SIX: A Men of the Strip Anthology by Marie Skye, Dee Garcia, Shelley Springfield, Janine Infante Bosco, Alice La Roux, Derek Adam (32)

7

Six seems to be my number seeing as that’s how many times Rylee and I went at it before we both passed out from exhaustion. Ready to see if we could go another six rounds before reality settles in, I roll over and reach for her. However, my hands come up just as empty as her half of the bed.

Glancing at the clock on her nightstand, I sit up and search the bedroom for her. I also try to place how we eventually made our way into her room. Twice on the couch, once on the floor and then—yeah, that’s when we moved the party to the bed. Rug burn isn’t a good look on an ass as fucking fantastic as Rylee’s. It’s also painful as fuck. Not that she complained but, I’m sure she’s feeling that shit today.

Throwing my legs over the side of the bed, I run a hand over my face and search for my clothes. Of course, they’re nowhere to be found because we barely shut her front door before we started stripping. Clearly, nudity isn’t a problem for me but, I’m not so sure how Rylee will react to me parading around her apartment with my dick swinging between my legs.

The fact that it’s the crack of dawn, and she’s not in her bed isn’t a good sign, and makes me wonder if she regrets last night. I’m pretty good at reading a woman. I know the signals one gives when she wants to get off. Rylee was especially easy to read. For fuck’s sake she was the one who suggested we leave the bar and come back here. Then there was her little confession when she admitted she’s thought about us. Yeah, there was no doubt in her mind or mine but, that was last night. We were too annihilated by our need for one another to worry about what would happen once the sun came up.

In truth, I never meant to fuck her. Sure, I wanted to but; it wasn’t my intention. Frankie was in the back of my head all night long, warning me to do the right thing and I wasn’t so sure six orgasms was on the list of good deeds.

Still, I’d do it all over again.

I meant it.

I wanted it.

And I still do.

I don’t know what it is about her but, I can’t control the feeling I get deep inside of me when it comes to Rylee. It’s almost as if someone is whispering in my ear not to let her be the one that gets away.

With no other choice, I lift my naked ass out of bed and make my way toward the door. I barely step foot into the living room before I overhear her talking on the phone in the darkness of her kitchen.

“I know what time it is but, if you hang up on me we will never speak again,” she whispers harshly into the phone. “He’s in my bed. Yes, I know my apartment is the size of shoebox but he’s sleeping and he’s pretty worn out. Shit, did I say that? I mean he looked tired. Yes, yes, yes I fucking slept with him and I know I don’t do that on the first date. He probably thinks I’m the biggest whore to walk the halls of the hospital,” she continues to ramble on and on to whoever is on the other end of the phone.

Finding my boxers, I quickly pull them up my legs and follow the sound of her voice into the kitchen.

“No, it wasn’t a onetime thing. There was no wham, bam, thank you, ma’am. Fuck, Lindsey I just told you he’s sleeping in my bed!”

“Not anymore,” I say pointedly, as I creep up behind her. Keeping her back toward me, she freezes with the phone still poised at her ear. Slowly, I pry her fingers off the phone and lift it to my own ear. “Hey there, Lindsey.”

“Holy fuck,” the friend mutters in response.

“Rylee’s going to have to call you back later on,” I continue, ignoring her shocked response. “Much, much later on,” I add before ending the call. Tossing it onto the counter, I lay a hand on Rylee’s shoulder and turn her around. Blushing, she stares up at me with her mouth agape. The urge to kiss her runs through me but, I do best to remain in control.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you,” she stammers, taking a step backward.

“You didn’t wake me,” I reply, reaching for her. My fingers curl into her hip and I drag her closer to me. “You’re freaking out.”

“You heard me?”

“Kinda hard not to.”

“Oh my God,” she groans, throwing her head into her hands. “You weren’t supposed to hear any of that.”

Grabbing her wrists, I gently pull her hands away from her face. She lifts her eyes to me and I smile at her.

“Relax, Rylee,” I coax.

“I like you,” she blurts. “And I don’t want

“I like you too,” I interject. The admission along with the need to ease her worries, both surprise me and leave me questioning Rylee’s power over me. “Look, I get it. We got caught up in the moment last night and maybe we moved a little quicker than you are used to, it doesn’t make me think of you differently,” I say, pausing to rake my fingers through my hair. “We can go slow from here on out but, I’m not a mind reader Rylee and this is just as new to me as it is to you. If something is worrying you, you gotta tell me.” As the words fly past my lips, I’m aware I’m insinuating I want more than one night and judging by the way her eyes soften before me, I’m thinking my intentions are clear to her too.

“Don’t leave me in your bed and call your friend at the crack of dawn. Wake me up, we’ll talk it out and then we’ll go move—” The last words die on my tongue as she lunges for me. Throwing her arms around my neck, she leaps into my arms and winds her legs around my waist. Her mouth is on mine and the kiss is no different from the ones we shared last night. It’s just as hot, just as wet and just as enticing.

Cupping her ass, I kiss her back and learn she’s not wearing anything other than a t-shirt. Her fingers claw my back and things between us escalate as I drop to my knees and spread her out on the kitchen floor. The concerns she had a moment ago are a distant memory as she pulls my briefs down my hips and kicks them the rest the way with her feet.

I don’t have nearly as much patience as she does and don’t bother removing her shirt. I inch it over her tits and bend my head to take one perfectly erect nipple into my mouth as I position myself between her legs.

“Slow,” she teases. “I wouldn’t want you to get the wrong idea.”

Smiling back at me, she arches her hips, and that’s all the invitation I need.

I stay true to my promise and fuck her slowly, savoring the feel of her tightly wrapped around my bare cock. Keeping my head, I grasp every ounce of control I can and force myself to pull out before I come.

It’s messy.

Dirty.

It’s fucking perfect, is what it is.
