Alpha's Bite: A Wolf Shifter Mpreg Romance by Preston Walker (7)

Seven

“Again!”

Dallas snarled, much to Roman’s disapproval. He shook his head at the russet wolf. Time was running out, and yet here they were, trying to convince the wolf to kill. He wasn’t expected to hunt daily, and yet the new wolf seemed to have no instincts. Roman cursed under his breath not for the first time, watching the small pen of rabbits sitting in the middle of the clearing before him.

When he’d first realized that Dallas was actually scared of the rabbits, he’d almost cried. How could anyone be afraid of rabbits? Yet the issue persisted endlessly. It held him back from being a better hunter—which he was in desperate need of. As the Alpha watched, the Omega eyed the rabbits warily. He hadn’t so much as stepped a foot into the pen of docile rabbits before every hair on the canine’s body stood on end.

They’d decided the wolf would be a better choice than the man when it came to getting over the fear. After all, naturally, a wolf should hunt—should want and need to kill to sustain its own life. In theory he should have wanted very badly to kill the rabbits—human heart or no, the wolf should have had a strong prey drive besides.

A snarl escaped the wolf once more, its pearly white teeth bared at Roman, then at the rabbits. It sat down, flicking its tail almost cat-like in displeasure. It wasn’t the first day they’d tried it, but it was the first time the wolf had come in contact with rabbits. Even in the open woodland of the Manor’s property, the wolf had never seen nor even caught scent of a rabbit. They simply avoided the wolf scent as best they could, so naturally there was none to be found in the wolf’s territory.

“Fine, have it your way then! Go on—you explain to the Pack Alpha that you’re a wolf who won’t kill rabbits. Please, I'll just watch and see how well that goes over!” Roman shouted. He threw down his hat and turned away, heading for the house. There was no point in arguing with the damn thing.

Roman was at a loss. He wasn’t sure what to do with the strange wolf, or even how to convince the man to think logically. Both halves simply detested the small, fluffy rabbits. Dallas was uncomfortable at the sight of them, stating that they were ‘creepy’ and ‘uncomfortable to look at’ due to their ‘beady eyes.’ Roman had never heard that one, though he’d been told they looked rodent-like enough to make some people mistake them for large mice.

He pulled open the icebox and retrieved the cold cuts he’d kept in the refrigerator, deciding he’d eat for lack of something to take his temper out on. He bit into the coldcut ham and turkey and almost immediately felt better. Yes, it was cold, and his wolf disliked the idea of cold meat. The man however was fine with it, and would happily eat it for the rest of his life if it meant he could take his aggression out on something other than the wolf outside.

The Omega outside—the one he’d intended to breed and be done with. He needed an heir, and he’d have one. Despite their rocky start, Dallas had been a gift sent to him—he’d expected he’d have to mate with a woman to get a viable offspring, and then Dallas had landed in his lap—or rather, in his wolf’s teeth. It didn’t matter how it happened, Dallas was a godsend—so long as he could keep himself alive.

Fear crawled down Roman’s spine as he considered the implications of Dallas' gentle nature. Would he never try to kill anything at all? He hadn’t tried to offer the wolf anything else, because he’d known his father would expect to see the wolf kill rabbits. Perhaps if he got good enough at catching birds out of thin air, they could pass it off as some sort of trick, though Roman doubted it. His father was a stickler for tradition and all its many facets.

Roman sighed, rubbing his face with both hands and pinching the bridge of his nose, irritated with himself. There was surely an answer, if only he were able to see it! He must have been standing there, racking his brain for too long because in stumbled the Omega after a time. His changes had gotten better—under fifteen minutes, in fact. He looked less shocky, but still tired.

Where had all the days gone? They’d trained in some fashion or another every single day since he’d agreed to allow Roman to train him. He was nearly proficient in every skill his father would likely ask Dallas to demonstrate—except for this one. With January’s new moon in only days, Roman was sure he wasn’t going to make it. The idea he might lose the one man capable of carrying his children was one thing—the other was that he’d begun to care for the Omega more than just as a surrogate.

