Blue Alien Prince's Mate: A Sci-Fi Alien Romance (Royally Blue - Celestial Mates Book 3) by Zara Zenia (6)

Chapter 6

Togtulir

I decided to take Cindy on a trip across the island, so we could make our plans for the future. I was feeling both grateful and relieved that I had not scared her off quite yet, but I felt that there was still some convincing I needed to do to prove to her about myself and my people before we journeyed back to the mainland of Cardalph.

It took us almost half the day to get to the other side of the island by walking. I carried her most of the way because I knew she would become fatigued. I brought food supplies and a tent that we could sleep in because it would become too intensely cold at night for us to walk back the same day.

Once we arrived, Cindy was able to see how worth it the trip across had been, by the magnificent landscape that surrounded us. There were two small marshes overlooking the deep, vast ocean. There were yellow daisies lining the marsh that outlined the pink sand in the most picturesque setting.

“Come with me.” I took Cindy’s hand and we walked to a dock I had created that led into the pond. We sat at the edge with the sun warming our backs, and splashed our ankles in the cool water. It would have been much too cold to swim in, but it was wonderful to dip our feet in for refreshment.

“I can’t believe how beautiful this island is. Are you sure we can’t stay here forever?” Cindy joked and stroked my inner thigh, sending a rush of blood to my cock that was hard for me to ignore.

Without thinking, I gently brought her face to mine and began kissing her softly on the neck and collarbone. I breathed in the aroma and scent of her silky brown hair. She smelled like fresh lavender. She was irresistible to me and delicious beyond measure. Even though we had only known each other for a few days now, our lush surroundings spoke to me in the most romantic way, and I could feel it charging through Cindy as well.

I laid her down on the dock so she was on her back, and spread her legs. I pulled back her panties to tease her and fingered her clit until she begged me to enter her. As soon as my cock throbbed inside her silky and soaked pussy, she came, crying out wildly, the veins in her neck showing through her skin. I held onto her so she could finish her climax without falling off the dock.

After a few minutes with her legs spread open and me thrusting in between them, my orgasm hit, leaving me shaking and convulsing with pleasure.

“I can’t believe how natural this feels, even though we haven’t even known each other that long.” Cindy’s words mirrored the way I felt inside, but I was so worn out from the fuck session that I couldn’t speak yet.

I just nodded and reached behind her for my backpack that had water in it. Once we had sated our thirst, physically and metaphysically; I knew I had to explain to her how things worked on my planet so that she wouldn’t be afraid of the unknown.

“Cindy, I want to tell you a story that will open your eyes to the world you are about to enter. It begins with my father, a true hero of Cardalph who made it his life’s purpose to protect and defend the people who live there.”

Cindy looked at me and brought her knees up, hugging them between her arms. Her beautiful hair blew around her face in the breeze. I pulled a few strands back and gently placed them behind her ear and continued.

“I grew up on Cardalph, and I will admit that it was a life filled with everything a young boy could dream of. I had butlers waiting on me hand and foot. I lived in the lap of luxury with the world at my feet, coming from royalty on our planet. I still have all these things today. But even still, I didn’t grow up being spoiled by my parents, especially not my father. I was trained to be a warrior to protect and defend not only myself but my family too. My family doesn’t just include my blood relations; it’s all the people living on my planet too.”

I took another swig of my water, feeling parched. “The galaxy is filled with things you’ve never heard of; indescribable destruction has taken place. But through the hardships, we’ve continued to endure as a planet, but there have also been miraculous redemptions. Over the course of my father’s brave leadership, he has imparted his wisdom to me and saved countless lives in the process.”

I waited to see if Cindy was taking it all in. She appeared engrossed by the story, so I pressed on, while I thumbed a piece of wood that had come loose from the dock. “Stop it, before you get a splinter, silly.” She took my hand in hers and held it there. It was a warm gesture I needed because discussing my father’s death was extremely difficult.

Taking a deep breath, I went on. “I recently lost the most important person in my life, that being my father. Since his passing, I’ve felt a huge gaping hole in my heart that I was not able to fill until I laid eyes on you, Cindy. I honestly believe you are the one who can help me conquer my destiny and save my world.”

Cindy looked concerned. “What happened to your father, if you don’t mind me asking?”

“He was killed in a battle against the Daklins.” I stared out at the pond and struggled to prevent any tears from freeing themselves and spilling down my cheeks. I didn’t want to show weakness in front of my new flame.

“Who are the Daklins?”

