Fighting for Chloe by Eva Jones, Harper Phoenix (21)

Dom

CHLOE IS JUST about falling apart beneath me, her walls clenching, and the heels of her feet digging in to pull my ass closer. A knock on the door pauses my thrust mid push. I just need another minute to get us both off, but the second we hear it the moment disappears. Chloe starts scrambling out from beneath me.

‘Oh god, Dom, I feel so bad now.’ she whispers into my neck.

‘Hey, people have sex in all kinds of fucked up situations, nothing wrong with what we just did.’ I reassure her while pushing my delicate erection into my boxers.

‘Aside from the fact that you have a massive bulge in your pants.’ she motions to my cock as she throws her top on, there is no way of hiding it, or getting rid of it with someone hammering down the door, we’re both still trying to get dressed when the knocking stops. Chloe almost kills herself pulling up her jeans and trying to take a step before her feet are all the way through, luckily she stops herself from face planting and scrambles to her feet and out through the bedroom door. A figure looms large outside the bedroom window and I jump. Andre. Fuck me. I motion for him to go back around front and then go to find Chloe who is stood at the open door, panic on her face.

‘I think he left.’

‘He didn’t he’s coming around now.’ I rub her shoulder to reassure her. I don’t know what the fuck he’s here to tell us.

He’s not even on the porch when she asks, ‘Is he okay?’

Andre smiles and I sigh in relief. ‘It’ll take more than a stray bullet to take that stubborn fucker down.’

‘Oh, thank god.’ Her hands fly to her face and she starts to cry.

‘Hey, I told you it would be okay didn’t I?’

‘I just kept thinking if that was the last time I’d see him. The last conversation we had, oh god, Dom, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.’

‘I know but it’s not, he’s good, right?’ I ask Andre.

Nodding he answers, ‘He’s good and has a pretty little nurse taking care of him.’

I bet he does. One that goes by the name Charity no doubt. ‘Any chance I could grab a coffee before I go?’

‘Of course,’ Chloe answers and we all make our way to the kitchen. ‘Was you with him all night?’ I ask him.

‘Yeah I stayed until the doc said he was out of the woods.’

‘Thank you,’ Chloe says and throws her arms around him. He looks a little surprised by it but soon relaxes and gives her a slight pat on her back. ‘You must be exhausted let me make you something to eat?’

‘No honestly I’m okay, just need some caffeine for the road, I’ll grab some food and have a few hours sleep when I get home.’ It’s funny because for some reason it didn’t even occur to me that he might actually live in the UK. Maybe he has a family? Wife and kids?

‘Do you have kids?’ Chloe asks like she read my mind.

‘Nah I have a husband but no kids.’

Well fuck I never expected him to say he was gay, he’s built like a fucking house and he’d scare most people with his dark looks and scary demeanour.

‘Wow I didn’t peg you at all.’ Chloe giggles.

‘Yeah most people are surprised.’

‘I bet women hit on you all the time, right?’ she asks. He smiles shaking his head but doesn’t deny it.

‘I better get going my better half has been blowing up my phone all morning worrying.’

‘Does he know what you do for a living?’

‘He does.’ He doesn’t elaborate anymore and honestly, I’m still reeling that he told us anything about himself at all.

‘He must worry a lot?’ Chloe adds.

Andre pops a brow and winces a little. ‘Yeah unfortunately it’s the worst part of being married to me, or so he says.’

‘I can understand completely when you were all gone, that was the worst few hours of my life.’ He smiles sympathetically, and I feel bad that she felt that way, so I pull her in for a hug.

Andre finishes up his coffee. ‘I’m going to head out.’ He lifts his cup. ‘Thanks for that.’

‘You’re more than welcome.’ Chloe tells him. We get to the front door,

‘So as soon as Mike is well enough to move, I’ll be bringing him to stay here, okay?’

‘Umm yeah,’ I answer because Chloe doesn’t. Fucking great. Just what I need. Chloe is happy though, so I don’t air my complaints.

My arms wrap around Chloe as we wave goodbye from the front step. My chin is on the warm skin of her shoulder. My dick comes back to life with unfinished business and I push up against her ass.

‘Where were we?’ I ask as she tilts her head up to kiss me.

‘Mm, I think we were at a crucial point in the game.’

‘Oh, I know we were.’ I grab her up into my arms and carry her through to the bedroom, where I toss her onto the bed while she giggles as I pull off her jeans as she thrashes about trying to get them off. Fucking skinny jeans. She has no underwear on and I nuzzle between her thighs, which elicits a moan that goes straight to my dick. As I lick and suck my way to her orgasm I try to wriggle my way out of my joggers. It’s harder than it looks and I fumble a little which makes her giggle.

‘Fuck, I didn’t want to stop.’

‘How about trying this?’ She flips me and straddles my face but that’s not the best part, she does it reverse and reaches for my dick pushing my joggers down.