He’d lay awake at night, stroking himself as he considered their inevitable breeding. He’d been sure to keep quiet, wait until the Omega was asleep before he’d taken himself in hand and stroked himself with the thought of breeding the Omega full of his pups, and of more than just pups in recent days. It was no secret that the Alpha would want to protect what was his—but Dallas wasn’t his, no matter how much the wolf whispered into his ear that yes, Dallas was his.

His wolf believed that they ‘owned’ the Omega, so to speak, because they’d made him. Rather, the wolf thought that the pups were owed to him, and that he would prove in due time that he was more than capable as a mate—thus encouraging and perhaps coercing Dallas to stay. It was a strange thing to hear the wolf express himself that Dallas—the wolf never called anyone else by name, and had not before—was his alone, and with an almost jealous demeanor, as if he were protected even against his own human side.

Roman watched from the corner of his eye as the Omega put his sweats back on and quickly grabbed a bowl full of soup he’d left on the stove, eating hurriedly. Dallas knew that Roman was furious—he’d known when he left the clearing.

The younger wolf was giving him a wide berth to let him think, and while Roman knew it was on purpose he was still irritated that Dallas had chosen to do so. Honestly, Roman was just irritated about everything regarding the Omega just now.

“Why?” Roman snarled suddenly.

“Because they’re creepy and weird. I don’t want anything to do with them,” Dallas replied quietly, not for the first time.

“You have to.”

“Your father has to learn compromise. I’m doing my best

“Your best is what you’re going to tell the pack? ‘Oh, don’t kill me! I can’t be near a rabbit, but I will certainly never betray the whereabouts or location of the pack!’”

“I understand it’s going to be difficult. But if they’re going to kill me for my interest or lack thereof, I think I'm much more in danger from that than anything else.”

“Then please—Dallas, don’t make it worse. You have to get over this.”

Dallas finished his soup and came over to the sink, subsequently stepping in front of the Alpha. He put his arms on the thick muscles of Roman’s biceps, his hands warm and gentle as he rubbed at the taut muscle there. He could see the tension in the Alpha, and while he understood, he needed to make Roman understand, too.

“I’ll do it. In the trial. I’ll make sure I do it, okay? No hesitation—no stopping. I promise, I'm not going to let you down. I want to live.” He gripped the sleeves of the shirt Roman wore. He gave the Apha a small smile, trying to lighten his mood. When it did not budge the frown on his face, Dallas seemed to decide to try a new technique.

He pulled the Alpha and suddenly shoved him; pressing him back into the fridge and pinning him for a moment with a playful little growl. Fortunately, Roman seemed to fall for the play, and the two wrestled again. This time, when Roman went to pin him to the fridge, he let the blonde’s weight carry him all the way around, so that Dallas ended up pinning him again, his hands at his side and his body pressed flush to the Alpha’s. The look of utter disbelief on Roman’s face was just icing on the cake for the Omega.

“You’ll just have to do better next time,” Dallas purred, his lips quirked up in a sardonic grin.

He released Roman with a shove and darted away, fully aware the wolf would give chase. When he reached the front door Roman was already on him, pushing him against the door and pressing his body tight against the new wolf. Suddenly the playful demeanor was gone, the Alpha pressing him into the warn wood of the cabin door, keeping him from so much as turning around.

A sliver of adrenaline slid down Dallas' spine, aware that the rumbling growl he could feel against his back had nothing to do with aggression. For a moment Dallas was frozen, hands braced against the door, the Alpha at his shoulder, teeth worrying his skin there. He certainly wasn’t hurting Dallas, but his grip was rough enough to have goosebumps breaking out across Dallas' skin. The soft noise it drew from his lips was all the permission Roman seemed to need, because the moment he drew the needy little sound from the Omega, his hands began to wander.

Roman traced along his sides, over his shoulders, and down to his hips where he gripped hard, grinding against the Omega in an instinctual haze of lust and need for what the wolf saw as his mate. Even as the two stood in such an intimate embrace, Dallas could feel the wolf was closer to the surface than Roman was. His own hands slid down to gently grip Roman’s, and he turned his head to press his cheek against the Alpha’s.

