My Best Friend's Sister by Q.B. Tyler (9)

It had been two weeks since Ava and I had taken our relationship into boyfriend and girlfriend territory, and I still hadn’t told Tucker. She’d been sleeping at my place almost every night, as I was officially over the close quarters of her apartment. Every time Tucker called, Ava made it her personal mission to turn me on while I was talking to him. Yesterday, she sucked me off just as Tucker and I started talking about the prior night’s Eagles game.

I pay no attention as Ava slides up next to me in bed as I pick up the phone. I put the finger to my lips, indicating she needs to be quiet, and she rolls her eyes before getting up and planting herself firmly in my lap as she appears to be mesmerized by an old rerun of Friends.

But I know what she’s doing.

Every few seconds she moves around under the illusion that she’s trying to get comfortable, but really, it’s just an excuse to rub herself on my dick. I cough to hide the groan that almost escapes my lips while I’m talking to her brother. “You alright, man?” he asks.

“Yeah, what were you saying?”

I hear him speaking, but I couldn’t tell you what he was saying if my life depended on it. I am too focused on the girl in front of me who is literally sitting on my dick…and moving around far too much on it. She pulls her top over her head and tosses it to the side. She looks over her shoulder, and I point a finger at her.

Behave, I mouth silently at her, and she giggles quietly before spinning around, putting her perfect breasts on display. My eyes widen to the size of saucers seeing one of my favorite parts of her to have in my mouth staring me in the face, and I can feel my mouth begin to water instantly. She lowers her face to my crotch and presses her lips to my dick that was covered by my gray Calvin Klein boxers. I can see the fabric darken due to her spit, and I’m instantly hard as she tongues my cock through my underwear.

“Tucker, one sec,” I tell him. I put him on mute before he can reply. “Ava Remington, I am going to put you the fuck over my knee.”

“Oh, is that a promise?” She pulls her lips away from my dick, and I’m slightly grateful for a reprieve from the torture.

My nostrils flare, and my body is fighting itself on whether it’s pissed or turned the fuck on. “Can you not do this while I’m talking to your brother?”

Her lip juts out, and I can already see this is not going to end well for me. “But you haven’t fed me today.”

My cock seems to appreciate her choice of words because it immediately stands at attention, begging me to let her suck it.

“Stop it,” I reluctantly tell her, and she rolls her eyes and turns back around to face the television.

“Alright, what were you saying?” I ask into the phone. “Sorry, work shit.”

I hear the very unladylike snort from in front of me and notice her shake her head. I assume she has given up trying to torture me when I see her spin around and lie down on her stomach between my legs. She grins up at me, her face perfectly aligned with my crotch, and gives me a devilish smirk. She reaches into my underwear to free my erection, and I have to fight the moan sitting in the back of my throat. Ava! I mouth at her, trying to get across the fact that I’m trying to yell at her. She ignores my warning, pressing her tongue to the base of my shaft and drawing it upward.

I let my head lean back against my headboard, unable to focus on anything except for the woman currently hollowing her cheeks around my cock as she sucks me hard into her mouth.

“Did you hear what I said?” I hear in my ear, and my eyes fly open as I try and recall what Tucker said. I blink my eyes several times as I attempt to focus on anything other than the person who is literally humming around my dick, causing the vibrations to move through me.

Jesus, Ava.

“Yeah, totally.”

“Asshole, you’re not even listening. I’ll call you tomorrow,” he says before he hangs up. I toss my phone down on the bed and give Ava a stern look.

“You are in SO much trouble.”

I’m woken up Saturday morning by lips rubbing against my face. I smile in my sleep, feeling her kisses peppering my jaw and lips. I open one eye, revealing my favorite girl with a huge smile on her face. I pull her on top of me and press my lips to hers. “Good morning, beautiful.”

“You didn’t wake me up when you got home last night,” she pouts, and I pull gently on her bottom lip. I worked later than usual last night, not arriving home until well after midnight, only to find my girlfriend asleep with her tax law textbook resting on her chest. I would have woken her up had she not pulled an all-nighter the night before cramming for an exam.

“I knew you were tired from the night before; I didn’t want to wake you.”

“Next time, wake me,” she whispers as her lips trail along my jaw to find mine. Her hands move into my hair, and she pulls away to look me in the eye. “You’re going to tell Tucker while he’s here this time?”

