Misunderstood Hacker (White Hat Security Book 3) by Linzi Baxter (14)

Brock

The last month had been busy. The FBI had Sasha and Kennedy in custody and charged with kidnapping. Both women would be going to jail for a lengthy time, and we got information from Sasha’s laptop about who the key players were.

Abshir was the man who had been in contact with Doug. Abshir was offering a million dollars for Jessica. Doug and Sasha were working to sell Jessica to him. The plan was to use her to get Axmed out of prison.

John assisted the FBI with the raid on the Mujahideen. Abshir and his men were taken into custody. Neal and I worked with the FBI to break into the equipment that was confiscated during the raid. They had encryption set up on the drives that the FBI couldn’t crack. Once we cracked it, we figured out who they were talking to in the FBI. We turned all the information over.

Since closing the case, things had quieted down. Jessica went back to working at Ross Enterprises. She still stayed with me every night. I wanted to keep a bodyguard on her, but she didn’t want one. At the moment, we were letting her go without, but she was wearing a necklace that had a GPS tracker in it.

I tried talking her into getting her original tracker reinserted. She wouldn’t. Thinking about her necklace made me want to go shop for a collar. I was ready to settle down, and Jessica was the women I wanted to settle down with.

The previous night’s lovemaking flickered through my mind. We had spent the night having dinner with Neal and Daisy. Jessica had worn a tight black cocktail dress. It clung to her ass perfectly. The second I saw her in that dress, my pants had become tight and uncomfortable.

When we arrived back at my apartment, the need to be inside her was tremendous. I reached down to grab the bottom of her dress and lifted it off her body. Underneath was a surprise I hadn’t been expecting. Jessica was completely nude.

“I didn’t want panty lines,” she mumbled.

Since my need was so strong, I swung her into my arms and headed for the kitchen. I placed her on the countertop and went straight for her right breast. When my lips touched her nipple, a moan escaped her mouth. I lifted my left hand and plucked her other nipple.

“Please.”

At her request, I moved my hand down to her folds. She was wet and ready.

Needing to taste her sweet nectar, I worked my way down her stomach, kissing along the way until I reached her pussy.

When I took the first lick, Jessica lay back on the counter with her legs wrapped around my head. Her fingers tried to pull me in the direction she wanted.

“Not yet.”

“I need to come, Master.”

Her calling me master for the first time almost made me lose control.

I left her right on the edge of an orgasm and worked my way back up her body.

“Please.” I licked her nipple again.

“Please? Please what?” I asked.

With my free hand, I worked to undo the zipper of my pants and pulled out my straining cock.

“I need you inside me.” Not being able to hold back any longer, I pulled Jessica closer and thrust into her. She exploded the second we connected.

The fire inside her was so intense. I pushed her up against the kitchen wall and thrust like a man out of control. Jessica came two more times.

We both collapsed to the floor in exhaustion.

The ringing of my phone brought me back to the present. Sam’s named flashed across the screen. Using my thumb, I swiped to answer. “Hey, boss.”

“Brock.” Sam was not a man of many words.

“What can I do for you? I’m just finishing the report for the sex trafficking case and was going to send you the files. I have never been so happy to finish a case.”

“I’m transferring the remaining part of Blackwood Security and the club into your name.”

I was speechless. Nobody knew I owned fifty percent of Blackwood Security. ”Do you want to explain what is going on? How much is this going to cost me?”

“You’re not paying for it. Patty and I discussed it. We are transferring it to you. End of story. I have a mess to clean up in Shialia. I don’t know what Patty’s brothers have been doing, but this place is a mess. We trust you and want you to have it.”

“I think we should talk to the team first and make sure they are okay with it.”

Sam chuckled at the other end. “Patty and I just finished that call. The team is one hundred percent behind you.”

“Okay.” So many emotions were coursing through my body.

“That’s what I thought you would say. Your team is waiting for you in the conference room.”

Still in shock from the news, I got up from my chair and headed down the hall to the conference room. The door was open, and I could hear the team laughing and giving each other jabs.

When I walked into the room, everyone’s heads swiveled toward me.

John was the first to speak. He was sitting at the end of the table in jeans and a crisp black shirt with the company emblem embossed on it. “Congrats, boss.”

It was strange being called the boss. Eric was sitting next to Mia. He got up, walked over, and said, “Congrats, mate,” in his English accent.

Mia walked over and gave me a hug. “You will do amazing.”