“I know you want me too, but you need to let him lead. You know it has to be this way,” he breathed, his voice soft and light with no command in his tone. He knew that Roman’s wolf wouldn’t hurt him on purpose, but that he could be excessively rough on Dallas' human skin. He put just a little emphasis on his Omega ability to sooth the beast, and after a moment he felt Roman’s hands relax, his teeth part from his flesh, leaving a cool spot and little indents in his skin.

Roman began to pull away, but the Omega turned in his hands, leaning back on the door. He didn’t know what to say to the Alpha, his cheeks rosy as he tried to find the words to tell him he wanted Roman as badly as Roman obviously wanted him. Fortunately, he didn’t need to find a way to communicate his need—Roman’s hands were already moving. Roman’s hips were still pinning him into the door again as his hands wandered down his front. He could see the desire and need in Roman’s eyes, and in a quick motion he gripped the hair at the nape of the Alpha’s neck and tugged him down to pull him close enough to kiss. He pressed himself hard against the Alpha, needing him as much as his wolf needed the other.

Dallas found Roman’s hands roving and allowed his own to explore. He hadn’t realized he wanted—or needed—the Alpha so badly until Roman’s mouth was moving over his with such need. Roman’s mouth moved down his chin and to his throat suddenly, and he realized that the Alpha would claim him like this if given half a chance. Dallas tilted his head, offering his throat and closing his eyes to enjoy the feeling of Roman’s teeth in his neck anew. He moaned louder this time, rocking his hips and bucking against Roman, begging for more touch.

It seemed to work; sparking the Alpha’s need and breaking down the last barrier of self-restraint for the blonde. He pressed harder against Dallas, bucking his hips against the smaller wolf and grinding the maddeningly hard erection against the one he could feel. Roman’s hands moved between them, gripping at Dallas' hardening erection through his sweats and sparking a gasp and a groan from the smaller wolf. He moved quickly to gripping the smaller wolf’s sweat pants and jerking them down so that Dallas could step out of them easier while the Omega removed his shirt.

For a moment, with the Omega bared before him, lips bruised from being properly and thoroughly kissed, his cheeks bright and eyes full of lust, Roman thought he might not be able to contain himself. He groaned; his erection twitching in his pants as he considered the wolf before him for a moment, his hands reaching out to grab Dallas once more, though the Omega stalled him with a sultry little smile.

“No,” Dallas purred in tones turned sultry by his need. “Let me see you, too.”

Roman was taken aback just enough that he did not recoil at the command and instead allowed Dallas to teasingly stroke his fingers over the erection straining at his jeans. He shuddered as fingers traced a line down, then up; and when the Omega finally unbuttoned and unzipped his fly with equal leisure, the anticipation was almost too much. He braced his hands against the door on either side of Dallas' shoulders, keeping himself from simply grabbing the Omega and taking him.

Dallas for his part teased just a little longer before he slid his hand down into the jeans and briefs, and pulled the Alpha’s member free, stroking over the silken skin with gentle fingers. He clearly hadn’t realized Roman was quite that big, his eyes growing wide at the sight of the manhood in his hand. Roman bowed his head, taking in a ragged breath, and Dallas took the chance to lean into him, his lips finding the Alpha’s. Dallas let the shudder of relief run down his spine as he felt Roman’s tongue play eagerly along his lips. The wolf needed him, and Dallas wasn’t about to take ‘no’ for an answer. It was his turn to remove Roman’s shirt, shucking it off and groaning in delight as his hands trailed over the corded muscle of his pecs, his rock hard abs and down to the erection that lay against his belly.

“I want you,” growled the Alpha, gripping the door hard enough to make it groan, his muscles taut with the strain.

“Yeah? I need you, Roman,” Dallas whispered against his neck, letting his lips wander down his neck. His hand carded through Roman’s hair as the other hand stroked the blonde’s throbbing erection. “I need you on top of me—I want you to fuck me,” he groaned, pressing himself against the Alpha so he could not only see but feel the need the Omega held for him.