I nod. It had been almost a month and a half since Ava and I had gotten serious, and Tucker was still none the wiser. I was beginning to feel guilty for all of the lying I was doing, but I was worried about how he was going to take it with twenty-five years of friendship on the line. Tucker had a temper and was known to overreact, so I could see him telling me he never wanted to talk to me again. I could see him telling me to fuck off. I could see him punching me in the face. At the risk of sounding like a girl, I just wasn’t ready to blow up the closest friendship I had. But I had to tell him.

Tonight.

Tucker was coming into town for the weekend and I wasn’t going to last long without touching or kissing Ava. Let alone three days. I barely lasted twelve hours the last time he was here.

“We should get ready so I can take you back to your apartment.”

“I wish I could stay here with you.” She rolls off of me and lands on her back, staring up at the ceiling. She’s wearing nothing but an old t-shirt of mine and a smile. “Once you tell him, I can’t sleep over?”

“You want your brother to know what we’re doing in here?”

“You can go three days without fucking me?” She shoots me a look, and I think about what going without her touch for seventy-two hours would feel like.

Basically hell.

“Well, let me see how he takes it, and then we can go from there.”

The last time he was in New York, it was just for the night. The train ride from Philadelphia where we’re from to New York is basically an hour, so by the time he got in, he basically wanted to head out for the night. So, we hit the town-- with Ava in tow. Something Tucker was less than pleased about.

Two weeks prior…

“Why is my sister coming? I figured it would just be us?” Tucker asks as he tosses back his third shot since we returned to my penthouse. I broke the news to Tucker in the car ride from the airport that Ava was coming with us, and he’s been complaining about it ever since. “We haven’t hung out in months; this is the first time I’ve made it out here since the summer, and you want to let my little sister tag along?”

“She’s not twelve, Tucker. She can come with us to dinner and the bar; what’s the big deal?”

“The big deal is… I mean-- come on, do you want Elle hanging around when you’re trying to pick up women?” he asks in reference to my little sister.

“I can assure you Ava does not give a shit.”

“It’s my baby sister, man. I just wanted to let loose with my best friend, and I can’t do that with her around.”

“It’ll be fine.”

It was not fine. Tucker barely left my side, making it impossible for me to even look at my girlfriend sideways. Finally, I had to intercept her on the way back from the bathroom just to get a second alone with her.

I push her up against the wall in the hallway and seal my lips over hers, my tongue invading her mouth instantly. “Baby,” I groan into her mouth.

“He’s driving me insane! Get rid of him!” she pants as her leg hikes up and wraps around my waist, pushing her pussy against me.

“He’s only in town until tomorrow; I can’t.” As much as I want to ditch Tucker and go have my wicked way with Ava, I can’t.

“Why the fuck not? Don’t you need me?”

“More than air, but not now.”

She lets out a humph and stomps away, and I chuckle at my girl’s fierce attitude. An attitude which she had with her brother for practically the rest of the night. At one point she mentioned she was calling an Uber to go home, and I had to reel in the protective boyfriend stance, which was as hard as I’d imagined.

“By yourself? No, we’ll take you home,” I tell her immediately.

Tucker raises an eyebrow at me. “What does she do when she’s out with her friends?”

“I recall someone telling me to keep an eye out for their sister, so I believe that would include making sure she isn’t roaming around in the middle of the night,” I tell him. “Or did you not call me yelling at me to go get her last month?”

“That was different. She called me in hysterics.”

“The ‘she’ in question is right here, jerks. Tucker is right; I can get home by myself. It’s only about a ten minute ride,” Ava says as she stands up and puts her coat on.

“I don’t care. It’s midnight, and I’m not letting you go home alone, so if you’re ready, we’ll take you.”

“Are you sure you don’t want me there? I could probably diffuse the tension a little?” Ava says, snapping me from my thoughts.

“No, I think this needs to be man to man. Besides you being there would just distract me and make your brother even more uncomfortable.”

She scoffs and rolls her eyes. “He’s such a child.”

“Hey, give him a break; it would be weird for me if I were in his shoes.”

She nods. “Fine. Well, do you want a taste of what you’ll be missing for the next three days?”

“I always want a taste of you, Ava.” My mouth finds her neck as I sink my teeth into the flesh, and she yelps.

“How is having a hickey going to make things better?!” She pushes back on my chest and scowls at me.

I chuckle before capturing her mouth with mine and sliding my cock deep inside of her.