All the congratulations were making my throat close. The remaining team members were conferenced in on the phone. They continued with their congratulations.

“This is not what I expected this morning when I walked in. I like the way the company runs, so we’ll stay on the same path. With Sam gone, we’ll need to hire some more people. Sam and I had already talked about expanding the team. Please, if you have anyone you would recommend, send me their information.”

John said he knew a couple people that might work.

“Now that we have that out of the way, updates.”

Mia grabbed the controller from the conference table and flipped the projector to her laptop. “We have retrieved all the women from the list we found in Abshir’s office, except for three.” An image of the three women appeared on the screen.

Dean spoke up from the phone. He was in California, following up on a lead to where the women might have been sold. “I’ve come to a dead end. The address the women were supposed to be at was empty. Jack and I will talk to the local police and see if anyone else has any information.”

“Report back to me on what you find. John, I need you to do bodyguard work this week. Princess Analeigh of Hamlin is flying in for a fundraiser.”

John groaned. “She would be a good experiment for a new employee.”

I tried to hold back my laughter. Princess Analeigh was extremely tricky to work with and was super needy. We usually drew straws to see who had to work with her.

“Sorry, you’re it. Mia and Eric, I need you to take another look at the case. Make sure we didn’t miss anyone.”

John left the conference room grumbling about being fucked over. The conference call clicked off. Eric, Mia, and I were the only ones remaining in the room.

Eric leaned back in his chair. I could tell he was calculating his words. “We checked this case a million times. You need to stop worrying that we’re missing something.”

“I’ve learned to trust my gut. The last time I didn’t trust my gut, we ended up losing people we cared about.”

Eight years ago, Eric, Mia, and I were on a mission in Afghanistan. I was working intel on the dark web. Eric and Mia were out with the other members of our team following leads I had given them. Eric and Mia went to check one lead while the remaining team went to check another.

I had received intel about where a tribal leader was located. The intel I was fed was wrong, but I didn’t double-check the source. It led our team into an ambush. They were captured and killed.

Mia stood up and paced back and forth. “You need to stop blaming yourself for that. We knew what we signed up for when we joined the Seals. I was there. Our CO was on you for any information you could get. He wanted to make a name for himself. You wanted more time to verify, but he took that info and ran with the team. That was not on you.”

Eric tapped his pen on the table for a couple seconds before responding. “I still think he was after something else. I think our CO was in deep, and he used your intel to his gain. It backfired. No matter what, I will always follow you, mate. If you think we missed something, Mia and I will keep looking.”

Knowing they had everything under control, I grabbed my case folder and laptop and headed back to my office. To my surprise, Jessica was sitting at the second computer station.

“I’m so happy to see you.” I pulled Jessica out of her chair, and her hands immediately wrapped around my neck. I leaned in for a kiss, and we got lost in each other for a little while.

By the time I pulled back, Jessica and I were both panting with desire. My pants had become uncomfortably tight. I wanted to sweep Jessica up in my arms and take her upstairs.

Then I noticed Daisy was standing at the door. She was smiling from ear to ear. When Jessica saw her, she blushed.

“Daisy was dropping off the mail.” She handed me an envelope and smiled one more time before heading out the door and down the hall.

Jessica resumed her place in the second chair and pulled what smelled like food out of a bag. “You could have told me someone was at the door,” Jessica pouted.

“I faintly remember hearing someone come in. I was enjoying my girlfriend in my office. Did you get off work early today?” I grabbed one of the cheeseburgers Jessica had pulled out of the bag. She must have stopped at Chubby’s Diner on her way over. The place had the best hamburgers and onion rings.

When she finished pulling out the remaining food, she answered my question. “No. I asked Alex if I could work from here today. I wanted to celebrate you taking over Blackwood Security. I figured you were too busy to leave early, so I brought lunch.”

Jessica took a bite of her burger, and the moan that escaped her made the situation with my pants all the more dire. I reached down to adjust myself, and Jessica’s smile grew.

“How did you find out? I would have called you when I got out of the meeting with the team.”

“Patty called me the second Sam got off the phone with you. She seems stressed with the mess going on back home. She is excited that Sam can put all his time into Shialia and figure out what my brothers have done.”

For the next few hours, Jessica and I worked side by side. She had all her monitors full of spreadsheets and numbers that made no sense to me.

I had a new message waiting for me on the dark web. It was from a contact buried in the CIA.

ICE: You missed something. There is still a price on Jessica’s head.

Those were not the words I wanted to see.
