Creed: Ruthless Bastards (RBMC Book 5) by Chelsea Handcock (23)

Six Months Later

Damn, Tessa was rushing around the house trying to get things cleaned up.  She had worked a double and was dead on her feet, but Creed was supposed to be home today.  Or at least, she hoped he would be.  He’d been gone for three months on a mission.  She hated not knowing where he was or what he was doing.

That wasn’t exactly true, she knew what he was doing.  He was trying to find Tuck.  All the RBMC were, only a few members were still in Defiance.  Tess had gotten to know several of the women and liked it here.  But she liked it better when Creed was around.  When the knock at the door came, she stopped in her tracks.  This wasn’t good.  Creed wouldn’t have knocked.

Walking slowly to the door, she saw Addy, Carri, Reagan, and Cathy and knew right then and there, Creed wasn’t coming home.  Damn it.  Opening the door, Carri burst in like the ball of fire she always was.

“Oh, get that look off your face, we brought wine,” she said, holding up a huge bottle in both hands.  Yeah, this was bad, normally, they only brought over one bottle.

Addy waddled in—the poor woman about to burst—Cathy helping her, and Reagan filed in behind them, a smile on her face, but Tessa could tell she’d been crying.

“Tell me,” she questioned before any of them made it past the foyer.  Her new home with Creed wasn’t big, but it did have a nice little entryway.  Creed had decorated it himself, it was black and orange with models of bikes and pictures of bikes, go figure.  Not her thing, but hey, it was the only room in the house that she gave him free reign to do anything he wanted.  Well, that and the basement.  It also made her feel good that he put his stamp on the first thing anyone saw coming into their home.  Like he was making a statement, this is mine.  It might not be her thing, but she loved it and what it represented.

“They aren’t coming back tonight. I’m supposed to tell you Creed will call you later,” Reagan said.  “Crash came in about an hour ago and told us.”  Shit, this sucked.  Tessa followed behind the women as they made themselves at home.

“Let me get some glasses. Addy, what would you like to drink, I have coke, water, or juice?”

“I want some of that wine, but I’ll settle for juice as long as you put in a wine glass, so I can pretend.”

“You got it.”  Tessa went into the kitchen, thankful, for the first time, it wasn’t open to the family room.  She didn’t want her friends to see her cry.  She was supposed to be stronger than this.  When she smelled Cathy’s perfume and felt her arms go around her, she broke a little more.

“Get it out, Tess, get it out now, so when you talk to your man, he knows you’re home, waiting for him.  Wishing him well and not hurting.”

“How do you do it, Cathy?  It hurts more and more every day he’s gone.  It’s like a piece of me is missing.”

“Hon, we just do.  None of us like it and all of us are torn up.  But we put on our big girl panties, drink some wine, share our misery with our friends, and above all else, support our men.  Now clean yourself up and get those glasses, we have a surprise for you.”

Tessa did as Cathy said, grabbing the wine glasses and getting Addy’s juice.  When she went into the room, she heard her doorbell ring.  What now? When the man walked in, she almost dropped everything.  Cathy was standing next to him, but Carri was practically bouncing with excitement. Tessa knew exactly who the man was, Jinx.

“I’m going to need a lot more wine if what you’re planning is going to happen.”

“That’s why we got two,” Carri explained, holding the bottles up like they were the answer to everything with a huge smile on her face.  Tessa could only laugh. Taking one of the bottles from Carri she walked over to the couch and sat down.

“Well, I suggest we get this party started because if he’s going to touch my ass,” Tessa said pointing to Jinx, “then I’m going to need more than a few glasses.”

“Hey,” Jinx said, the normally stoic man, then winked, “lots of women have paid me to touch their asses.”

Everyone in the room burst out laughing.

