Chapter Nine

Jonathan

I don’t have much of a plan for what to do with Gabby today. I’m just glad she’s here. And I feel like a horny teenager, trying to figure out where we can go for some privacy at some point before I have to take her home. I consider asking her to text Marissa to get an idea for how long she might be gone, but I feel bad after leaving her at a coffee shop for so long last night so I could bang her sister.

We could go to a hotel that we won’t stay in all night. Tempting, but I’d rather save the hotel idea for later. Gabby’s on board with it, but I think she’d object to starting our trip that way. No, I’ll keep that for something to look forward to later on.

Which leaves finding a secluded place to park. Man, I really am a horny teenager.

But first lunch. Then the beach. We’ll go for a drive up the coast at sunset and find somewhere after the sun goes down.

I take her to my favorite hole-in-the-wall taco place. We’ve both often complained about the lack of quality Mexican food in the Spokane area. There are a few places that are decent, but it’s just not the same. Although Gabby prefers Tex-Mex, she falls in love with the tacos at first bite, her groan making my semi turn into a full hard-on. I both love and hate the fact that her food moans and her sex moans sound exactly the same.

Leaning in close to her where she’s sitting next to me in the vinyl booth, I pitch my voice low, even though the place is nearly empty. “Gabby, you seriously can’t make those noises in public.”

Her eyes widen. “What? This is delicious. You’re the one who told me how much you like it. You can’t get upset when I enjoy it.”

“I’m not upset you’re enjoying it.” I set my own taco down, wiping off my hands so I can lay my arm behind her and lean in even closer. “That’s the same sound you make when you’re enjoying something else, though. And you make it hard to listen to you when we’re in public.” I drop my eyes toward my lap, just in case she didn’t pick up on my really obvious innuendo.

Her eyes drop to my lap, too, even though she can’t see anything under the shadows of the table. Her mouth curls up in a mischievous smile, and she takes another bite of her taco, moaning even louder this time.

I let out a low chuckle. “Thanks, Gabby. Just remember that the longer you do that, the longer we’ll have to stay, and you’ll get less time on the beach.”

Despite my threat about not enough time for the beach, we stay in the restaurant talking over our food, catching up on our time apart. We’ve talked and texted and chatted while she was in Texas. But it’s not the same. And sitting here, with her leg pressed against mine, is better than any phone conversation ever could be.

We make a quick stop by my apartment so Gabby can get her swimsuit, and while we’re there Shane calls me back.

“Dude,” he says when I answer, “why didn’t you tell me about her sooner? She’s amazing. Perfect for what we’re looking for.”

“Yeah? That’s awesome. I didn’t realize you were looking for a violinist before today, though.”

Gabby looks up from her suitcase, straightening with something red in her hands. I give her a grin and finish up my conversation with Shane, who’s saying, “Tell her I’ll give you the contract tomorrow to give to her. How long did you say she’s here for again?”

“Just through next week.”

He lets out a grunt. “That sucks. I know of at least three other gigs she’d be great for in the next month or two. Damn. Well, at least we’ll get her for this one. And she can add some new recording credits to her resume.”

“Yeah. I’ll let her know.”

“Sounds good, man. Thanks for bringing her by today. Let her know about the other opportunities if you think she might be able to change her schedule.”

“I’ll do that.”

Gabby’s been frozen throughout the conversation, waiting for me to finish. When I hang up the phone, her face is expectant. “So, that was Shane,” I offer. After her extra loud and long moans in the restaurant, part of me wants to keep her hanging for another minute, but I’m too excited for her to drag it out like that.

“Yeah?” She’s holding herself in check, waiting for whatever I have to say.

I can’t hold back my grin. “You got the gig.”

She squeals and throws herself at me. As I catch her and lift her up, her lips find mine. The celebratory kiss turns hot and hungry. Turning, I set her down on the bed. Her hands still cup my cheeks as she sits, refusing to break the kiss. But when she starts to scoot back, I can’t maintain the connection. Instead I stand, stripping out of my clothes and grabbing a condom out of my bedside table. The one in my wallet is closer, but I want to save it for later. Just in case.

With the secret smile reserved just for me, she pulls her own shirt off, followed by the rest of her clothes. When we’re both naked, she grabs the condom, getting up on her knees to roll it on me. I pull her in close, kissing her again, but she turns her head after a second. I keep kissing her, down her neck, my teeth grazing the skin where it meets her shoulder.

She gasps and moves her head to the side so I have free access. “I don’t know when Marissa is coming back. We shouldn’t take too long.”

I growl a little, frustrated that I don’t have the time and space to explore her like I crave. Like I’m used to. Like I wanted to from the moment we started planning this trip. But I’m not going to complain about that right now. “I want to make sure you get there too.”

She rakes her short nails down my back. “It won’t take much. I’ve been turned on since I watched you earlier. You’re so sexy when you perform. Especially when I’m your only audience, and you’re singing every word just for me.”

“I’m always singing every word for you.” My hand trails down her body, sliding between her thighs. And she’s not lying. She’s slick and wet and ready for me. But I plunge two fingers inside her anyway, curling them till I hit her G-spot, grinding against her clit with the heel of my palm. I want her primed and ready when I take her, ready to explode.