Roman could hold on no longer and found himself suddenly encircling the Omega with his arms, picking him up and leaning the Omega’s back against the door as Dallas wrapped his legs around Roman’s thick waist, finding himself spread wide.

The Alpha wasted no time shucking his jeans low. Dallas knew Roman didn’t care if they stayed on; but he would ease them down as not to let them constrict his body. He spat in his hand next and worked the saliva over his shaft, well aware the Omega’s body would lubricate itself. Yet seeing the vulnerable look on Dallas' face, he grinned a little and leaned close, letting a finger play over his exposed manhood. He traced down to play over his balls and down to the hole he was soon to fill.

Dallas gave a soft whimper of anticipation, growing into a moan and a roll of his hips in response to the touch. He arched his back until he was trembling, begging to be filled by the Alpha. He had been in control just a minute or two ago, and yet here he was—begging for Roman to fill him. He rocked his hips, stilling only when he felt the Alpha press a digit into him. He flinched, expecting pain, but when it did not come and Roman was able to slip first one finger in then two with little friction, he found himself in wonder. How had he done that?

Roman chuckled low in his chest, his fingers beginning to work in and out of the Omega. He was clearly taken off guard by his body’s own natural lubricant, and Roman took advantage of the fact. He continued to pump his fingers in and out of the Omega, his hand moving faster and faster with every thrust. He could feel Dallas' hips bucking, greedily taking in his fingers with increasingly more rushed abandon until the Omega was moaning and whimpering with desire. Roman watched his manhood throb and twitch with building release, stopping only when he knew the Omega was close.

Dallas gave a pained whimper when Roman pulled his fingers free, his eyes meeting the Alpha’s with hunger and confusion in equal parts. Roman chuckled, leaning forward to kiss the Omega. “You want my cock?” he rumbled, voice so deep he could scarcely be heard so much as felt. Dallas nodded enthusiastically, kissing him lustily once more. Roman rubbed his erection against the young wolf’s entrance, slowly grinding and teasing with the head of his shaft.

“Beg.”

“Please, Roman—I need you. I need your cock inside me! I need you to fuck me—I need you to fill me up. I want to feel how thick your cock is while you spread me open…Please—” he whispered, his cheeks aflame as he begged, his eyes downcast to watch as Roman teased him.

Roman chuckled and cut him off with a kiss, his tongue dominating the Omega’s and guiding the kiss into something worth panting over. He pulled away a moment later so they could watch together as Roman’s cock began to disappear into the Omega. He had to try to press the head in slowly, but once he’d managed, he sat for a second or two before pressing his girth into the Omega. Dallas cried out, groaning and writhing as Roman held him. He slid his arms under Dallas' legs, leaning his back on the door so he could spread him almost painfully wide as he sunk inch after inch of his thick member into his lover’s waiting hole. He could feel just how tight Dallas was, his entrance gripping the shaft and squeezing nearly to the point of uncomfortableness. Roman growled in pleasure, already halfway in.

“Y-you’re s-so big—” Dallas panted, writhing atop the cock slowly filling him. Roman eased himself in with barely held restraint, watching the Omega’s face change from apprehension to desire. He groaned as he watched the full length of Roman’s dick take him, filling him more fully than any man before him. Only when Roman’s hips were flush with the Omega’s rear did he stop pressing himself in, instead allowing Dallas to get accustomed to the size and girth of his shaft. He rocked his hips in tiny shallow thrusts, his hand slipping between them to stroke Dallas' dick.

Dallas' body jerked and bucked against the fingers stroking gently over him. He whimpered and arched, bucking harder as he felt the Alpha’s member twitch within him. He could feel his own erection throbbing in Roman’s hand as his clever fingers teased over the flare of the head of his dick, then down to the base of his shaft, stroking him with ever-intense motions. Finally he could take no more and, rocking his hips in a harsh motion, pulled nearly off of Roman’s phallus and forced himself back down. For a moment, he thought Roman might let him struggle to fuck himself on the Alpha’s erection while he watched.

