Three months later …
I don’t know what magic my mother and the rest of the OG Coven put into place, but the last few months have been low key to the point of normal, even boring at times.
Not including Madison, of course.
Nothing about her is boring. She’s incredible.
And I’m a lucky bastard.
After facing off with my father and finding the black book, I’ll take as much normalcy and mundanity as I can handle. A life more ordinary sounds good to me.
Under the protection of the coven’s magic, in between classes, both the college and witchcraft variety, Madison and I’ve dated like regular people. Nothing extravagant and mostly stereotypical stuff like movies and binging Netflix shows, but it works for us for now.
As soon as we pack up our stuff this weekend and move out of the dorms, the weight of our reality will return.
First, I have to get through graduation today.
Most unfortunately, my father will be in attendance.
I’ve avoided seeing him in person since December—our longest stretch ever and still not enough time.
During the commencement speeches that drone on forever about our bright futures and open roads ahead of us, my mind drifts to Madison. She is far more interesting than anything being said on the stage this afternoon. I know she’s somewhere behind me in the crowd, most likely sitting with my mother and Sam. Tate sits a few seats down from me. In my peripheral vision, I can see his knee bouncing, not from nerves but boredom.
This weekend we move to Boston and start working for the infamous Wicked Society. All four of us. I can’t wait.
Even being in the same city as my father and his impossibly pretentious club can’t deter my anticipation.
An entire summer with Madison in the same building, working together, living together, and sleeping, or not sleeping, together is my idea of heaven.
I don’t know what we’ll find out when we begin to study the book, or what dark magic we’ll have to fight. If we have to go through hell to end this conflict, Madison by my side will make it bearable.
Madison may not fully realize her powers, but now that she’s opened the doorway between the present and past it can’t be closed. Learning to control who and what slips through will be her hardest test. I wish we had more time.
What I am certain of is that Madison Bradbury is mine. No curse, no old grudge, or heart full of hate will break our bond.
So it is spoken, so it shall be.

When I first wrote Bewitched, it was a standalone short story. However, I fell in love with these characters and had to expand the series to keep telling their stories.
Because Bewitched was a short novella, I kept that format for all four books in this series. Writing short is fun, but limiting. After I finished Enchanted, I knew Charmed couldn’t be the end of Madison’s and Andrew’s story. I’m not ready to leave their world (and I hope you aren’t either!). While their love story is on its way to a forever HEA, their adventure is only beginning!
My new series, Wicked Society, will be launching August 2018 with Get Witch Quick, followed by Someday my Witch Will Come and then Four Witches and a Funeral.
We’ll see more of Andrew and Madison along with Tate and Sam, plus Sarah, Philips and the members of the Salem Coven, along with new characters. I’m so excited for you to read the Wicked Society books! Think light-hearted paranormal romance with a cozy mystery twist!
