House Rinna: The Vampire Enclaves by Black, Angel (7)

Chapter 7: Wolves

In her dream Sam wasn’t lying in bed, but running. Her long, toned legs leaped like a gazelle’s over the tall grass of the meadow she was running through, carrying her effortlessly. Above her the full moon lit the night sky brightly, making the meadow look like a lake of swaying silver. She was naked, and could feel the cool wet earth squishing between her toes with every step. Every time the pad of her foot landed, it was like the ground rose up to kiss her feet; as if it were grateful she was there. Behind her she heard the howl of a wolf, and a smile spread wide across her face.

Not one, but four of them were behind her. Not after her, but with her. They were flanking her so that two ran behind her and one ran at her left and right, protecting her. As a pack they ran through the seemingly endless meadow, not once getting tired or out of breath. They were children of the forest; too excited about life to feel fatigue.

Sam’s heart felt like it could explode with happiness, and when the wolves around her let out their howls, she lifted her head and howled with them. This was pure and unadulterated happiness, and it was hers. The wolves were hers too. Her very own pack, and she knew that she protected them just as much as they protected her.

As a unit they ran until the meadow turned to forest, and even then, they bounded into the thick of it. It wasn’t until they reached a circular clearing in the heart of the woods that the wolves began to slow and run closer to her, their fur caressing her thighs. When they stopped altogether, Sam just knew she was supposed to stop too.

In the middle of the circle bright, hot flames shot up from the ground, igniting the fallen branches there. Immediately a large fire was roaring, illuminating the trees surrounding them. Shadows danced in light, moving to a rhythm only those more than human could hear. Around her, the wolves shifted into men one by one. Sulma first, then Aruum, Taas and finally, Amaa. All of them looked at her with hungry eyes, as if ready to devour her at a moment’s notice. It was a gaze that made her nipples harden and her sex wet, and despite the warm night air, her body shivered.

“We’ve been waiting for you,” Taas told her, speaking first. His voice, so deep and masculine, had a hint of plea to it. “It’s been so long.” He took a step forward, his incredible green eyes shining with arousal.

“I don’t understand,” Sam rasped. “Why me?” Internally, Sam scolded herself. Did she really need to know the five Ws at this exact moment? It was so obvious that something intense was about to happen, and she wanted nothing more than to find out what it was.

“Because you belong to us,” Sulma told her, stepping forward.

“And we belong to you,” Aruum added.

“We’ve wanted you so badly,” Amaa told her. “Haven’t you wanted us too?”

Yes, she thought, her mind turning to Jell-O as the four closed in on her. She had wanted them all so badly. Maybe even before she had met them. Not one more than the other, but instead equally. Despite her wanting them though, she shook her head.

“Yes, but…I don’t know how to do this. I’ve never been in love with just one person. Now I have four all at once? I don’t even know where to begin,” she told them, feeling sad as she admitted it.

Sulma moved forward, his hands reaching for hers. She took them willingly, and allowed herself to be moved into his arms.

“Yes, you do,” he whispered, starting to move them into a slow dance. “It’s been inside you this entire time.” His naked chest, so pale and muscular, slid against hers.

“Start with me,” he continued, his voice soft in her ear. He reached for her hand, and guided it to the back of his neck. The moment her hand touched his skin she moved upward, twirling her fingers in his silver locks and scratching her fingernails against the back of his head.

“That’s it,” he urged, his eyes glowing with pleasure. “You know the way. Trust yourself.”

From behind she felt someone else’s naked body press up against hers, both of them cool to the touch, and very well defined. Looking up, she gazed into Aruum’s eyes, his aqua pools begging her to open her mind.

“I-I don’t know how to do anything,” she stammered, quickly running out of excuses.

“We can teach you,” Taas promised, coming closer. His lips, surprisingly soft, came down on her shoulder, pressing softly before incredibly sharp teeth pricked teasingly at her skin. She gasped in pleasure, and relaxed further into her pack’s arms.

