Finding Peace (Silver Creek Shifters Book 3) by Jules Tyler (14)

Chapter 28

When Landon awoke the next day, Kaylene’s side of the bed was empty, but he didn’t panic since he could hear the shower running in the bathroom. Slipping out of bed, he padded over to the door and he could hear Kaylene humming to herself. The tune sounded familiar, but he couldn’t quite place it. Twisting the knob on the door, he let himself in and quietly shut the door behind him. Leaning up against the door, Landon ignored the feeling of chilled wood against his bare ass and closed his eyes. Focusing his ears, he started recognizing more and more notes, and then it dawned on him what song she was humming.

The song was a popular country song as of late. It was about a man that was singing to the woman who had broken his heart, telling her that they could make a comeback if she came back. The song was actually kind of heartbreaking, but he could see why Kaylene would latch onto that song. It was the same reason that the song he was singing the other night kept coming up. Both songs reminded them that their love existed and they wanted it back.

Stepping towards the shower curtain, Landon slid it open and stepped inside of the shower. He watched as water poured over Kaylene’s creamy white skin and golden blonde hair, the bruising on her back had faded to a faint yellow color. Water droplets framing each of his favorite features on her body. He felt his cock twitch to life between his legs and what little control he had was gone.

Kaylene gasped in surprise as he guided her backwards and rested his now fully erect member against her ass. “I thought you were asleep.”

Reaching around to tweak her nipples between his fingers, Landon purred in her ear, “I was but now I’m awake and ready to play with you again.”

“Only if I get to play with you too,” Kaylene said, her voice growing low and sultry.

“You don’t have to tell me twice, Feathers,” Landon murmured against her skin, nibbling gently at her mating scar.

Kaylene turned to face Landon, kissing him deeply as she wrapped her hand around his rock solid cock. Stroking it firmly in her hand, Kaylene kneeled in front of him and wraps her lips around the tip. Landon felt himself fighting the urge to buck into her mouth, instead wrapping his hands around the top of the shower to keep himself steady. Kaylene sucked harder, taking more of him into her mouth with every forward motion until finally all of him was throbbing inside of her throat. As she worked into a rhythm on his cock, Landon felt the control he had slowly slipping away.

“Fuck, Kaylene, I’m not going to be able to hold on if you keep doing that,” Landon hissed between his clenched teeth as he laced his fingers through her soaking wet hair, trying to pull her away from him.

“Good,” Kaylene purred, rocking forward with her mouth again, this time adding a little pressure to the vein that ran the length of the underside of his cock.

A growl escaped Landon’s lips; he couldn’t take it anymore. Stooping down, his long hair fell in front of him in a curtain as he pulled Kaylene upright and turned her away from him. Pushing down on her shoulders with the warm water pouring over them both, Landon guided his cock to her deliciously wet entrance and plunged inside.

Wrapping his hands around her waist, he pulled her onto his throbbing cock. He could feel that he was just on the cusp of coming, but wasn’t quite ready to be finished. Being sure to go slowly, he slid out of her slowly before diving back into her hard. They had always fit together perfectly, and now was no exception.

“Yes, Landon, yes. Fuck me, baby,” Kaylene whimpered in pleasure, rocking her hips back against him.

That did him in; the pleasure surged through Landon’s body and he reached around the front of Kaylene to pinch her clit between his fingers as he pounded into her harder and faster. The faster he went, the more she screamed out in ecstasy until he felt her explode around him. Two more pumps was all it took and he was finished, pulsing and shaking inside of her. Once the final waves subsided, he pulled out and reached for the handheld portion of the showerhead so he could rinse them both off.

Kaylene sighed as she leaned forward against the opposite wall and let Landon rinse her off, “Can we wake up like this every morning? I’m pretty sure this works better than coffee for me.”

Landon kissed her tenderly on her mating scar and murmured, “Feathers, we can wake up however you want as long as you wake up next to me.”

“That sounds like a deal that’s almost too good to refuse,” Kaylene taunted, reaching for her loofah and soap.

“I’m sure it does, but it’s true. I’ll sign that bottom line in blood if you’d like,” Landon purred, taking the loofah from her and rubbing it down her body in circles.

“I guess I’ll just have to accept that then, won’t I?” Kaylene giggled.

“Guess so,” Landon chuckled.
