definitely the latter, Professor."

He nodded. "Come. I have an important lesson to discuss today, about how writers in Chaucer's day even called him a hack, exploring how things change the more they stay the same."

I chuckled, and followed along.

"Although you do have about ten minutes." He sniffed me. "You might want to run yourself through the shower. You are allowed to use the women's locker room as faculty, you know."

Pure blush filled my cheeks. "Um, yes sir, I think I'll go do that. I didn't have time after my jog. Sorry."

"Oh, don't apologize. You have a condition, after all."

"You mean the glandular thing? Aren't you jumping to conclusions?"

"A healthy young woman like you really shouldn't be sweating so much it affects your hygiene. Take care of yourself, Ms. Casey."

Shaking my head, I let him go ahead of me. My only condition was falling head over heels in love with my fucking student, of all things.
