Alpha Victorious (Waking The Dragons Book 4) by Susi Hawke, Piper Scott (3)

3

Nathan

Brick’s hand was around my shaft, pushing mine together with his own and it was… glorious. My entire body felt like it was on fire. I needed to touch and be touched, I needed friction, I need something to fill the empty void inside me, I needed pressure, I needed his kiss

There was too much to need, and I had no idea where to start. What I needed more than anything was for him to take care of me and tell me what to do.

“Daddy,” I gasped. “Help me.”

“I’ve got you, angel boy,” he uttered. “Lift yourself up for me.”

Even as he spoke, his hands moved to grasp my hips. I whined at the loss of his hand around my shaft, but only for a brief moment, because what happened next took my breath away.

Brick lifted and tilted me forward in one move before slowly lowering me onto his cock. I jerked with surprise as the thick head began to push through my tight ring of muscle, then began wiggling greedily when he didn’t lower me fast enough.

“Wait,” he said in a firm, commanding voice. “Let me do it, baby. You’ll hurt yourself if you rush this. Let Daddy take care of his boy, hmm?”

I nodded quickly, unable to vocalize anything more than a whimper. It was my first time, but I was ready for him, and I wanted him more than anyone I’d ever met before.

“Be still, baby. I don’t want to hurt you.” Brick spoke softly, his warm breath making me shudder as it passed over my ear. I reached up and gripped his broad shoulders, suddenly aware of how small I was in comparison to his broad, muscular body.

Tilting my head, I looked into Brick’s eyes and bit my lip to hold back a moan as he slowly filled me. The stretching of my body around his supersized alpha cock burned like hell, but felt so good at the same time. It was somewhere on the border between pleasure and pain… and all I knew was I wanted more.

I tipped forward, eager for another of Brick’s sweet kisses. It thrilled me when he leaned in and met me halfway again. As soon as our lips touched, my arms wrapped around his neck while Brick bent forward, pushing me down all the way onto his cock.

The shocking stab of pain that hit me was immediately blurred, then erased by pleasure when Brick’s hands gripped my hips harder while he rocked me back and forth. Every time we moved, my shaft rubbed against his washboard abs, and his cock slid against something inside of me that made me see stars.

I broke our kiss to catch my breath, flinging my head back to face the ceiling, rocking faster against my sexy alpha. My body felt like liquid heat, as if I were slowly coming to boil and was about to explode. Brick began kissing my neck, my shoulders, under my jaw… and everywhere he moved, his soft stubble tickled and teased.

Without thinking about it, I began rolling my hips in a slow circle, rubbing every side of my channel against his cock as I chased my pleasure.

My head rocked from side to side, and I was vaguely aware that I was panting and begging for… something. It was right there, so close, but unattainable. I could feel it just outside of my grasp.

Brick chuckled in my ear—a low, sensual sound that made my shaft that much harder. He brought one hand up to my chest and began to roll the pad of his thumb over my nipple.

“Does Daddy’s boy need a hand? Or maybe a mouth?” Brick tipped me back with a hand on my chest, taking the one still on my hip and moving it around to hold the small of my back.

He kissed down my shoulder to my nipple while he tipped me backward, still thrusting hard and steadily into my body.

“F-fuck—yes! I c-can’t—” I couldn’t even formulate the words to express myself at that point. The liquid heat had brought my blood to a full rolling boil.

I closed my eyes against the bright light of the room, only to see stars exploding inside my eyelids when Brick dragged one nipple through his teeth while he pinched the other. That was all it took.

I felt his knot swelling inside me while I clenched around his cock. My wings came forward, wrapping around his shoulders as I screamed. “Daddy! Yes! Like that! Nghh…”

I rocked back and forth with abandon and my shaft shot pearly cum across his chest. Brick’s head came back up and sealed our mouths together for a hard kiss while I held on tight and hugged his massive shoulders with my wings.

I was dimly aware of him thrusting up now, pushing inside me as his knot filled and locked us together. I heard his two enormous wings flap before I felt them enfold over us, wrapping over mine and enclosing us in a private embrace that only mates could share while his cock pulsed inside me, filling me with what felt like a large amount of seed.

When he stopped shooting, Brick’s hips finally stilled. He leaned back, pulling me with him as he broke our kiss. He smiled at me, his features dragged down by exhaustion as he rubbed the tip of his nose against mine.

“I thought that I would be the one wearing you out, angel boy, not the other way around. That was…” He stopped and shook his head. “Fuck. That was mind-blowing, is what it was.”