“We want to give you more,” Amaa told her, his voice practically dripping with sex. “Do you want more?”

“Yes,” she panted, nodding her head. She wanted all of them in that moment. She didn’t care how, but she wanted them, almost desperately.

“Just take off the pendant,” Amaa whispered, his lips and teeth teasing her ear. “And we can be yours.”

“Take off the pendant,” they all murmured, the mouths placing gentle kisses across her shoulders, back, and collar bone.

Without even thinking Sam reached up and yanked the chain from her chest, tossing it as far from them as she could. Immediately, she felt Sulma lift her up into his arms only so that he could gently lay her down in the grass. As if welcoming her, the grass seemed to smooth itself down, creating a soft cushion for her back.

As one, all of them sank down onto the bed of grass together, lying next to her as their mouths began to tease and taste every part of her until she was whimpering with need for more. Sam had never felt so much pleasure building at once. It thumped through her veins like its own heartbeat, overpowering her sense of rationality. All she wanted, all she needed, was them.

Finally giving in, Sam reached for Aruum, the closest to her head, and pulled him down until his lips were sealed over hers. Erotic fire exploded through her like gasoline, burning hot and bright and fast as her first orgasm rocked her body intensely, making her cry out.

“More,” she rasped, reaching for Taas. “Please.”

He willingly obliged, capturing her mouth as Sulma spread her legs and delved his tongue into her moist, sensitive lips.

* * *

Gasping, Sam bolted upright as her actual body trembled in orgasm. Her juices trickled out of her like hot rain, soaking into her sheets and splashing her thighs. She was quite sure that she had fallen asleep with clothes on, and yet now she was stark naked. Looking around her, she saw that at some point in the night she must have peeled off her nightgown and threw it away from her.

Still trembling, she reached up to the back of her head, pressing gently. She felt no pain as she did so, so she decided to try and stand. Remnants of her dream still hung vividly in her mind, tempting her to go back to bed and call them forth once again. Instead, she gathered her discarded clothes, put them on the bed, and walked over to the heavily covered windows. Finding the golden cord, she pulled down it, and was taken aback by the brightly shining sun that met her. It was way past morning, which meant she slept much longer than she had hoped.

After her eyes adjusted, she looked down over the beautiful view from her window. The mansion’s grounds were larger than she had thought, and was home to a swimming pool/jacuzzi, a tennis court, a greenhouse, and a very familiar-looking meadow. Sam’s eyes widened as her heart began to race. The meadow was the same that had appeared in her dream, she was sure of it.

It was just a dream…right? She thought to herself. Shaking her head, Sam jumped in the shower. As she gave herself a speedy scrub, she checked herself for bruises, of which she found none. It settled her heart, but only slightly. Her dream still seemed a little too real for her. She was trying to figure out how to ask the guys questions without telling them about such an intimate dream when she came out of the bathroom and found a steaming tray of breakfast foods sitting on one of the bedside tables.

Scents of sausage, scrambled eggs, and toast filled the air, mixed with coffee, hazelnut, and watermelon. Her stomach growled loudly, and she realized she was famished. Still, her need to get a grasp on her new thoughts and feelings overcame her, and she ignored the tempting tray of food.

Right outside the door, she nearly tripped over a chair holding a sleeping Taas. His arms immediately shot out to catch when she all but toppled into his lap, rousing him from his slumber. His dark green eyes snapped open immediately as his arms went around her like a protective cage.

“Well, this is nice,” he greeted with a smile. He yawned, cracked his neck, and stood up to help Sam to her feet.

“How did you do that?” She asked, stunned.

“Do what?”

“Catch me. You were asleep, snoring even, but when I fell you just opened your arms to catch without even opening your eyes.”

“One, I don’t snore. Two, I guess I have good reflexes.” He looked her up and down.

“You look much better,” he told her, making sure she was steady before he let her go. “How are you feeling?”

