Chapter 8
December, 20th, 2006
Jenni walked into the interview room to find that Ethan was already waiting for her. She didn’t say anything as she sat down, even though she could feel his eyes on her. She looked up; when she was sure that she was comfortable and spoke quietly. “We need to do this soon,” she told him. “I don’t have many questions left on the list and they’ll grow suspicious if you start answering them any slower than you are now.”
Ethan nodded. “So, what do we do?”
“I think I’ve got a plan,” Jenni told him.
“Is it a good plan?”
She didn’t say anything for a moment. “It’s, um… it’s a plan,” she tried not to sound worried. “I’ve mixed up some more of the medication I’ve gave you. I’m going to bring it in on my next round of interviewing, which will be in a few days.”
“Why?”
“There’s a security system in here that is impervious to all cyber-attacks. It’s powered by the main electrical board, but it also has three backup systems. There is no delay, when the backup systems start. If the system detects an attack, it will shut down the bunker and put it into lockdown. If the bunker goes into lockdown, then it can only be opened by the outside by the request of a secret password, which only Mr. Roger knows.”
Ethan shook his head. “I don’t understand. How are we going to get out of here?”
“There’s a flaw in the security system,” Jenni smiled. “In the case of a fire, the bunker cannot go into lockdown. All the doors will remain open and the whole building will be forced to evacuate. The main security desk is upstairs. The people manning the cameras will be some of the first to leave the building. After they’ve gone, you’ll be able to leave through the back of the building and fly out into the forest that starts about a mile away from here. That’s where I’ll meet you.”
“So, am I the one starting the fire?” he asked, as he soaked in her plan.
“Yes, it’s going to have to be you. They’re pumping you with drugs to keep you in your human form. The medication I made should work to reverse what the drugs are doing to you. You should be able to transform and when you do, you need to set as much of this place on fire, as you can.”
“What about you? What are you going to be doing?”
“I’m going to leave the cell they put you back into unlocked and then I’m going to get out of here. You don’t need to worry about me. Just make sure you’re okay.”
“I can’t believe this is actually happening,” he reached across the table and stroked the side of her cheek. She turned into his hand, so she could enjoy the heat that was radiating from him.
“It needs to happen soon,” she pulled away from his touch. “I’ll have no questions to ask you after today., They’re going to be arranging your execution. I think the best day would be the New Year’s Eve. The staff count should be low, so there’s less chance of anybody getting hurt.”
Ethan smiled at her warmly.
“What are you smiling at?” she asked him curiously. The talk of preparing to break out the bunker was hardly something to be happy about. It was going to be hard and dangerous. There was a good chance that they would fail and his execution would be moved forward.
“You,” he shrugged. “You’re here trying to break me out of this place, because they want to kill me. And, yet, you want to make sure that nobody gets hurt in the process.” He stood up and walked around the table. “You have the biggest heart that I’ve seen in your kind,” he held his hand over her beating heart. She could feel the throbbing of his heat beat against her skin.
He slowly sank down to his knees, so his eyes were level with hers. “I just don’t want to see anybody get hurt,” she told him quietly.
He nodded. “I know that,” he whispered against her lips, before he brought his own down onto them. Jenni found his rhythm straight away. Theirs mouths parted and fell closed in unison, as Ethan’s hand slowly stroked up Jenni’s leg. “I’ve waited so long to feel to your lips on mine,” he said breathlessly, as he pulled away from her. His hand didn’t move from her leg. “I saw the beauty in you from the moment I shifted.”
Jenni laughed. “You hated me when you first shifted.”
“I did not hate you,” he shook his head softly and brought his lips down to where his hand was. “I was simply grumpy from the painful shift,” he kissed the inside of her thigh sending shivers up her spine. “But, I didn’t hate you.”
“Sure seemed like you did,” Jenni’s head fell back, as his lips moved further up, until there was only her panties sitting between her and his hot, hard tongue that had started to flick across her sensitive skin.
“Did it really?” he asked, as his fingers slowly pushed away her panties. She could feel him dipping into her wet, warmth with slow, pleasure filled strokes. “Because, I seem to remember only wanting to talk to you,” he quickened his fingers, so that she took a sharp intake of breath.
“I guess that’s true,” Jenni said, as she tried to hold back the moans, which were rippling through her chest and crashing up her throat. The sound of a zipper filled the room and Jenni found Ethan’s lips returning to hers. She could taste herself on his tongue, as he kissed her deeply, bringing his hardening dick up to meet her. Her moans escaped in loud, unashamed bursts, as he thrust into her.