Ava and I have been at it for the past forty-five minutes when I hear the door to my bedroom open. “Jackson, you in here? Yo, there’s a game on-- Oh shit!” He chuckles, and I freeze as I happen to be on top of and balls deep inside of his little sister.

Ava looks up at me with fear etched all over her face before squeezing her eyes shut as if she’s hoping it would make her invisible. “Shit, my bad, dude. I’ll be in the living room.” I’m resisting the urge to yell at him for just barging into my apartment and furthermore my bedroom, but considering it seems he didn’t realize just who is underneath me, I let it go for now.

I hear the door shut, and Ava lets out the breath she was holding. “What the fuck?!” she whispers, and I let out a sigh.

“Fuck, he’s early. Like really fucking early. He wasn’t supposed to be here till tonight.”

“Ya think?!” Ava exclaims as she pushes me off of her, much to my disappointment.

I wouldn’t mind finishing what we started.

I reach for her hand in attempts to pull her back to bed, and she pulls from my grasp. “Are you insane?” she whispers. “My brother is right out there; we are… no,” she says, crossing her hands across her naked chest and pushing her breasts upwards. “I told you to tell him a month ago.”

“I know; I know,” I say as I run a hand through my hair. “I was going to tell him tonight. I wanted to tell him in person.”

“You should have fucking told him weeks ago!” she says as her hands find her hips, and I narrow my eyes at her for her choice of words.

“Watch your mouth, young lady, before I wash it out with soap,” I growl as I slide my underwear and sweatpants up. I pull the t-shirt Ava had previously slept in over my torso, and I’m instantly calmed as her scent surrounds me.

“Bite me,” she growls. “This is not the time. How the fuck am I going to get out of here? I don’t think he’ll buy that I was just sleeping in your guest room while you had a girl over. And although I do think you should tell him, I don’t think now is the right time given that he just saw you fucking me.”

“Okay, relax. I’ll go out and get rid of him, and I’ll call you when the coast is clear. Get dressed, okay? Everything is going to be fine, and I’ll tell him at dinner tonight.” I move across the room and pull my naked girlfriend into my arms and kiss her lips gently. “Don’t freak out.”

“I’m not freaking out. But please tell me how you’re going to tell him tonight? Again, he just saw you fucking me.”

“Fuck.” I rub a hand through my hair and groan. “I’ll feel out the situation at dinner, but maybe we should wait.”

“Again?” She sighs. “We are avoiding the inevitable.” I nod, knowing that at this point it’s the best option. “But he’ll be in town again at the end of the month. Maybe we should tell him then?”

“Deal.” I smile at her before I rub my nose against hers and prepare to lie straight to my best friend’s face. I head out of my bedroom and see Tucker pulling the contents of my refrigerator out onto the counter.

“Where’s your housekeeper? There’s usually a continental breakfast spread in the mornings.”

“Uh, it’s her weekend off,” I say, trying my best to get across just how exasperated I am by his presence. Ever since Ava became a frequent houseguest, I’ve been giving her the weekend off as Ava likes to cook for us.

“Look, I’m sorry about barging in; I didn’t know you had a girl over.” He doesn’t even look at me as he continues to open every Tupperware dish from my fridge.

“How’d you even get up here, anyway?”

“I have codes? And a key?” he says as he pulls out the rotisserie chicken Ava made us last night and pulls a wing from it. “Who’s the ho?” He nods toward my room in reference to the girl who just happens to be his baby sister. “I’m surprised she’s still here. Usually you want them out before breakfast.”

My blood boils hearing him say something so disgusting about Ava, but it is how I’ve treated women in the past. “She’s not a ho,” I growl as I’m unable to keep the anger out of my voice, hearing anyone talk about Ava like that, even if it is my best friend. “And… just…someone.”

“Someone you met… what--last night? Because I know you, and you haven’t mentioned that you’re seeing anyone. Which means you had to have just met her.” He shakes his head. “I’ll give it to you, you do find the best pussy. I didn’t see much, but that looked like a fine pair of legs wrapped around your back.”

“OUT!” I scream, unable to listen to any of this shit pouring from Tucker’s mouth.

“Wait, what? Dude…,” he says, clearly surprised by my outburst as I’ve never reacted this way to any of Tucker’s crude comments about the women I’ve slept with before.

I try to calm my rage, remembering that he doesn’t know anything about the woman upstairs, and more importantly that he’s going to be just as angry when he finds out. “You want to get brunch?”

