CHAPTER EIGHT
GRAYSON
I held her tightly as I ran through the events of the night. I was coming out of the club when I heard her screams. I ran as fast as I could towards the deafening sound. I spotted him above her as she struggled beneath him and my instincts ran through me. Pulling out my gun, I fired one shot into the air startling him, I lowered the gun and kept it trained on him. I nodded. “I hope so.”
She tsked at me, but hugged me tighter. “Grayson?”

“I thought you had left me.”

She turned around and faced me. Sliding her fingers along my beard, she smiled. “It’s not your fault.”
I closed my eyes. “I should’ve been there. I could’ve prevented it…”
She pressed her fingers to my lips. “Shhh. It’s alright.”
I glided my hands up her back pulling her closer to me.
She played with my beard and bit her lip.
“You like it?” I asked playfully.
She looked at me and smiled sexily. “I can’t wait to see how it feels between my thighs.”
