Temptation and Treachery (Dangerous Desires) by Roberts, Sahara (8)

Chapter Eight

Releasing her, Rio staggered back until the door took his weight, providing the support he needed. He clenched his eyes closed, letting his head fall back against the wooden frame. He couldn’t look at her, knowing that little more than three feet away, she lay draped over the surrounding boxes, her tempting body posed in an erotic display after her climax.

His dick throbbed, begging him to go back and sink into her, feel those honeyed walls welcome him. Her sexy little body would hold him like a vice. Milk him until he had nothing left to give.

Fuck. He cupped himself, still feeling the line of pearls bouncing over the ridges along his length. His fingers slid over the juices covering his hard shaft—her juices. He needed to calm the fuck down so he could drag on his clothes without hurting himself.

What the hell had possessed him? In the last twenty-four hours he’d ditched his plans, chased a woman he’d just met across an airport, made out with her on the street, taken her shopping, then spent most of the night fucking her. Now he was in a restaurant storage room with his aching cock in his hand and not a single condom on him. If he weren’t standing here now, he never would have believed it was possible.

The image of Celeste filled his head. She tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, the pearl drop earring swaying with her graceful movements. She’d given him the full range of her emotions, without reservation.

Damn, he needed to think, to figure out if she was the shy girl with the pearl earrings or the temptress with the fascinating pearl between her thighs. Because there was no way she could be both. Could she?

That’s the moment her fingers curled around his. His breath left him in a rush, and his head lolled forward to find her sweet, upturned face. “Let me,” she said, slipping her hand down to cup his balls with a feather-light touch. His head kept his steely resolve, echoing a determined no, as her fingers slipped over his cock, still wet with her juice and throbbing from those damn pearls. But his hips pushed forward, eager for more attention. Traitor. Obviously his other head didn’t give a damn about following through on his plan.

Celeste’s fingers circled his shaft, and his hand fell away, leaving her to take over. Her gasp flowed across his chest. He searched her face, drinking in the array of emotions fanning across her features. She tested the size and feel of his cock, ramping up the tension along every muscle in his thighs and ass. Keeping still after their tantalizing play was an excruciating struggle.

She offered up her mouth, her lips swollen from his attempt to silence her cries and keep every waiter in the building from crashing through the door. His fingers dug into her hair as he took her mouth, claiming the sweet recesses like he wanted to take her body. Her breath hitched, but the little witch knew what he wanted. Her tongue moved along his in tandem with her thumb. Learning every inch along the underside of his length, caressing on the way down. Light brushes of her thumb and a circular pattern with the pads of her fingers. A firm grasp while she sucked at his tongue. His cock was eating it up, wanting more of the unexpected attention. As quickly as she began, she stopped and slipped out of his arms.

Oh hell. She sank to her knees, pushing her dress down her arms. Oh hell! “Celeste…” The voice he heard, hoarse and pleading, wasn’t his own. There was no way. He shook his head in denial, his dick throbbing with need.

She closed her lips around him, surrounding him in moist heat, caressing him with her eager tongue. His head ricocheted against the door, his hips arching toward her. Celeste worked his length, using her hand at the base to cover all of him. Much as he wanted to hold still, to let her set the pace, she’d pushed him past his usual boundaries. The last few minutes, pumping between her thighs left him aching for the feel of her gripping him. He tried to say no to her, he honestly did, but his body bucked, pushing into her mouth of its own accord. He pulled back out slowly and his hips twitched again, sliding back inside her warm, wet mouth. I can’t… But Celeste surprised him again, stopping, tilting her head back, scorching him with her heated gaze.

Somehow, he caught himself this time, shifting away then back. His hands caught her head, keeping her in place while he struggled to keep control. Once more. Just once more, then he pulled all the way back, his ass hitting the door behind him.

Celeste was having none of it. She followed him, closing around his erection, sucking on him, holding his balls and urging him to finish. He couldn’t—wouldn’t do it. God, she was trying to kill him.

