Bubbles: Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club, Book 12 by Candace Blevins (10)

Lexi

I couldn’t believe Bubbles made me do my homework before we left, but I didn’t bitch because I knew he was right.

The rest of our day was magical. The ride on his bike, followed by pushing myself to the edge of my endurance in the woods on the side of the mountain. Of course, he wasn’t even a tiny bit out of breath while my legs burned and trembled, and I sweated and gasped for air. He has to weigh two hundred and fifty pounds more than me — how the fuck was that possible?

We were still a long way from his bike when I had to take a break, and I sat on a boulder with a nice view of the valley below.

“I can carry you the rest of the way.”

He was dead serious, but it only ticked me off. “No, asshole, I just want to take in the view for a while before we hike the rest of the way back to the top.” It’d come out snappier than I intended, and I sighed and added, “Sorry. Sit with me?”

He grinned and sat behind me, so I could lean against him, but asked “What are you sorry for?”

“For snapping. I like to think I’m in decent shape, but you aren’t even breathing hard!”

“So, you aren’t sorry for calling me an asshole?”

I smiled. He was teasing me. “Nope. Not even a little.”

My hair was in a high ponytail, and I guess my bare neck was just too much for him, because his lips brushed it once before kissing it, and my clit came to life as if it’d been hit with electricity. I wanted to squirm on the boulder and squeeze my legs together, but I forced myself to be still. I hadn’t told him I was ready for more yet, was he going to back off or keep going? I was both relieved and disappointed when he sat up and snugged me into him, apparently finished teasing me to distraction.

“You told me once you didn’t want to talk about whether you’d been spanked by a boyfriend.”

I surprised myself by practically growling at him, but he was just going to keep asking until I told him. “It was stupid. We worked for a fast food place and he swatted me with a clean spatula, just kidding around, and I kinda liked it. Wiggled my butt, or whatever. He never did it again, but I kind of wished he would. Nothing major, and I wasn’t lying when I said I hadn’t been spanked because a swat at work shouldn’t count, but… whatever.”

“I’m glad you told me. I think you’ll love a fun spanking, if we ever get there. What did you talk to your sister about this morning?”

This was my chance to tell him without having to just bring it up out of the blue. I froze at the very idea of offering myself again, but forced myself to relax.

“I told her I was going to tell you I wanted more, and she was going to have to be okay with it.”

“Will she be okay with it?”

“She worries. She wants me to be happy, and if she can’t see a clear path to it, she’ll want me to find another way. It’s just the way she is.”

No one spoke for at least a minute, and Bubbles finally asked, “Was that you telling me you’re ready for more, or was it just you letting me know you’ll tell me when you’re ready?”

I closed my eyes, took a breath, and answered, “The first. I mean, not here, but… whenever you’re ready, so am I.”

His deep, self-assured chuckle vibrated behind me. “Okay, Half-pint. There’s a place on the mountain that makes their own ice cream. You never know what flavors they’ll have, but everything’s good. I vote we get ice cream, pick up a barbecue take-out feast from the little roadside stand at the foot of the mountain, and then take a shower together before we eat once we’re home.”

I’d only thought my clit woke up before. My heart raced, and I felt every thrumming beat between my legs. I wanted this man over me. Inside me. I wanted him to claim me, hold me.

Love me.

The last part scared the fuck out of me, and I tried to banish the thought from my mind, but there it was. I was falling in love with the big, scary biker.

“Ice cream and barbecue sounds good, and I suppose we could save water by showering together.”

He put his mouth to my ear, and his voice vibrated low against it. “Saving water isn’t anywhere on my radar, Half-pint.”

The ride down the mountain was a little more thrilling than the ride up, but I was never scared. The huge man in front of me on the roaring bike was such a contradiction. He was a felon, and a biker, but we’d parked in the driveway of a mansion near Pointe Park. He’d said the people who lived there were friends and I’d believed him, but had still been a little surprised when kids playing in the backyard had come running to him for hugs when we’d returned for the bike.

One of the little girls was the same one who’d come into his backyard the day before, and she screamed, “Look Mommy! I told you Bubbles has a girlfriend! That’s her!”

