Sela gasped when he grasped her hands and pushed them over her head. Holding them with one hand, he cupped her breast and stared down into her eyes.

“Enough of that, my little cat.” He nibbled the underside of her breast. “This time is for you. You have to beg for it, or I cannot claim you.”

“Beg for it?” She turned her head to the side, her face burning. “I don’t think I can do that.”

“Did I just hear you say the gold is worth almost half a million dollars?”

“Yes, ma’am.” Geno stepped forward, a grin on his face. “Let me be the first to welcome you to the family.” He gave her a quick hug before turning to his other sons. “I guess sending you all into the far reaches wasn’t a bad idea after all.”

Sela stared at the group of people in her living room and shook her head. “And it seems as though Providence has had more than one hand in getting us together.” She shook her head. “We ran out of gas at just the right time.”

“Just think,” Ceno said as he gently pulled her back against him, “if you hadn’t gone to town two days ago, we never would have met.”

“That’s true.” She leaned back and closed her eyes. Nothing felt more like home than Ceno’s arms. For years, she had thought the house and outbuildings were her home, now she knew differently. Home was Ceno, her grandfather, and her new family.

“Life doesn’t get much better than this.” Reno hugged his wife to him with a smile.

Never had she dared to dream for such a large family. After years of wishing, she finally had her big family. Sela tilted her head back and met Ceno’s loving gaze.

“You’ve got that right, my new brother. You’ve got that so right.”
