Six weeks later
***Jagger***
“Shouldn’t we try again?” Tessera asks.
I want to comment with ‘nothing to try, you practically jumped me for the second time in the last twenty minutes, and I’m ready when you are.’ But it’s the same question she’s been throwing at me off and on for days and weeks on end. It’s the question that occupies her thoughts on a regular basis.
I soften my voice in an effort to soften the damn blow. “You know what happened when we did so the first two times. He knows we’re here for backup, I know damn sure he will come when he needs it.”
Hope yet again drains her gorgeous face making my heart squeeze.
“I don’t understand why she doesn’t blink to come here. He’s holding her captive, you saw it for yourself when he showed his chest to let us see Tria was okay. She wouldn’t even turn to face us. The only thing we saw was the back of her freaking head, while she flipped us off! Well, not us, she was flipping him off, Tria clearly hates him. How do we even know she’s safe?” she presses.
“We don’t.” I cup her face and swipe away the stray tear that’s sliding down her cheek. “They are outlaws for a reason, Tessera. Alastair has reached out, you’ve asked Azrael, no one is able, or steps in to help us. We have no other choice but to wait for Vike to come to us. He was furious the last time Nixie summoned him and threatened to rain down his fury if we summoned him a third time. And think about it, Angel...we don’t have any new information or anything else since we last saw him, we can’t do anything else but wait for him to come to us.”
“I don’t want anything to happen to Nixie. She’s sweet and has helped me a lot to control my wings and evolve my powers. When we’re together with Velma and Eliana, she knows exactly how to combine our abilities and try things we’d never think of doing. You know...I really don’t think Derek thought this through so far...how we would be able to evolve into this...together.”
“You’re right. But like we said before, everything happens for a reason. I’m convinced putting stronger Paranormals on this earth was needed, even if the reasons for starting this was wrong. In the end it might be the only thing that can stop pure evil from ruining this earth.” My hand falls away from her face as I lean back and let my arm slide into the water of the hot tub.
“It is kinda funny though, us women, ready to save the world; a kickass version of girl power.” The smirk on her face is better than the sadness that was etched on there a moment ago.
“That’s right, love. And be sure to remember this because your sisters are strong. Tria will find a way to use this girl power, I just fucking know it.” Maybe not know for sure but I hope to fuck she does.
There’s a reason Azrael flat-out denied helping us. He kept stating how it’s a legend that needs to be played out. Not that it’s any reassurance but the things I’ve seen what these sisters combined can achieve does boost hope. But that fucking Vike doesn’t want any help so basically, it’s out of our hands unless said idiot reaches out. Or Tria...
“I like this.” Tessera sighs.
“What?” I turn my head slightly to see how her gaze is set on the dark sky which is filled with stars.
“You and me in the tub, nothing but silence surrounding us.” She sighs.
“Ah, you mean without having grandpa’s eyes on us.” I snicker, making her dash up to hold an arm in front of her naked breasts.
“Jagger!” she scolds. “Way to ruin a moment here. He’s not tuned in, right? Tell me you’re kidding.”
A bark of laughter rips from my throat. “I haven’t felt a vibe of being watched for weeks, Angel. Relax, it’s just us, the tub, and silence surrounding us.” I reach out and pull her close. “And the thick need to have you again.”
“Thick need?” She groans as she straddles me. “It’s thick alright.”
“Angel?” My breath rushes out in a hiss between my teeth.
“Hmmmhmmm,” she moans in response.
“Remember I told you how all Vampires are meant to be born, not created?” This makes her halt in the middle of sliding down my dick, dammit...me and my big...mouth.
“Why are you reminding me? Now?” Her response causes me to smirk and results in her to snap, “Shut up.”
To be honest, I would like nothing more than to shut up and let her take me again. Yes, that’s right...take me for the third time. And that’s just it, her insatiable driven lust is what made it click inside my head what’s happening between us.
“This is the third time you’re on top of me in less than half an hour, Angel.”
She sinks down and tries to ignore me by speeding up her rhythm. My fingers dig into the skin of her hips, urging her on because this feels so damn good.
Though she has to know. “If I’m not mistaken, you’re fertile,” I groan. “Your scent changed, the way you jumped on me for the third time in the last half hour...this is a fuck frenzy. And this is me, not complaining about it. Keep going. Yes. Fuck.”
She rolls her hips, clearly ignoring what I said. Leaning forward, she lets our lips meet briefly. Her mouth makes a path down to my neck, leaving a trail of kisses. There’s a reason they call it a frenzy. The desire spikes all senses, to reproduce, to consume, to prolong, and to dwell inside the pleasure that’s created by two souls who are united as one.
Her teeth sink into my skin making one of my hands fly up to fist her hair and hold her close. Guiding her head slightly to the side, I make room for myself to get a taste of the life that’s offered to me; Tessera, our future, and the newborn we’re humbled to create together.
In life we will always find a way to steer through the struggles that clog our path. Legend or not, rules of life or not, there is nothing more powerful than the will to live, the urge to reproduce and evolve. The quality of good or evil might not matter in the end, what matters is the outcome and who has the strength to fight for what’s right.
Between wars, there’s a need to build family. Not only to tighten and form a bond between sisters but also to create new life, growing stronger in every angle to face the future, solidifying it to face anything.
Tessera gasps and throws her head back, curling her spine to take the euphoria our bodies create. I feel my dick start to pulse as I erupt inside her. Groaning out her name I try to keep my gaze on the most beautiful sight; my woman. Serene white wings are stretched out behind her. It’s the ultimate picture of strength, freedom, and life.
My fingers slide down her body and settle on her bare stomach where droplets of water slide down. Imagining her belly swell with our child makes it impossible for my dick to soften inside her.
“Again,” I growl, making her gaze connect with mine.
A sly smile tugs her mouth. “Who’s leading the fuck frenzy now?”
“It doesn’t matter who leads, because the other will always fucking follow,” I tell her and with that flip us over and start to thrust inside her.
“Always,” the vow tumbles over her lips on a moan.
As long as there has been life on this planet, they have fought, ruled, and loved. Faces filled with scars, hearts broken and yet still possess the ability to bloom, to be discovered with the beauty that lies within. The time has come for us to be together and I for damn sure will face anything life throws at me to make sure I get to keep on living with her beside me, allowing the possibility for our kids to make footprints in the dirt road that’s called living.
