Fighting for my Best Friend (Fated Series Book 4) by Hazel Kelly (15)

ven through his boxers, I could feel the intense energy coming off him.

Just the heat was enough to shake me out from under the hazy blanket of pleasure I’d been under from what he did to me.

And I was excited to return the favor, but I was anxious, too. After all, the thought of having him, of swallowing his passion for me and having it inside me while I mingled with the other wedding guests was thrilling.

I mean, even though he’d already fucked me, filling me up until he nearly tore me open, pleasuring him this way would be totally different. It would be hard work, and he would be hard for it.

He already was.

To be honest, I’d never been so nervous about a blow job in my life, but I’d never wanted it so bad, and the stakes had never been this high. After what he’d done to me, anything short of epic would be a disappointment, and I was desperate to show him that I wasn’t just a wet girl who came hard. I wanted to give him the kind of blowjob that would have him strutting for the rest of the day.

I wanted it to be so good that every time he closed his eyes, he would see my lips around his dick and nothing else.

But I had to calm down. If I psyched myself out, I would never be able relax enough to unhinge my jaw like I would have to in order to fit him in. Because he was huge. It wasn’t even worth comparing him to other guys I’d been with, not that I would ever tell him how big he was.

Of course, he probably knew. He’d spent enough time in locker rooms, but I didn’t want to make a big deal about it.

I wrapped my fingers around the top of his boxers and his pants at the same time and started pulling them down, afraid if I wasn’t careful he’d spring loose and poke me in the eye. Once I pulled his pants down over him, his dick stood at attention, begging to be stroked, sat on, and drooled over.

And suddenly I understood why so many girls were hungry for it. Everything about his cock made me want to touch it.

So I did.

I left his pants around his knees and wrapped a hand around him.

His brows furrowed with anticipation.

As I twirled the pad of my thumb around his head, I could feel the blood coursing through him against my palm. Despite how small my hand looked holding him, I still wanted to try. I wanted to feel him swell in my mouth. I wanted to push him to the brink so he lost control, so he’d have to grab my hair in his fist while he shot his load at the back of my throat.

It was like I could see how it would all play out, and I was sure that the fantasy of it would be far greater than the reality, just like it had been to have him the first time.

I rolled on to my knees and slid my hand down to the base of his dick. Then I leaned over and stuck my tongue out, licking the underside of it all the way to the tip. I could feel his eyes on me as I swirled my tongue around the ridge of his head, doing my best to tease him, to drive him crazy.

But I needed him too badly to torture either of us anymore, and I could feel my need for him like an ache in my core. With my hair falling around my face, I leaned forward again and laid my tongue flat against the underside of his solid cock, letting my mouth water over him as I wrapped my lips around him.

And then someone knocked on the door.

I sat up and looked towards it with wide eyes.

Aiden lifted a finger to his lips.

I waited, one hand still wrapped firmly around him. I was just about to stroke his shaft when the knock came again, louder this time.

“Lucy Ryan, are you in there?”

I looked at Aiden.

Then I heard a familiar voice. “Lucy, it’s Nathan,” he said. “I’m here with the police. They need to ask you a few questions.”

“One second!” I said, not knowing what else to do. I let go of Aiden and looked at him.

“The police?” he mouthed. “What the fuck?!”

But I didn’t answer him. Not just because I didn’t have an answer but because I needed to find my underwear.

“Lucy?” Nathan said again.

“Hold on!” I said, slipping my underwear back on and smoothing my dress down.

Meanwhile, Aiden looked about as happy as a wet cat.

“I’m coming,” I said, smoothing my hair down and waiting for Aiden to tuck his shirt back in.

As soon as he was decent, I headed for the door.

Aiden grabbed my arm. “Lucy,” he whispered. “What are the police doing here?”

“I don’t know.”

“Who the hell is Nathan?”

“He’s my-” I shook my head and looked down like the words might be on the floor. Instead I saw my shoes and bent down to grab them.

“He’s your what?”

“My lawyer,” I said, unsure if that was totally accurate.

Aiden brought his hands to his head. “What?!”

“I can explain later,” I said.

The frustration on his face was heartbreaking.

I opened the door a crack. Sure enough, Nathan was standing there with two officers in uniform.

“Sorry to bother you,” the female cop said. “But we need to ask you a few questions.”

“About what?” I asked.

“About your case,” Nathan said. “Sort of.”

“We’d like you to follow us to a room downstairs,” the woman said, looking over my shoulder. “Where we can talk in private.”

I nodded. “Okay. Just let me get my purse.” I closed the door and turned around.

“What’s going on?” Aiden asked. “Your lawyer? Your case?”

“I don’t have time to explain now,” I said, grabbing my phone off the table and shoving it in my bag.

“Will you come find me when you’re done?” he asked.

“Yes, of course.”

“As soon as you’re done?”

I nodded. “I promise.”

“I’ll be downstairs,” he said. “Waiting for you.”

“Okay.”

I turned towards the door but he grabbed my shoulders and ducked his head so he could look at me straight on. “Are you sure you’re okay?”

“Yeah,” I said, glancing down at his crotch. “Are you okay?”

He tried to smile. “I’ve been better, but I’ll live.”

“Maybe we can continue our… conversation later.”

“I would like that very much,” he said, picking up on my nerves. “You were making some very persuasive arguments when we were so rudely interrupted,” he added a little too loud.

“I’m sorry.”

“Not as sorry as I am.”

I leaned forward and gave him a quick kiss on the lips and then headed for the door, looking at him one last time before I stepped outside.

“Right this way,” the female cop said, turning on her heels.

I was starting to wonder if the other cop was just a decoration when he opened his mouth. “We apologize for interrupting you like this,” he said. “Especially considering the circumstances, but it is an urgent matter.”

I fell in line next to Nathan behind the cops. “What the heck is going on?” I whispered.

“They wouldn’t tell me much,” he said. “But it seems like you’re not the first person to put Chuck on their radar.”

“What?”

Nathan shrugged. “I brought in the evidence you compiled for me so I could make a formal complaint like we talked about.”

I nodded.

“And while I wish I could tell you that they’re really interested in your case, my gut tells me that Chuck was already in trouble.”

The male cop turned around and spoke to me over his shoulder while we waited for the elevator. “We just have a few questions about the information Mr. Sinclair submitted on your behalf. I assure you, we’ll be brief.”

“Okay,” I said. “Good.” Cause I was just about to get to the bottom of something myself.