“It’s not always like that?” I asked curiously. It was probably no secret that this had been my first time, so I simply shrugged and didn’t try to pretend otherwise. “I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I’m just glad it wasn’t bad for you.”

“Angel boy, believe me when I say that nothing with you could ever be bad for me—not when we are sharing our passion through our bond. But I’m glad to know you really did enjoy yourself. It’s my job to make it good for you, especially since it was your first time being bred.”

“First time being—” I frowned with confusion, then bit back a giggle as it clicked. “Yeah, it was my first time. First time having sex, first time having someone else touch my shaft, first kiss… all of the firsts.”

Brick’s eyebrows shot up, then a possessive grin curled his lip as he darted in for another kiss. “I’m proud that I got to have all of your firsts, and that I will also be the last—your one and only. You’re stuck with this old ass now. You claimed me back, after all.”

“And I didn’t do it without reason.” I grinned at him, wanting another kiss in the worst way. “Old isn’t always bad. Case in point, you. Old means that you can teach me. I wonder what other firsts of mine you can take tonight…”

“But old does mean that I need some time to recharge.” Brick laughed and ran his hands over the cheeks of my ass. “Let’s let my knot recede before we plan to take any more of your firsts, angel boy. How does that sound?”

“Just fine,” I said. I was patient. I could wait. I’d been waiting for him for twenty years, after all. What was another few hours?

We ended up making love and knotting together again several more times throughout the night. It wasn’t until my heat dissipated that we finally drifted off to sleep.

I’d never been in heat before—Mama Vee had told me I was a “late bloomer”—so I had no way of knowing if that was it, or if it would come back and we’d be at it like rabid bunnies again. Not that I had a problem with it, if it did.

As long as Brick could keep up… and after tonight, I had a feeling that it wouldn’t be a problem at all.

* * *

I woke up to the sound of horns blaring in the distance. The signature, tinny sound of La Cucaracha crudely honked told me all I needed to know.

I tried to jerk free to go to the window, but I was tangled in Brick’s wings, just like he was tangled in mine. We’d rolled onto our sides in our sleep, and our body weight pinned each other’s wings to the bed.

“What’s the matter, angel boy?” Brick asked with a yawn.

“They’re here. I knew they’d find me. Mama Vee took my blood when I came to live with them, so she could find me anywhere, and it looks like she tracked me down. I need to go! I can’t let them meet a bunch of dragons without being there to smooth the way… Oh! It’s all bad, Brick!” I wasn’t making a lot of sense as I struggled to free myself from our wing cocoon and Brick’s half-deflated knot.

“Nathan, are you sure you’re not dreaming? I’m sorry, angel boy, but you’re not making a hell of a lot of sense right now.”

I startled, then stilled when I heard the reason in his voice. I dropped my forehead to his shoulder and pounded it against his muscle with frustration.

“Feel better now?” Brick asked with a dry chuckle when I calmed down.

“A little,” I sighed. “Can we get free so I can explain? I can’t talk about my family like this. Also, I need clothes. Why don’t I have clothes? You guys know that’s weird, right? To have me here naked like that?” Funny how different that seemed in the light of day.

“I don’t know where your clothes are, angel. I was in stasis when we were brought here, as were you. I’ll get you some new ones—Emery or Sam should have something you won’t swim in too much.” While he talked, Brick rolled us over and sat up. He drew his wings in, making them vanish into his very human back.

I closed my eyes and pushed at the bright white light that flickered in the recesses of my mind, making myself relax while my wings retracted. Once I was me again, I breathed a sigh of relief. We were still knotted, but that felt like it was going away, hopefully.

Mama Vee hadn’t really told me how long dragon knots were supposed to last, but I had a feeling that Brick’s was lasting an abnormally long time. I still had so much to learn, but right now, all I could focus on were the horns in the distance.

“Start at the beginning, angel. I’ll listen, but you need to talk so I can figure out what’s wrong right now.”

I took a deep breath and looked into those startling silver-blue eyes. “Mama Vee has psychic powers. She’s a locator. I don’t know what date it is now, but I was taken on my way home to Thanksgiving dinner. Before they shoved that spike thing into my head, they said that it would block anyone from being able to find me. It would be as if I’d ceased to exist.”

I blinked away tears, thinking of how much terror Mama Vee must have had when I’d dropped off the map. It wasn’t until Brick took a firm hold of the back of my neck that I started to get a hold of myself.