Bubbles set the little boy on his shoulders, and lifted a girl in each arm. “Lexi, this is Hunter, Sapphire, Emmy, and their mom Sophia.” He looked at the mom. “Thanks for the use of your driveway. We had a nice hike.”

“Don’t mention it. Would you like something to drink?”

“No, but thanks for the offer. We still have water in our bottles, and we’re about to go for…” he must’ve decided saying we were going for ice cream in front of the kids was a bad idea, because he changed in midstream. “We have early dinner plans.”

She looked at me with warmth in her eyes, and I instantly liked her.

“It’s nice to meet you, Lexi. There’s a bathroom to your right as soon as you go through the doorway below the deck.”

I’d had no idea how she knew I needed to go, but I thanked her and accepted the offer. Those kids were so lucky. I wasn’t sure I’d ever been as happy or innocent as they seemed.

Bubbles and I both had to give the kids goodbye hugs, and I was a little surprised when Sophia hugged me, but I hugged her back.

“I’m not an ol’lady,” she told me, “but I’m friends with most of them. I look forward to getting to know you better.”

“Thanks. Everyone’s been so nice and made me feel welcome.”

I’d wondered how we’d get the food home on the bike, but the little barbecue stand apparently knew how to box everything up so it’d fit. Bubbles ran the straps side-to-side and front-to-back to hold it on the back, and we were once again on our way.

Now, we were pulling into Bubbles’ driveway, and I was suddenly nervous.

I fiddled with the helmet strap a few seconds, and Bubbles brushed my fingers away to take it off for me. “Shower, then food.”

I nodded. The ice cream had taken the edge off my hunger, but I was surprised he was willing to wait to eat. He’s big, but he still puts away twice what I’d expect him to. I had no idea how he’d survived prison.

“Did you starve when you were inside?”

His eyes scanned my face, almost as if he were evaluating me, and he finally said, “I got a monthly salary from the MC while I was inside. You can’t ever tell anyone, but I went inside protecting the club, so the club took care of me. I had them put a quarter of it in my prison account and the rest into savings. I had plenty of money for the commissary. I bought a lot of extra food.” He shrugged. “They handled the transactions that allowed me to buy a few guards, too.”

“It really is like your family, isn’t it? Maybe closer. A lot of families don’t take care of their people that well while they’re away.”

“They are, and you need to know I’ll answer a call from the control room even while we’re havin’ sex.” He stroked my cheek and pushed a strand of hair out of my face. “If they call, I’m needed, and I’m always there for my brothers.”

“I get it, but unless there’s a reason to be worried, or it’s later than she’d usually call, my sister can wait until we’re finished.”

Once we were in the house, he put the barbecue into a dish, splashed a little water inside, put a glass lid on it, turned his oven to warm, and put the dish inside. The baked potatoes and huge slabs of buttered toast went into another pan with a lid, the baked beans went into another, and the coleslaw went into the fridge.

“You’ve done this before.”

“Not with you, Half-pint.” He lifted me in his arms and I relaxed into them and against him. I was getting used to him carrying me around like an infant. He was careful not to bump my head going into the bathroom, settled me back on my feet, and pulled his shirt off.

“First one naked and in the shower gets to control the water temperature.”

He leaned over, and I realized he was going to have to fuck with his riding boots while I could just slip my tennis shoes off. I had them off and my jeans puddled on the floor while he was still unlacing the first boot. Under normal circumstances I’d have been horribly shy about taking my undies off, but he’d made it a race and I’m pretty fucking competitive, so I stripped and was in the shower before he had his jeans off.

“We’re going to need to get you some proper riding boots,” he said with a laugh. “And your little ass is adorable.”

I noted he hadn’t mentioned my boobs. My sister hogged them all for herself, and there weren’t any left by the time I came along. I’m not completely flat chested, but not far from it.

My gaze went straight to his cock when he opened the shower door and stepped in. I couldn’t help it.

He was hairy as fuck, and it was hanging, semi-hard, and huge. I reflexively took a step back, and then felt my cheeks go hot when he said, “My face is up here, Half-pint.”

I met his gaze and saw he was teasing me again. I wanted to ask if he’d ever not fit, but I didn’t have the nerve.