Sam wanted to be distant, aloof even. But every part of her wanted to just sink back into his arms and answer his questions. She was practically trembling trying to fight it, but she needed to find some answers first.

“I’m fine,” she told him, pressing her hands into his chest and forcing herself to move further away. The muscles beneath the thin fabric flexed as she touched them, sending another shot of arousal through her.

Oh God, I have to get out of here before I make myself look ridiculous, she thought, changing her mind about talking to them until she was in better control.

“I have to go,” she told him, already heading towards the stairs.

“Are you sure?” He called after her. “You haven’t even touched your breakfast!”

Aside from his question he made no move to stop her from leaving however, which Sam found to be both a relief and a frustration all at the same time. In the kitchen she ran into Amaa, who had several brightly colored glass jars out on the island. In a large white ceramic bowl, he was mixing something with a wooden spoon that he looked up from the moment she entered the kitchen.

“Good morning,” he greeted, his voice low, calm. His ice blue eyes penetrating her brown ones, peering into her soul.

“You’re not staying?” He asked.

Sam opened her mouth to ask him how he knew that, but realized she wasn’t ready for the answer. Instead, she merely nodded her head.

Amaa nodded with her, then put down his wooden spoon and began wiping off his hands.

“Let me make sure you get home safe,” he suggested. She quickly shook her head.

“No. Thank you, but no. I really need some space to think.”

“Alright,” he agreed, casually. “Although I still promise you will be protected.”

Sam wasn’t sure what that meant, but she didn’t have any interest in finding out in that moment either. If she ran into one more of the handsome devils that lived in the mansion she was sure she would lose her nerve and simply stay. Not saying anything else, she left the kitchen and left through one of the side doors.

The walk had been crisp, and refreshing, but it did nothing to soothe the arousing vibrations that now seemed to consume her body. She’d never wanted sex, not like this. Sure, every few months or so she’d take out her battery operated toy for some relaxation, but she’d never felt this in need before. It was exciting, but also intimidating.

Back at her dorm, Sam slammed every textbook she had down on her desk and began pouring over them to figure out why she was feeling the way she was. As she did so her stomach growled in hunger, but she ignored it. Instead, she read. She read until the words blurred together and became a senseless jumble, then she read some more. Finding nothing, she left her books to browse the internet, looking for anything new on dreams or poly-type relationships. She found a ton on how to make dynamics work, but nothing on why her body suddenly seemed on fire, or why her dream seemed more like a prophesy than an intense delusion of a sex-deprived mind.

Finally, after hours of finding nothing, she left her desk and sank heavily down on her single dorm room bed. It was much more uncomfortable than the plush king canopy she’d slept in at the mansion, and after coming up empty-handed, she felt depressed and exhausted.

As she began to drift off once more, her mind went back to the night she fell from the tree. She had been listening to a conversation. One that was, surprisingly, about her. Her name was murmured from their lips softly, almost like a caress. As was the word beloved.

Sam found herself back in her dream, only this time everything felt wrong. The wolves chasing her were not her pack, but something else. They were darker, angrier; threatening to bite savagely into the naked flesh of her backside if she slowed down even a little. Their breath smelled foul, like rotting flesh caught between jagged fangs.

When they caught her, the earth became a desert. The moist, fertile soil of the ground dried out into cracked patties and the plants and trees of the forest died. Something large lifted her up by her neck, their long, sharp nails piercing her skin.

“Let go!” She screamed, struggling within his grasp. The monster’s teeth sank down then, closing in above her left breast to literally eat her heart out.

A piercing cry came from the creature as it reared its head back. Sam’s blood spilled down its lips as it curled back its lips into a gruesome smile. When it spoke, it sounded and felt like an earthquake. Low, grumbling, dangerous.

“Another beloved,” it said, its lime green eyes staring into her gleefully. “Where are you, beloved?”

“Amaa,” she screamed, though she wasn’t sure why. Fear overcame over her as the monster laughed.

“He cannot help you here,” the monster growled, and his teeth sank in once more.