Tessa had met most of the RBMC in the last few months, but Jinx seemed to be a constant fixture.  He was a good-looking man—tall and built just like all the other members of the RMBC.  Tessa had even asked Cathy if it was a requirement. She always thought most bikers were on the heavier side, gruffer, at least most of the ones she had met in her life had been.  Well, except her brothers.  Just thinking about her brothers, she realized both of them had gone off and made families for themselves.  It stung a little, but she was happy for them, now even more so.  Shaking herself out of those thoughts, she listened to the playful banter going around the room.

“Really, Jinx, how much do you usually charge for the honor,” Carri asked.

“Sweetheart, it depends on the lady. For you four, well three—sorry, Addy, but your ass is safe until that baby is born—I would do it for free.  I’ve been told I have a firm but gentle touch.  Hits the ladies in all the rights spots.”

“That’s okay Jinx,” Addy smiled, rubbing her huge belly, “I don’t think Whiskey would be all that thrilled with the idea of your firm but gentle hands touching my ass.”

“Oh, Sugar, what the man doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”

Reagan was laughing so hard, she was on the floor, and could barely get the words out, “But Jinx, Sugar Baby Darlin, you know they might hurt you.”

“Nah, those boys are going to get one look at my work and forget all about my hands.  But I won’t.”

“Eww, Jinx, that was just a little,” Tessa held her fingers half an inch, “too far.”

“Maybe, Sweetie,” Jinx smiled and winked again.  “Who’s first?”

Carri jumped up, almost spilling her wine, undoing her pants.  Tessa had a moment of hesitation, she couldn’t remember what underwear she put on this morning.  Damn, it would be embarrassing if she’d picked up one of her granny panties.  Since she was still wearing scrubs, she pulled the waistband out a little and was relieved, they were one her better choices; the white thong would work perfectly.

Jinx started setting up a station and cleaning his equipment.  Tessa wonder exactly where he was going to do the deed when he said, “Bend over the back of the couch, that will work best.”

Tessa could tell with all of Carri’s bravado, she was also a little freaked because she was rambling.  Jinx just took it all in nodding his head.  Carri was explaining what she wanted and then asked, “Do you do piercing too?”

“Yep, but you three are only allowed to get face, ear, or belly piercings without your men present. That will get this pretty face messed up.”

“But you will at least have those soft but firm hands,” Carrie laughed. “No worries.”

“Do you have man jewelry?” Reagan blurted out.

“Man jewelry?” Jinx question perplexed.

“Yeah, you know, down there, and if you do, who did it?” Reagan asked.

“Hon, I think you need to slow down on that wine.  My man jewelry or lack of it will just have to remain a mystery,” Jinx answered while was cleaning Carri's butt cheek.  He didn’t look up, and he changed from being playful to serious.  This must be his work face, and for some reason, that helped Tessa calm down a little.  She was still freaked, but she knew Creed would love it or hoped he would, so she was going to do it. Jinx’s going into professional mode helped.

“I’ve seen his man jewelry, and let me tell you, girl, he’s decorated even more than Crash.  I was almost scared for that poor girl he was with, but she was screaming her fool head off,” Cathy laughed. Jinx looked startled, then the man actually blushed, making Cathy laugh harder.

“Now, that’s enough out you Cath.  I can’t have you telling all my secrets.”

Addy nudged Cathy with her shoulder and whispered, “When did you see it?”

“You guys realize I’m right here, and Cathy, you know what happens at the Clubhouse stays at the Clubhouse,” Jinx censured.

“Honey,” Cathy waved her hand at him, “if you would keep it in your pants at the Clubhouse, I wouldn’t have seen it.  Makes your dangly bits fair game as far as I am concerned.”

Reagan high-ived Cathy and said, “Yep.”

Jinx just shook his head, “You four are trouble.”

“Trouble you love,” Cathy said, smiling back, raising her glass.”

Tessa just sat back and took it all in.  She loved being a part of a family.  There were still issues. Tuck was MIA, and it scared the shit out of her.  She and Creed were still getting to know each other, but they loved each other, and every day that loved grew stronger.  Caine was trying, he called her several times a month.  At first, it was awkward, but they were getting better at small talk.  He refused to talk about Cinny, and that hurt a little, but their history was their own, and Tessa didn’t pry.  She missed Cinny though and could see her sitting in the room right now, drinking wine, teasing everyone, and having a good time.  Tessa just hoped wherever she was, she was safe and happy.