“No fear, sweetheart. We’re just gettin’ to know each other right now. When it happens, it’ll be good. Promise.”

I took a cleansing breath and let it out. I believed him, but… “Ummm. No butt stuff. Right?”

“Not today.” His grin told me he was teasing me again, but I had a feeling it was all he’d promise to, even in jest. It would have to be good enough for now. We needed to talk about it, but later. It could wait.

His fingers traced the tattoo at my hip, but he didn’t ask.

I took a breath and explained. “Growing up, I always felt black, but looked white. I didn’t fit. Mama and Etta are dark — they fit into the hood, but I never did. I have their hair and eyes, but…” I shrugged. “So, the zipper’s open to show the dark skin it feels like I should have. It’s like I’m wearing someone else’s skin, and the black skin is hidden.”

I shrugged again and looked at our feet. “Etta’s name is Elizabetta Alexus, and my mom couldn’t be bothered to come up with a different name for me. I’m Alexus Elizabetta. Her opposite. Wrong. I think she meant for it to be a reason for me to hate her, growing up, but it made us closer. It’s always been us against the world.”

“You talked different around your mom.”

“I stopped talking ghetto after I went into foster care. I didn’t mean to, it just happened. My mom gets pissed when I talk white, and we didn’t need to give her another reason to bitch.” I took a breath. Maybe I was oversharing, but I needed to explain this or the tattoo wouldn’t make sense. “The pastels in my hair make me look even whiter. It wasn’t my intention, but it’s probably the look I’ll need to keep for the kind of job I want. Etta says it isn’t selling out, it’s just part of figuring out who I want to be when I grow up.”

He cupped my cheek in his hand. “As long as who you are on the inside doesn’t change, the outside don’t matter. I claim the white parts of you and the black parts. You’re mine. All of you.”

His words hit me in the gut. I hadn’t realized I’d needed to hear them, but I had. I didn’t trust my voice, so I could only stare at him and hope the water from the shower covered the fact my eyes got all watery.

He lifted an odd-shaped, off-white bar of soap and showed it to me. “I buy it from someone local. It’s all natural and unscented. I’m glad you don’t wear perfume. The only thing I’ve smelled is your shampoo or conditioner or whatever, and it doesn’t smell of fake scents, thank goodness.”

“Do you have asthma?”

He chuckled. “Nope, just a good sense of smell. I don’t like fake shit.” He’d lathered his hands while he talked, and now he turned me and massaged my shoulders with his slick, strong, soapy, and oh-so-talented fingers.

My groan echoed throughout his large shower, and I leaned my forehead against the tiled wall.

“My hair stuff is made for color treated hair. It isn’t all natural, but it’s gentle. Nothing harsh.”

“How old were you when you lost your virginity?”

“Seventeen.”

“You’re nineteen now?”

“Yeah.”

“Did he make it good?”

“It wasn’t terrible. I don’t kiss and tell.”

“Good to know, but I need to know how experienced you are. Just the one guy?”

I shook my head. “I dated him four months before we… you know, but we broke up about two months after our first time. My rebound guy was an asshole, but he was a lot better in bed than the first guy.”

“Anyone else?”

No, and I didn’t want to answer his question, but he wasn’t going to let me just be quiet. Finally, I admitted, “This is embarrassing. I know you’ve probably been with hundreds of women, and I’ve been with two guys. How can I hope to…” I stepped away from him, kept my back turned, and crossed my arms. “Fuck, maybe this is a bad idea.”

He was suddenly behind me, his arms around me, his mouth at my ear. “You’re fine, Lex. We’re fine. I’ll be gentle until it’s time to stop being gentle. I promise it’ll be good.”

He turned me and put my hand on his cock. “Explore me. Use the soap if you want, or just water. No mouth, just your hands. The object isn’t to get me off, but for you to have something to play with while I get you clean.”

