Five Gold Rings: A Winter Romance (Vale Valley Book 5) by Xander Collins (8)

Chapter 8

Rafe

The two of them glanced at each other for a moment in confusion then looked back at me. “You were the one who brought us here,” Chris said, his voice quivering slightly. “You picked us up on the side of the road, and—”

“No,” I said, with a little too much force. The two of them jumped in their seats, so I tried to take things down a notch. But it was hard with that incredible scent hanging in the air. I could barely think straight the moment the omega set foot in the room. “No,” I said more softly this time. “I meant, what exactly brought you to Vale Valley?”

“I don’t know,” Chris said, still looking confused. “We were just driving. We had reservations at a lodge not too far from here. It was a ski lodge and there was no snow. There was no snow anywhere. Not for miles and miles. So we left, and we just drove, and I decided to take one of the secondary highways. I figured it would be more scenic.”

Chris stopped talking and stared at me like a deer caught in headlights.

“And?” I asked. “You weren’t looking for this place?”

“No, I didn’t even see it on my GPS. We were driving, and … well, Jason looked out the window and he said he saw snow, and then I saw the sign for The Dozing Dragon and decided to pull off.” Chris paused again then glanced at Jason, who was rubbing his head against his shoulder like a cat. He smiled and lifted an eyebrow, then looked back at me. “Why are you asking us these questions?”

I took another deep breath to calm myself, but I didn’t sit down. I wasn’t sure how I was going to handle this. Everything seemed to be happening far too quickly. I had Grace and our life to consider before I did anything rash, but I was having a very hard time controlling myself. Especially since the omega walked into the room covered in that delicious scent. All I could think about every time I inhaled was what they’d been doing up in that room for the last few hours.

I also felt I should tell these young men at least some of secrets of Vale Valley. Clearly, they’d been brought here, and, as hard as it was for me to admit it to myself, I was part of the reason they were here. I hadn’t been planning on getting involved with anyone at this point in my life, not at forty-five. And let alone with two younger men. But I was starting to think this was more than a coincidence. After everything I’d learned about this place, it was silly for me to ignore the signs.

But outsiders weren’t supposed to know anything about the town. Shifters and humans all swore to protect the town and its secrets. If I told these two boys about why I thought they were here, and they didn’t like what they’d heard, I’d be violating the trust the people of this town put in me. But there didn’t seem any other way than to explain at least some things about Vale Valley to them.

“I grew up in this town,” I began, “and as a child I’d heard all sorts of strange stories. Fairy tales about creatures and magic and things I chalked up to fantasies and bedtime stories. I’d seen some things that were definitely out of the ordinary, but by the time I was sent away to boarding school, I started to think it had all been in my imagination. That there was no magic in Vale Valley. I stayed away through college and another ten years while I worked in finance, only coming back here for family gatherings and holidays.

“Every once in a while, my family would tell those same stories, stories that were unbelievable and downright silly. I’d always ignore them because I’d grown out of believing in fairy tales. It wasn’t until my parents’ death I started to notice again.”

“Notice what?” Chris asked, skepticism still evident in his tone. He really did remind me of myself at that age.

“Well, at first, it was little things I found around the house or coincidences I experienced around town. But then, when I met my mate, Garrett … all I can say is he’s the one who made me really start to believe. He told me about the creatures and the magic, the same stories I’d heard when I was a kid, but he didn’t just tell me about them, he showed me. He took me to places I didn’t know existed. So, over time, I came to believe in the secrets of Vale Valley again.”

I could see Chris didn’t believe a word I was saying, and I didn’t blame him. And I knew what I was about to say wasn’t going to be any more plausible. But I continued anyway.

“But there was one thing—one piece of lore that just seemed too fantastic to me.”

“What’s that?” Jason asked. I smiled when I saw the look of awe on his face. Of course he believed. I wouldn’t expect anything less from such a pure soul. Chris was just going to take a little more convincing.

“That Vale Valley brought people to it. But only people who needed it … and needed something they would find there.”

“Something like …” Chris said, waiting for me to tell him what it was that had apparently brought them here.

“Something like love.” I stared at these two young men and decided I had to tell them my whole truth. “You see, it wasn’t until you told me the story of how you got here that I really started to believe. It’s been my last holdout after all this time,” I said with a laugh. “I wasn’t willing to accept a town could have that kind of influence on my own life.”

“I told you there was something magic about this place,” Jason purred as he clutched Chris’s arm.

“But how do you know we were brought here?” Chris asked.

I wasn’t sure how to say it without sounding like a madman. Since the moment I laid eyes on them, I could feel the connection between the three of us. The scent of each of them alone had been incredible, but the scent of the two of them together in this room with me … somehow it made everything feel complete. These two men not only complemented each other perfectly, their combined scent enhanced everything in the room. The colors were more intense, the twinkling of the firelight in the crystal decorations brighter. The breath that came in and out of my body felt sweeter and lighter. Being in the same room with the two of them together made me feel like I was walking on air.