Several hours later Tessa felt the bed dip and got a whiff of freshly showered man.  She went to turn over but flinched.  Then she started crying; Creed was home. Getting to her knees, she draped herself over him, kissing every inch of him she could reach.

“They said you weren’t coming, that you wouldn’t be back, and you didn’t call.”

“I know, babe. We had a break in the case, and Link called us all back.  I don’t know how long I’ll be here, but I wanted to get here as soon as I could, so I didn’t stop to call. Forgive me.”

“Yes!  You’re here, you’re really here.”

Creed cupped her ass, and Tessa flinched again.

“What the hell is going on, did you get hurt, Tess?”

Tess back away, shaking her head, she could still feel the fuzziness from the wine. She pinched Creed’s nipple hard, and Creed grabbed her

“Babe, what is wrong with you?”

“Well, I just had to make sure.”

“Make sure about what?” he asked, still rubbing away the sting from her pinch.

“I had to make sure I didn’t make you up, and I didn’t exactly get hurt, I kind of did something.” For some reason, Tessa couldn’t look Creed in the eyes when she said she’d done something, but she wasn’t sure how he was going to take it.  He hadn’t exactly asked her to be his Ol’ Lady, and it was a very Ol’ Lady thing to do.  If he didn’t like it or want that, she was screwed.

“Babe?”

“Well, see, the girls came over and brought some wine, and we all decided to do something for you guys.  So, Jinx came over, and it’s nothing really big, just a little something.”  Tessa was rambling, and Creeds smile kept on getting bigger.

Tessa found herself on her belly with her pajama pants pulled down and could feel the pull of Creed removing the bandage from her ass.  All Tessa could think was this was freaking embarrassing.  Not at all what she had planned when she let that bastard attack her with that tattoo gun.  She was going to make it special—let it heal and when he got home, she planned on letting him find it for himself or flashing him with it and see what he would do.  But nope, totally not what happened.

“Babe, you do know that my name is spelled with two ‘ee,’ not an ‘ea’ right?”

“What!?!”  Tessa pushed Creed off her and went to the mirror, desperately trying to see her ass and the tattoo that fucker Jinx had given her.  If he fucked it up, she was going to fuck him up.

Creed was laughing so hard, he had tears running down his face.

“Babe, get that fine ass over here, and let me look again I might have misread it, you know Jinx isn’t the smartest guy, his hand might have slipped or something.”

“Oh, hell no!”  Tessa stormed into the bathroom and grabbed a hand mirror. Standing on the bathtub, she tried to see her ass, but it wasn’t working, and Creed, the big fat jerk, was still laughing.  She was going to kill someone.  Stomping back to the mirror in the bedroom, Tessa contorted her body until she could see the tattoo, but Creed was standing in front of her now.

“Babe, it’s perfect, and it goes with this.”  Creed handed her a box. Tessa looked at him questioningly but opened it, and inside was a leather vest only the back showing.  It said Property of Creed.

“Do you mean it?”

“Yeah, babe, I want to you ride with me until we’re no longer breathing, and then I want you to ride into the next life, right by my side. Will you be my Ol’ Lady?”

“Yes! With everything, I am yes! I love you so much.”

“Good because I want you naked except that cut and on your hands and knees, baby.  I want to see that ass jiggle as I pound the fuck out of you and watch my name dance across your ass.”

Creed and Tessa got their happy ending, but there’s still more to come with the RBMC.  You have questions, and I have answers, but you’re going to have to wait.  When I write these books, I do it with the intention of bringing the main characters together but leaving a little mystery behind.  I hope you enjoyed Creed.  This will not be the last you hear of them or their story.

The End – For now!  The RBMC will be back with Brass’s story.  The Blacktop Renegades will be getting their own stories as well, Jackal will be the first.