He raises an eyebrow at me and runs a hand over his face before dropping a wing back onto the plate. “You’re acting really fucking strange, dude.”

“I just…I want to see her out, and I need you to not be here.”

“Oh, come on, I can’t meet your ‘lady friend.’” He puts his hands up to indicate air quotes. “Oh God, it’s not a prostitute is it? Dude, I know you work a lot, but you’re a good-looking guy; you shouldn’t be paying for sex. God, J, this is why you need to just move back to Philly, and you and I can take over the pussy population.”

I sigh for what feels like the millionth time. “It’s not a prostitute, alright? So why don’t I meet you at the spot around the corner?”

His eyes light up immediately, and I know exactly why. “With the blonde bartender?”

“Yep, and I’m sure she’s there.”

“Done. I’ll meet you there in…” He looks at me, waiting for me to give a time. “You going to fuck your secret girlfriend upstairs again or what? I realize I probably prevented you from getting off.” He puts his Wayfarer Ray Bans over his eyes and pulls on his coat. “Tell me-- how hot is she?

You got a pic?”

“We can talk at brunch, alright?”

“Whatever, I don’t know why you’re being so secretive. I don’t like it, douchebag. Oh hey, I’ll text Ava and see if she wants to meet us, since you two are damn near besties now,” he calls over his shoulder as he heads out the door.

A few minutes later I hear Ava padding down the hall, and I can see the irritation all over her face as she enters the kitchen. “God, I had no idea my brother was such a douche.” She rolls her eyes. “Oh my God, are you a douche?!”

“No, Ava.” I shoot her a pointed look.

“You guys just talk about women like we are nothing.” She shrugs.

“You know it’s not like that.”

“Oh? I was a ho, a prostitute, and good pussy,” she says, listing off all the things Tucker said about her. “That’s great hearing those things from my brother. My parents will be so proud.” She rolls her eyes, and before I can tell her just how different she is than any other woman I’ve ever dated, I hear my door open. Before I can think, Tucker is walking back through it.

“I left my wallet--” he says as he looks up from his phone and is rendered speechless at the scene in front of him. “Ava?” He looks at her for a second as if he’s not sure that she’s in front of him.

“Hey, sis, what are you--” he starts, and it’s clear he hasn’t exactly put two and two together yet. Ava’s eyes are wide, and all I’m doing is bracing myself for impact. Tucker looks at me for a second and then back to Ava, and it clicks. “Ava!?!” he growls, and he’s immediately on the move toward us.

Ava, who knows he wouldn’t even think about laying a hand on her, but I’m sure isn’t totally clear about what he’d do to me, steps in front of me and puts her hands out. “Tucker, stop!”

“MY FUCKING SISTER, YOU SON OF A BITCH?” He moves around Ava and approaches me from behind. “You fucking cocksucker, I will kill you,” he growls. “There aren’t enough women in New York you have to go fucking around with my sister? The way YOU treat women?! I know I’m no saint, but I also have enough respect for you to stay the fuck away from the women in your family!” He pushes me hard against my chest, and I fall a few steps back, but I’m grateful Ava isn’t directly behind me.

“Tucker, it’s not like that…”

“IT’S NOT LIKE WHAT?!” he screams. “You mean you weren’t just defiling my baby sister?” He pulls at his hair and groans. “Oh my God, I had to see that! And I said-- about…” He points at Ava as he recalls all of the foul things he said about her. She folds her arms.

“That’s right, you jerk. I am not a prostitute.” She stomps her foot, and if this were any other situation, I would think it was cute.

“What the fuck, Ava? Can’t you find a guy you haven’t known since you were born? How are you not smart enough not to get caught up in this asshole’s crosshairs?”

“That asshole is your oldest friend!”

“And as his oldest friend, I can attest to the fact that he treats women like shit!” he growls.

“Okay, first of all, you’re pissed at me, so don’t take this out on her,” I bark at him, not liking the tone he’s taking with Ava.

“You’re damn right I’m pissed at you, Walsh. How could you fucking do this to me? How could you take advantage of my sister?! MY SISTER! The most important person to me! She doesn’t know anyone here, and you took advantage of her being alone in a big city. I trusted you, Jackson. My parents trust you!” His face is turning red as he screams, and I think it’s only a matter of time before he takes a swing at me.

“It’s not like that, Tucker… It’s different with Ava.”