“Breathe, angel. Take a breath and go on.”

I nodded and did as he told me. It was such a relief to have someone there to direct me. No. Not just anyone would have done—I was grateful to have Brick.

After a moment, I continued, “The minute you guys removed the spike, Mama would have been able to track me again. She does it through blood. She took a taste of my blood when I was adopted, and that’s how she can always find me. And I can hear her rig coming up the road, with the full caravan of kinfolk right behind. Any minute now, we’ll all hear it.”

“Okay, so I’ll meet your mama. I don’t see the problem. Do you think she’ll worry I’m too old for you? I think I’ve more than proven my virility.”

He spoke so rationally, it was cute. Too bad Mama Vee was gonna chew him up and spit him out.

“It’s not just Mama. It’s the whole clan. You’ll see. And they don’t know that you are my rescuers—they’ll think you were part of the ones who took me.”

I wiggled a little and winced when Brick’s knot popped free. Fluid dribbled down my thighs as I pushed off him and jumped from the bed.

Brick sighed and shook his head. “We’ll have a chat about that later, angel. There was no need to hurt yourself while separating from me. Another minute would have helped a lot. Now, I want you to go on calmly… why are you so scared of your family? Nobody here will hurt them.”

“It’s not them I’m worried about,” I said frantically as I moved to the pile of Brick’s clothes beside the bed. I grinned despite myself at the oversized unicorn tee that was laying there—at least Mama Vee would approve of their fashion choices.

Pulling the shirt over my head, I was pleased to see that it hit mid-thigh—plenty long enough to cover my assets while I found pants. I tossed Brick his pants and ran for the door.

Brick was cursing and fighting with his pants as I fled down the hall. I knew he wasn’t happy with me for running off, but I needed to stop this shitshow from happening if I could.

A tall, skinny guy came rushing into the hall, and he looked freaked out… whether from something else or merely from seeing me run his way, I didn’t know. I simply stopped and held out a hand.

“Sorry if I scared you. I’m Nate. Can you help me find pants? My family is about to arrive—I can hear them.”

“That hillbilly army coming up the drive is with you?” He blinked behind his wire-rimmed glasses, his brows drawn together. He looked like he was about to have a panic attack. I was relieved when I heard the unique footsteps of Emery and his mate, Cory, coming up the stairs.

“Yes, they’re with me, and please don’t call them hillbillies. You’ll get a whole lecture about goats versus rednecks, Clampetts and McCoys, all that shit. Trust me, not worth it. Now can I please get some pants before my mama finds me with my dick hanging out?”

Emery snorted and almost tripped over the top stair, except that once again, his mate caught him. When he was back on his feet, he gestured down the hall. “Follow me—I’ll loan you a pair of sweats. I know all about moms catching you during your most embarrassing moments. Not fun.”

I turned on my heel to follow him, only to find Brick leaning against the wall a few yards away, his arms crossed over his chest and an amused grin on his face. “I’m eager to see this so-called hillbilly army that Sam spotted. Go ahead and get dressed. We’ll talk about you running off into the unknown only partially dressed later.”

He bent and pointed to a spot on his cheek, and I rushed over to kiss it before dashing off after Emery. I pushed aside the thought that I hadn’t heard my mate’s approach just then. I’d never met dragons before, and I had no idea how silent they were capable of being. I’d have to look into it in more depth later. Right now, I had bigger fish to fry.

“So, Daddy,” I heard Cory say when he thought I was out of earshot. “It sounded as though you claimed your heartsong last night. Allow me to be the first to offer my congratulations on your mating. And you’re welcome for the efforts Peter and I put in talking Sana down from examining your young angel again.”

I didn’t catch the rest of the conversation—I was too distracted dressing in the UCLA Bruins sweats that Emery tossed me while I held onto one of his clean shirts. I quirked a brow as I turned to leave. “Alma mater?”

Emery laughed. “Walmart. Three-dollar clearance bin. So, you exchanged mating bites with Brick, huh? Welcome to the family.” He was walking beside me as I speed-walked back to the hall.

I passed him the clean shirt to hold as I pulled Brick’s off, then took it back from him and struggled to get the new one on quickly. I tossed Brick’s shirt aside, not really caring where it landed, then went flying down the stairs. Brick was hot on my heels.

I was just in time.

I winced as the sound of metal against metal split the air—a gatecrashing no one would forget—followed by the tinny sound of La Cucaracha with a bevy of blaring horns backing it up.

Crap. Mama Vee had decided to make an entrance.