“They are a neighboring planet and mortal enemies of Cardalph. They are on a power trip and want to take over the world. They had a brigade of their own soldiers who came to our planet without us knowing. They had the advantage because we weren’t expecting them. A battle was drawn in our capital and my father died at the head of that war. You don’t even realize it Cindy, but the reason there was still an earth for you and all your loved ones to live on is because my father has held this galaxy in place for all these years. The Daklins are a looming threat that must be destroyed, or else they are going to try to take over every planet in this entire galaxy. They are pure evil, and they must be stopped. I’m the only one in line—front and center to make sure they are not successful.”

“Where do I fall into this picture? Am I in danger?” Cindy let go of my hand for the first time and I longed for her to continue holding on to me.

“No, you are not in any danger, baby. You need to trust me that Cardalph is the safest place besides Earth you could live. In fact, you may even be more sheltered in Cardalph than on Earth, because the people on my planet are gentle, nurturing, and peaceful. They will welcome you with open arms and will be grateful that I’ve found a bride to stand by me to the end. There is no judgment there, only the intense drive to cushion any blow that the Daklins throw in our direction.”

Cindy interjected a statement at that moment, interrupting me briefly. “But humans are peaceful too. If we knew what was going on out there in the universe, we could help. You would have a better chance with a more sizable and substantial army, right?”

I tried to tread neutral waters with my response because I didn’t want to say anything harsh that would put her on the defensive. “Humans are more of a destructive species. I don’t mean that in a hateful or hurtful way, but given their history of war, it is probably for the best if they remain none the wiser of what’s going on in outer space.”

Cindy nodded as if she might be in agreement, and I allowed my shoulders to relax a little. I took her hands back in mine and gazed into her eyes with an outpouring of truth gushing from me. “I cannot allow my father’s death to be in vain. He trained me so that I would be capable of following in his valiant footsteps. At first, I didn’t think I would have what it took because I had a span of several years where I went through a bad boy stage. I only thought about myself. Unfortunately, it took the death of my father to wake me up from my party haze. If you are willing to give Cardalph a chance, I can prove to you how much you will love it there.”

She gazed off into the distance looking contemplative. “Can I think about it?” she asked after a few minutes of silence which felt like an eternity of time to me.

“Think about what?” I began to get nervous, but I was strong. I could handle whatever life threw at me, I had learned that much.

“I want to be a part of your planet. I want to see what it looks like, how people live. I want to see the day to day and intermingle with your kind. But if I get afraid, I want the option to leave.” She looked at me with an expression that meant she was serious, and I gulped.

“I want you to be comfortable. I’ll allow you to do whatever you feel is right. That is part of my upbringing. I may not have always shown it appropriately in my most recent past, but I was raised to respect other people’s opinions and choices.”

I didn’t want to go into too much intricate detail about how I had been a player and a womanizer. I also withheld the fact that I had a lot of proving to do to my own people who weren’t exactly confident in my leadership abilities given my track record. I was embarrassed by my past and I hoped none of it would be exposed and make her jump ship. If she decided to go back to Earth, I would be devastated. I would do whatever it took to convince her to stay with me. Now that I had her here, I wasn’t sure I could let her go.

“Why don’t we try and go set up the tent?” I offered as a way to change the subject a bit.

“That sounds good.” Cindy gave me a warm smile and I felt that I was off the hook for now.

We ate dinner in the tent, a feast of fish and rice that was easily portable for the long expedition over to this side of the island. The tent had a clear covering over the top that allowed us to peer up at the stars. After we had finished our meal, we lay together star-gazing. Cindy was in the crook of my arm, burrowed in against the cold. I tried to keep her warm by providing a nook for her to nestle into.

“I wonder if your stars are the same as my stars,” she said dreamily. She sounded drowsy, and I couldn’t help but feel tired as well. We had trekked a long way in the pink sand today and had fucked on the dock. After an animated conversation about my past, I felt a little exhausted and depleted. I was content to just lay here with her for the rest of the night, drifting off while staring at the sky.

“I’m sure some of the stars are shared.” I smiled at the thought that we could have been looking out at the same environment worlds apart.

“You were out there, and I didn’t even know it.” Cindy’s words made my heart thump with merriment. I took her hand and kissed each knuckle on both of her hands. She sighed softly, and I thought about how terrific it felt to have a female companion who would make me think and challenge me. I was done wasting time on the mooching girls I’d dated in the past who just wanted a good fuck buddy and to sleep in a palace. I was getting older, and I was ready to settle down and prove to my planet I could be just as supreme as the father whose shadow I was desperately trying to crawl out from under.

“I’m glad the universe brought us together,” I whispered and kissed the top of her head. Glad was an understatement. I was glistening and floating on air.