“Oh my God, here we go. Like it was different with all of the other women you’ve promised the sun and the moon and the stars to so you could get into their pants?” He looks at Ava and points at me. “What did he promise you? Because he’s full of shit. He will say whatever he can to get into your pants. God, didn’t dad warn you about guys like him?”

“Oh my God, enough!” she shrieks. “You call yourself his best friend; how can you say all of that about him?!”

“Because you’re my baby sister! And it’s the fucking truth! Do you think I want to see you get hurt?!”

As much as it hurts hearing my best friend say all of that about me, I can’t deny there’s some truth behind it. But it’s different with Ava. So very different. “I would never hurt Ava. Ever,” I interrupt. “Tucker…this isn’t some fling.”

“Bullshit!”

“Fuck you, Tucker, I LOVE her!” I scream.

I freeze, having never said the words out loud before, and I turn toward the other Remington in the room. Her eyes are wide, and the tears form in them instantly. “What?” Her teeth find her bottom lip. “You… love me?”

I swallow nervously, having to lay my heart out for the first time ever, not only in front of Ava but her brother as well. “Yes,” I whisper. “I love you, Ava.”

She takes a step closer to me as the tears slide down her cheeks when I feel a fist connecting hard with my cheek. I hear Ava scream as it knocks me a few steps back, and before I’m upright again I hear Ava yelling at her brother.

“Tucker, WHAT THE FUCK!?”

I rub my jaw, already feeling my lip swelling and the blood pooling in my mouth from the gash on my lip.

“You were like my brother, Jackson.”

I cringe hearing the anger as well as the sadness in his voice. “I still am…,” I trail off. My jaw isn’t made of glass; I know he’s pissed, and I’m more than willing to let the hit go as I’d probably do something similar, but something tells me he’s not willing to let it go. “I get that you’re pissed but--”

“The fact you say you love her means this shit has been going on for longer than just now. So not only have you been fucking around with my baby sister, but you’ve been LYING to me about it. You say you’re in love? But you were too much of a pussy to tell me that?”

“Because we knew you’d react like this! We knew you’d overreact. Honestly though, I never in a million years expected you to lash out like this. Jesus, Tucker, this isn’t your life. It’s mine. This has nothing to do with you!” She points at me. “But that is your best friend, though to be perfectly honest, you don’t deserve his friendship right now. He just said that he loves me. That doesn’t mean anything to you? What kind of friend are you? What kind of big brother are you?”

He shakes his head before leaving the room without another look at Ava, knocking against my shoulder as he leaves. I hear the door slam, and Ava’s in my arms instantly. “Oh my God, let me see.” I feel her hand on my lip and then tracing my bruised jaw. I wince once as the skin is a bit sensitive. “Let me get you some ice.” She presses a light kiss to my jaw. “You should have hit him back.”

“Why? I deserved it.”

She grabs an ice pack from my freezer. “No, you didn’t.”

“If the tables were turned and this was Elle...”

She purses her lips together and presses the ice to my cheek. “Well, that’s stupid.” She sighs. “I’m sorry this happened.”

“Not as sorry as I am.” I can see the frown cross her face.

“I didn’t mean to wreck your friendship with Tucker.”

I replay what I said in my mind, and I can hear how she took my comment. “No baby, you didn’t. That wasn’t how I meant it.” I pull her into my arms with one hand as the other is holding the ice against my cheek. I rub my nose against hers, trying my best to reassure her that none of this was her fault. “I should have told him when things got serious between us. I should have told him the day we slept together. I was a coward.”

She licks her lips, and despite the pain in my jaw, the ache in my cock of not finishing earlier is back in full force. “You guys can fix this, right?”

“If Tucker can’t get over it, I’m not sure I’m interested in fixing it.”

“I don’t want to come between you and Tucker; you’ve been friends forever.”

I shake my head and set the ice pack down on the counter so I can wrap my arms completely around her. “For twenty-five years, Tucker has been the Remington I knew the best. He was there for me when I needed him, and it was me and him against the world. But now…” I let out a breath wondering how I’m going to tell this woman in my arms that I want to spend the rest of my life with her. “There’s another Remington, and she means more to me than anyone else in the world. She’s who I want to spend the next twenty-five years with-- the next hundred and twenty-five...,” I trail off.

She tucks a hair behind her ear and looks up at me. “So... you kinda love me, huh?”

I nod. “I do. I love you, Ava.”