When I first put my hand around him, my fingers met my thumb, but thirty seconds later he was standing tall and proud, and it was too big around for them to touch. I traced around the head, got a little soap on my hands, and ran my hand from top to bottom a few times. He’d said the object wasn’t to get him off, so I dipped to explore his balls. Meanwhile, he’d opened my shampoo and started washing my hair. His fingers were fucking magic on my scalp, and I went back to stroking his cock. I used both hands, one at the bottom the other at the top, and twisted them towards each other and then back away — and silently rejoiced when his low, deep-throated moan filled the shower compartment.

He washed and conditioned my hair while I played, and then sat on the bench with me on his legs, facing him. He lathered his hands again, put them on my shoulders, and slowly rubbed his way to my nonexistent breasts.

“Mama says I should be saving my money for a boob job.”

I was mortified as soon as it came out, but I couldn’t take it back.

Bubbles

It was on the tip of my tongue to say her mom was a washed-up junkie whore and her opinion didn’t matter, but instead I told her, “Don’t like fake shit. You’re perfect.”

I put my left hand between her shoulder blades to support her, and used my right pointer finger and thumb to rub both her nipples at once. Her eyes closed, her body tensed, and I breathed in her spicy-sweet pheromones.

I have this thing where I get pissed off when people are scared of me if I don’t intend to hurt them, which never helps the situation. However, my Half-pint’s fear earlier had been more trepidation than terror, so she didn’t get on my nerves with it.

She had zero fear at the moment, though, despite the fact my hard-on between us came up to her rib cage. No way could I sink all the way into her pussy unless I went nearly twice as thick. Her ass might be a different story, but I wasn’t going to rush her. Much.

I couldn’t play around too much with the size of my cock until she knew I was a werewolf, but I hadn’t told anyone about me since getting out. Her sister had been told about supernaturals so she could better do her job — we cater to shifters and vampires, so we need to have a couple of girls available at any given time who know about them. Betty’s particular about the vampires she’ll feed, but she’s fine with wolves going fat in her ass and hurting her with the stretch.

Did I dare try binding Lexi without paying a vampire to be on hand in case she freaked? Probably not, but if Etta was with her, maybe.

I dipped Lexi back enough to rinse the soap from her chest, made sure I got it off my hand, and adjusted her so she was in the crook of my left arm. I traced my right hand down her flat belly, over her mound, and sank inside her with two fingers. I’d been teasing her for thirty minutes, so she was plenty slick despite the water.

Her eyes flew open, her legs spread, and her mouth formed an O.

I curled my fingers, found her magic spot, and had her screaming through an orgasm in under five minutes. My cock throbbed and hurt, but it wasn’t time so I ignored it. Even my wolf was on board with waiting until we had her in a bed and could be super careful. I stood with her still in my arms, turned the water off, and walked her out of the shower.

“Need to put product on my hair and put it in a towel.” Her voice sounded half-drunk, but I stood her in front of my vanity so she could do whatever she needed. I wiped her body down, then mine, and watched as she towel dried her hair, rubbed something through it, and then wrapped a towel around her head.

Her gaze met mine in the mirror. “I need clothes before we eat.”

I shook my head. “You can wear one of my shirts. No panties.”

“You’ve already given me two firsts.”

I had no idea what she was talking about. She turned around and stepped closer to me, and I wrapped my arms around her.

“I’ve never woke up beside someone before, well, besides my sister, but, you know what I mean, right? I’ve never slept all night with a man. Also, I’ve never been given an orgasm in the shower.” She chuckled. “No one’s ever carried me around like you do, either, so I guess that’s three things.”

I don’t usually enjoy teaching people about sex, but I found I was looking forward to giving my little Half-pint more first experiences.

I pulled a folded shirt from my stack and put it on over her toweled head. It said:

PANHEAD

SHOVELHEAD

KNUCKLEHEAD

GIMMEHEAD

I hadn’t realized which it was. It was literally just the next on the stack, but she looked cute in it. The damned thing came below her knees. She looked like a kid, but she was all woman.

I put on a pair of cut-off sweats and led her to the kitchen.

She put plates and flatware on the table while I pulled everything from the oven. She also got herself a beer, and two for me, as well as butter and sour cream, the coleslaw, and the container of barbecue sauce. I only had to sit down and eat once I’d moved the food over. We made a good team.

“You’ve asked me a lot of personal questions. Can I ask some?”