Then she purred, deep in her throat, and he lost it. He couldn’t give a warning, couldn’t back away. Instead, his hips surged against her, as if he was pumping between her legs. He should be feeling guilty, should want to apologize, but it was impossible, because with a single whimper she’d owned him like no woman ever had.

Trolling the internet had its benefits and drawbacks. Until today, she’d thought the posts with porn videos were a nuisance. How many times had she scrolled past some distracted coed bobbing on a guy’s junk while trying to smile for the camera. Only a handful of clips tempted her to stop and watch, because the woman seemed to enjoy the act. When she’d seen Rio leaning against the door, holding himself, his chest heaving in exertion, she’d understood and known what to do. Hoping she wasn’t creating one of those nose-scrunching scenes, she’d glanced up at his face. Desire and pleasure had flowed over her. Heated. Intense. Raw. Rio had completely changed from the arrogant, self-assured powerhouse who’d swept her along with him.

What was most shocking, she’d done that to him. Feminine power was an unimaginable aphrodisiac.

She rolled her tongue inside her mouth, recalling the taste and feel of him. Had she really had sex next to a room full of people? In a storeroom, no less. Mind blown. Polite society would tell her she should be ashamed of what just happened. Instead, she felt empowered and in control of her life, if only for a few moments.

“How long will you be in town?” Rio handled Houston traffic like a lifelong city boy.

With the change, she had no idea. “Probably a couple of days. Which reminds me, I need to extend my reservation.” She dug into her purse.

“Hotel reservation?”

She pulled out her phone, going to the booking app. “Yes.”

His brows contracted. “I thought you were staying with your father.”

Ugh, she’d inadvertently talked herself into a corner. “I’d mentioned…” she cleared her throat, “we aren’t exactly close, but he asked me to come down.”

“I get it.” He nodded, his attention on the downtown exit.

He probably didn’t, but she’d be better off. Should she ask about his plans? Maybe she was pushing it, assuming too much. She rolled her bottom lip between her teeth.

“Is he at the hotel, too?”

Again, concern whispered at her conscience. “Yes. Unless he had something unexpected come up.” Which wasn’t exactly a lie. But it’s not like she could ever tell anyone about her father, the cartel boss.

“Do you think you’ll have any free time?”

Her pulse may have tripled. “I might.” But her father would be sending someone. Which means it could be anyone, at any time. She took a deep breath. “But I don’t think my father would deal with this very well.” She motioned between them.

His lips twitched. “Yeah, I can see how things could get awkward.” The hotel loomed up ahead.

“How long will you be here?”

He gave her a quick glance. “A week or so, at least.”

A week. That should be plenty of time to visit with Oz. “Once I clear things up with my father, I’ll have a better idea of what’s happening.”

Rio pulled up to the end of the line in front of the luxury hotel. The space around her heart tightened. She didn’t want the cars to move, just so she’d have a few more minutes with him.

“How about you give me a call when you’re free,” he suggested.

She bit her lip, wishing she knew when she’d see her father. “I’m not sure when I’ll be able to call.”

He put the car in park and turned to her, pulling off the sunglasses. “Let’s try for this weekend.” His gaze moved over her features. “If not, next week.” She nodded and leaned in to meet him in a kiss that was both possessive and promising. A car horn blared with impatience, breaking them apart. Rio looked over her shoulder. She followed his line of sight to find a doorman waiting patiently for them to finish. “Call me.”

She nodded and straightened in her seat. The door opened beside her. “Could you get my bag from the back?” The man moved away, and with one last lingering look at Rio, she stepped out of the SUV and closed the door.

Neither moved. She glanced back to see the line piling up and a doorman craning his neck to see what was delaying them. Slowly, she raised her hand and gave a little wave. She followed the doorman through the entrance and to the front desk without a conscious thought.

Confirming the room was for one person almost brought her to tears. The woman behind the desk gave her an understanding smile and assured her the bellhop would help her to her room. But when she turned, she found a familiar face headed in her direction.

“I was so worried.” Her brother, Leonard, wrapped his arms around her, practically sagging in relief.