She moans, and my dick twitches at the sound.

With a sexy chuckle, she says, “Knowing I was making you hard at the restaurant just from the sounds I make when I enjoy my food was a big turn on too.”

“Wicked little thing.”

She hums in agreement, pressing her hips into my hand, hanging onto my shoulders as I fuck her with my fingers. After a few more thrusts, I turn her around, bending her over on the bed and climb up behind her. She pulls her hair over one shoulder, arching her back in invitation. I tease her for another second by running the head of my cock all over her wet pussy. But I can’t make myself wait any longer either. When she moans in frustration at my teasing, I plunge inside her in one thrust. She lets out a groan and jerks forward a little, but my fingers dig into her hips to hold her in place. We get into a rhythm quickly, and she’s pushing back against me on every thrust.

Even though we just had sex last night, I’m ready to blow sooner than I’d like. Taking her from behind, which is one of her favorite positions, means she’s moaning and groaning and chanting, “Oh my God,” over and over as I pound into her. I know she’s getting close, but her sounds have me ready to come now. It’s taking all my control to hold back. My callouses drag over her soft skin as I reach my hand around to rub my fingers over her clit, giving her the pressure and speed I know will send her the rest of the way in no time. When I feel her clenching around me, her upper body collapsing onto the bed, I let go, my knees going weak as I give in to my own orgasm.

After taking a minute to recover, I pull out and deal with the condom, smiling as Gabby sprawls out on her stomach. “God, I’ve missed that,” she says, her voice muffled by the comforter.

Crawling back in behind her, I gather her against me and kiss her shoulder. “Me too. I wish you could stay longer than two weeks.”

She sighs. “Me too. It’s stupid to be upset about that when I just got here, but I am. I wanted to stay for the entire summer, but I couldn’t figure out a good reason why I should stay here other than wanting to be with you.”

“Mmm. Well, for what it’s worth, I think that’s an excellent reason.”

Glancing at me over her shoulder, she gives me a rueful smile. “Me too. But my parents disagree, and since they’re in control of the money for now, I can’t go rogue. Yet.”

The rest of my conversation with Shane comes back to me. I got so distracted by Gabby throwing herself at me and the celebratory sex that I realize I haven’t told her what else he said. “Do you think they’d change their minds if you had a job here?”

She turns over so she can look at me, her legs still tangled with mine. “Maybe. But the gig Shane hired me for is just for next week. And I could be a waitress or something at home as easily as here. They wouldn’t go for something like that.”

“Shane said he knows of at least three other gigs that you’d be perfect for in the next month or so. I’m pretty sure they pay better than waitressing too. And you wouldn’t have to pay rent or anything. So you could save pretty much all of it.”

Her eyes get bigger the longer I talk. “What? Wait, what?” She sits up, brushing her hair out of her face. “He knows of three other gigs after this one? That’s amazing. That’s better than amazing. What’s better than amazing?”

“Awesome. Fantastic.”

She shakes her head. “No. Those are about the same.” Her hand waves through the air. “Never mind. Why are we arguing about synonyms right now?” She bounces up and down, and my eyes go to her chest, drawn of their own volition to her pink nipples, now soft, and her small breasts jiggling with her movements. But she doesn’t even notice, caught up in her excitement.

“Oh my God. Oh my God. Jonathan!” She grabs my arm, giving it a shake, and drawing my eyes back to her face. “I could stay! Pretty much the whole summer! If I have paying gigs lined up, they can’t say no to that. Can they?”

Grinning, I shake my head. “You know your parents better than I do. But I’m totally on board with you staying the whole summer.”

She looks away from me, drumming her fingers on her lips, which are pursed in concentration. “I’ll have to talk to Marissa. She’ll know the best way to approach this to get Mom on my side. And if I have Mom and Marissa, Dad’ll eventually come around.” She shakes my arm again and bounces a little more. “This is so exciting! I can’t believe this is happening! Yay!” She throws herself on top of me and kisses me again. I hold her against me, enjoying her enthusiasm and excitement.

When she pulls away, her cheeks are still flushed, and with her hair loose and crazy, she looks amazing and sexy and mine. All I can do is smile back at her.

She tugs on my hand, pulling me to sit up. “Come on. We have to go to the beach and do all the things you said. We need to celebrate. And then tonight I’ll talk to my sister and figure out how to make this happen.” She freezes, halfway through picking up her swimsuit from where she dropped it on the floor earlier. “Wait. I’ll need a contract for these gigs, right?”

“Right. Contracts are pretty standard.”

“Of course they are.” Her brows pull together, and she taps a finger on her lips as she thinks. “If I have the contracts for the other gigs already, then there’s no way my parents can say no to changing my return ticket. Keeping your word was drummed into me from a young age. Not even my dad can object to that.”

She lets out another happy squeal, stepping into her bikini bottoms and then tying the two little triangles that make up the top around her torso and behind her neck. Looking at me, she grins. “Aren’t you going to get ready?”