I’d have told any other woman to fuck off, but not my Half-pint. “Ask away. No guarantees I’ll answer.”

“How old were you when you… your first time.”

“Nine, with one of my mom’s friends.” She looked shocked, and I shrugged. “I was big for my age.” I smelled her indignation and anger, and I tried to keep from sighing. “She didn’t take advantage of me, so don’t even go down that road. We lived in a duplex, and she lived in the other half. My mom was a waitress and was never home at night. I stayed over there a lot, and Jackie was…” I shook my head. “She was a junkie. I took advantage of her — not the other way around, despite our age difference.”

“Was?”

I wasn’t sure what she was asking so I didn’t know what to answer. She tried again. “Your mom was a waitress? Does that mean she isn’t anymore?”

I shook my head. “She was killed when I was fourteen. Texas and Sparkie were foster parents, and they ended up with me.” Which wasn’t an accident. The Atlanta Master Vampire makes sure supernatural foster kids make it to supernatural foster parents. “Texas works in the Atlanta MC’s restaurant, and I waited tables for extra money when I moved in with them.”

“I’m sorry about your mom. What happened?”

“Drive by shooting. Wrong place at the wrong time. It was a long time ago.” I didn’t want to talk about my mom and needed to change the subject. I never tell anyone how I got my name, but figured it was time to tell her. “Bud’s the president in Atlanta, and his daughter was little when I went to live with Texas and Sparkie. Everyone called me Bubba back then, but she decided to call me Bubbles, and it stuck.” I shook my head. “Bash is married to Bud’s daughter. When you meet Angelica, you can tell her you know she gave me my name.”

Her phone buzzed and she looked at it. “My work schedule. Looks like I’m working every day next week, four until close. I’ll just have enough time to grab something to eat and do some homework in between, but the extra hours will be nice for my bank account.”

“What time do they close?”

“Eight during the week and ten on the weekend this week, but it varies. Sometimes they handle appointments up until midnight on the weekends, when we’re backed up on clients waiting. We’ve done it a few times during the week, but not often.”

“Okay, I’ll move my lunch so I can pick you up from school, eat with you, and take you to work. I can go back to the shop so I don’t get behind. I’m kind of my own boss, within reason. I mean, Bash is technically the manager, but as long as I make the deadlines I basically give myself, it’s all good.”

If I was going to be her transportation, I needed a code word in case a brother had to come get her. “If the MC should send me on a job — a club job — then someone else might have to pick you up. If that happens, I’ll try to text you to let you know, but I may not be able to. If someone tells you they’re coming to pick you up for me, they’ll call me Adam, not Bubbles. Okay? I’ll try to make it be someone you know, and the odds are good it might be Horse, but it depends on the circumstances.”

She swallowed her bite and took a drink, thinking. “Okay. I’m glad you think about this kind of thing ahead of time.”

“You’ll be able to do your homework okay? Working that much?”

She shrugged. “I don’t really have much of a life right now. It’s one of the reasons I try to go for a walk or hike on Sunday. I work and go to school, and there isn’t time for much else.”

“How much longer will you be in school?”

“You need four semesters — fall, spring summer, fall. I’ll finish next Christmas.”

The closer we were to the end of our meal, the more nervous she was. Not scared, thank goodness, but on edge. She’d have jumped out of her skin if I’d said boo.

I put the lids on everything we hadn’t eaten, put it in the fridge, and turned to see her loading our plates into the dishwasher. Within a few minutes, the kitchen was clean and she was fidgety as fuck.

I moved in to kiss her, but she pushed me back. “You’ll wear a condom?”

Fuck. She didn’t know I was a werewolf. I hate the damned things. “Yeah, I’ll wear a condom. Are you on birth control?”

“I don’t…” She looked up, met my gaze. “I don’t do this.”

“Okay, Half-pint. I’ll wear a condom. I’ll take care of you.”

She pulled away, turned, and walked towards the back of the house. “I need to use the bathroom first.”

I chuckled, got another beer for me and an ice water for her, took them to my room, and then positioned myself across the hallway from the bathroom she went in, so I could ambush her with a kiss the instant she opened the door.