Fortunately, he was lucky. Roman grabbed his thighs and spread them wide, nearly pressing his knees to his forehead. Then he began to thrust—it wasn’t gentle, but it certainly wasn’t rough. He groaned as he pressed tight against the little wolf, his rhythm starting out as a punishing pace. He hadn’t expected to feel as if he’d reach his end quickly, yet here he was, concerned he might come long before he wanted to. Of course, it was his wolf that reminded the Alpha that the Omega was his and that he could come and stuff him full again whenever he wished. Perhaps if Roman weren’t so terribly distracted he would argue with the wolf, but not now; he ignored it completely. He began to slip his hands lower, instead.

The Omega knew what he was doing and squirmed down the wall, flinching when it became slightly uncomfortable but would allow the Alpha to grab him by the rear and thrust more thoroughly. In fact, the motion did allow just that. Dallas cried out as the pace increased again, his body jerking with each intense thrust. He was panting shortly, unable to get his voice back for more than a few small cries. He shuddered as he felt Roman pick up the pace again, until it was hard enough he could barely moan.

The lewd sound of Roman’s balls slapping against the Omega’s ass added just one more note in the symphony of their lovemaking. He knew that Roman was close, his body covered in a light sheen of sweat. He trembled visibly, his jaw tight as he strained not to hurt the Omega. He was working them both into a frenzy, both trying not to come first, for fear of being unable to please their partner after.

Finally, Roman caved. He slammed into the abused body of the Omega. He pressed yet harder into him, his thrusts becoming shallow until he slammed in a handful of times more before burying himself to the hilt inside the Omega as he came. Dallas groaned as he felt shot after shot fill him. He could feel the Alpha’s seed deep inside him, and his cock twitched in response.

“I haven’t…” he began softly.

“I know.” Roman rocked his hips again, keeping himself buried deep inside the little wolf when he reached between them to stroke and tease the Omega. Again Dallas began to buck his hips as Roman stroked him. He gently worked the Omega, intent to have him finish. He moved his hips into the young wolf again, his body shuddering a moment as Dallas began to orgasm, his body clutching the Alpha’s dick still deep within him as he moaned and shot thick ropes of his seed along his own belly and up his chest.

When he was done, the Alpha kept stroking slowly. He did not cease throughout, only gently playing and teasing the shaft in his grip, rumbling in pleasure.

“Good boy.” he said softly, kissing the Omega’s face.

“Good boy yourself,” hissed the Omega, his eyes closing.

Roman gave an amused smile before slipping his arms around the dark haired man and walking him to the couch, never letting him go. Only once he’d pulled his quickly softening cock from the new wolf did he let him down. He lay Dallas on the couch cushions, grabbing a blanket to wrap around him, then fixed his pants into place again.

Roman sat at the end, watching the exhausted Omega. Dallas looked happy, content and fulfilled. Yet Dallas kept his eye on the man, half hoping for an opportunity to do more than just a single roll in the hay—he had wanted several. Yet Roman shook his head with a sigh, reaching out to stroke his fingers through the soft dark hair of the Omega who lay spent upon his couch.

“I’ll catch something for dinner.”

“Catch a pizza.”

“That’s not going to happen. I can catch a couple rabbits.”

“No, that’s disgusting—No, no. I need something like…pancakes. Maybe actually soup…oh! I know where I want to go—The Cliff House. It’s a good restaurant. They sell stuff like roast duck! Besides, they also have rabbit! We can go and you can eat your trash animals like you want, and I can eat real and good food.”

“You’re impossible, Dallas.”

“No, you’re impossible. We don’t need to eat woodland creatures all the time.”

Roman gave a amused snort, and as he stayed, leaning over Dallas to run his fingers through the fine dark hair of the Omega, Dallas smiled up at him. Roman placed a kiss on his shoulder and nuzzled him briefly before he sat back up. “Fine; fine we can go out somewhere nice.”

He stood after one last kiss and waved Dallas towards the stairs.

“Get changed, and we can go.”

He didn’t need to tell the Omega twice.