‘Oh fuck yes!’

Chloe

It’s been two days since Andre came with news of my dad. This morning when I made the coffee, my ears pricked up at a car coming down the gravel driveway. Grabbing Dom, I ran out to greet my father and Andre… But they weren’t alone. Dom opened the car door and took my dad’s arm wrapping it around his shoulder to take his weight and help him to the cabin. I went to close the door and a dainty little hand stopped me. Yep, Charity.

For the past 2 hours, and despite many attempts by Dom to get me to leave, I’ve been holed up in my room avoiding everybody in the house.

Why the fuck did he bring her here?

She could have just stayed wherever they were keeping her. I’m not going to lie, it’s getting real difficult not to march up to her and punch her right in her pretty little face.

Maybe then some sense would be knocked into her.

‘Chlo, I made some dinner for all of us. Will you please just come out and get some food?’ Dom kisses me on the forehead, trying to soften the blow of what he’s trying to make me do.

‘I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep the peace, Dom. Seriously, I look at her and my dad together and my blood just boils. It’s all their fault we’re in this situation and I’m just going to let them flaunt their twisted relationship in my face? I don’t fucking think so.’

‘Calm down, baby. Just come sit and eat. We all need to go over what needs to happen next and you haven’t eaten all day. And besides, I’ll be right next to you the whole time.’ His tender lips meet mine and I know I’m going to do what he says. He’s my saviour and I know he’d only do what’s good for me.

‘Fine.’

We all attempt to sit down at the little table in the corner of the kitchen, but we don’t all fit. Andre opts to eat at the breakfast bar. Digging in, I try not to pay attention to anyone around me and just concentrate on my plate. That’s until the conversation veers to Patrick.

‘Have you got any word on where he could be now, Andre?’ Dom questions.

‘I heard earlier this evening he was hiding out in some warehouse in London. I was planning to check it out after I’m through here. I Just wanted to make sure everyone got settled first.’

‘I’m coming.’ Both Dom and my dad say at the same time.

‘Really you don’t have to. I’m just gonna do some recon and see if I can get a visual on the target.’

‘No, I want to be there. We need to move as soon as we know he’s there. We can’t be losing this fucker again.’

‘I’m in agreement. If it’s only recon, then I’m well enough to tag along.’ My dad chimes in.

‘Alright we’ll leave as soon as we’re done here.’

‘Sounds good.’ Dom replies sounds anxious to get this whole ordeal over with.

Charity and my eyes connect across the table I think we both realise we won’t get much choice in this matter. But there is one thing I can control, and that’s how I deal with her. I get up from the table and take the dishes into the kitchen. Charity grabs hers and my father’s and follows me in.

Now is the perfect time.

‘Can we speak for a moment?’ Not really giving a choice, I extend my arm towards my room and she takes the hint.

Entering, I turn and close the door. No way I want them to hear.

‘I know this isn’t normal—’

I cut her off. ‘I just have one question for you.’ Her eyes plead, but I ignore it. ‘Do you have some sort of mental impairment?’

‘Um, no.’ She looks confused, which affirms to me how young she really is.

‘Do you think it’s okay for you to be with a man in his fifties?’

‘Well... well...’

‘Let me try to put this in a way that you’d understand.’ I pinch the bridge of my nose, I can feel a migraine coming on. ‘You loved your father at one point, right? Probably still do even after all this.’ She nods her head. ‘How would you feel if he started having sex with one of your high school friends?’

‘Eww, that’s nasty. None of my friends would ever go for him though because he’s always been so mean to them.’ I can’t help the loud huff of a laugh that pops out of my mouth. I’m now realizing that this is absolutely pointless. I thought it may be but was hoping it wasn’t.

‘Okay Charity, I see that I’m not really getting through to you. So, let’s just drop it.’ My hand reaches for the silver knob of the door when I realise she’s not following behind me. The expression on her face surprises me when I turn to her.

‘Listen, Chloe. I know you don’t think much of me and I know it’s hard for you to believe that Mike and I truly love each other, but we do.’ My hand falls from the door knob and I turn to give her my full attention. ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with him. Have you ever heard that saying that age is nothing but a number when it comes to love? Well that applies here. Even if me and him weren’t thrown together under the circumstances we were, I still would have fallen for him. He’s my soulmate and I’m his.’ Her hand reaches out to rest on my shoulder, but she thinks twice and it falls halfway. ‘You may think I don’t understand where you’re coming from, but I do. I just hope one day we can work past this.’ Her face drops, unexpectedly my heart goes out to her. ‘You scare me and make me nervous, Chloe, because I know that your dad respects you and one word from you and I’d be gone. He loves you that much, whether you know it or not. He’s a great man and I’d do anything to remain in his life.’ I’m left speechless as she turns and makes her way out of the room. Wow did that really just happen? I’ll give her one thing, she sure has some lady balls on her. I can’t deny that some of the things she said truly hit home.