“You’re telling me you can’t feel it?” I asked.

And there it was. The look of realization that I’d been waiting for. Chris looked at Jason then back at me. “Yes,” he said, taking a deep breath and swallowing hard. “I can feel … something.”

“So, then, my only question for you now is … is this what you both want?” It didn’t even occur to me to be more specific about my intentions. Not when I could see the desire so clearly in both of their eyes.

“Yes,” Jason said quickly. His eyes were on mine but then darted to Chris. “We do! We do! We’ve been talking about you since the minute we saw you at The Dozing Dragon—”

Chris nudged my leg under the table. “Rafe, I don’t want you to get the wrong idea,” Chris said. “We don’t want you to think we’re here to take advantage of you in some way.”

“I don’t think that it all,” I said, a smile curling up my lips, but my brain was barely acknowledging his concerns. All I could think about was what I was going to do with these two. I could see that they wanted someone else to take control, and I was more than willing to be that person. And though I hadn’t been fully aware of it, I had been making my plans for these two since I saw the way they looked at me in The Dozing Dragon.

Jason had been easy to read. So eager and so open; I knew with just one word—or even a stern glance—he would do exactly what I asked. But Chris, he was a little more controlled and a little more shielded. I got the feeling what he needed was discipline, maybe even restraint. I had the feeling he wanted to be made to comply. As I stared into his eyes, I could see him squirm. I could see that he wanted to be dominated.

I walked around the table and stood behind Chris and Jason. There were still sitting in their chairs, facing the table, and I laid my hand on each of their shoulders. Though I was having a hard time controlling myself I wanted to take the time to make everything crystal clear.

I also wanted them to tell me what they wanted. I knew it would be hard for them, especially for Chris, and I wanted to watch them squirm just a little longer. The thought of hearing the words come out of their unwilling mouths was almost as exciting as watching them slowly reveal their hard cocks to me. Which I was looking forward to indeed.

“I just want to make sure we’re on the same page. I’d like you both to tell me what you want.”

There was a long, uncomfortable silence. I could feel both of them shifting uneasily in their seats under my firm grip. I almost felt like a stern schoolmaster with my two naughty students in detention. It was exhilarating.

The first one to speak was Jason. When he turned to look at me, drips of sweat trickled down his forehead. His bright blue eyes were almost fully dilated, the black pupils taking up more and more space as he stared up at me. “I want you to tell me what to do,” he said quickly. The boy didn’t beat around the bush.

“And what if it’s something you don’t want to do?” I asked.

“I’ll do anything you ask,” he said breathlessly.

I smiled then glanced over at Chris, who was staring at Jason with wide eyes.

“And you?” I said.

Chris swallowed hard then twisted around in his seat to look up at me. When his eyes met mine, I could see by the way they quickly darted away that he was extremely reluctant to say the words.

Perfect.

“I’m waiting.”

Chris sighed almost like a petulant child then glanced over at Jason who nudged him and gave him an incredulous look.

“I … well, I’ve never done anything like this before,” he said, finally. “I’m not sure what I want.”

“Then let me ask you a few questions. Do you enjoy pain?”

Chris swallowed again then answered. “I don’t know. Maybe a little?”

“Do you enjoy being restrained?”

“You mean tied up?”

“Yes.”

“Yeah,” he said, looking down at the floor. “I think so.”

“Sensory deprivation?”

“I’m not exactly sure what that is,” he said, looking like a boy who’d done something wrong.

“That’s okay,” I said. “We’ll get there, and you can tell me what you think.”

I paused for a moment before I asked my final question. Both Jason and I were staring at Chris now, and I could see how uncomfortable the attention made him. I was definitely going to use this information later.

“One more question,” I said. “Do you enjoy being humiliated?” I asked, leaning forward and placing a finger under his chin then lifting his head so he was forced to look me in the eyes. I paused for a moment, waiting for him to speak, then glanced down at the bulge in Chris’s jeans and smiled. “Never mind. I think I already have the answer to that question.”

There was no time like the present to start. Between the nervous looks and the incredible scent permeating the room, not to mention Jason’s sexy-as-hell sex hair—my trepidation had long gone out the window.

I wanted these two young men, and I wanted them now.

So, I unzipped my pants and my cock eagerly popped out, jutting right in between their faces, and within seconds, two sets of warm lips caressed the sensitive head.

I’d never experienced anything like it before. Two young, beautiful men licking and gently sucking on my throbbing cock. It was almost too much to take. They used their tongues and lips, coating my shaft and head with saliva then working themselves back and forth on either side. When one would move up to the head, circling it with his lips and sucking it into his mouth, the other would move his mouth up and down the shaft while cupping my balls and gently massaging them.

I wasn’t sure which put me over the edge more—the excitement of being with these two young men or the fact I hadn’t been with anyone else in years. But, within seconds, I was about to explode. I gripped the backs of the chairs as I watched the two of them continue to lick and suck up and down the shaft, then groaned when my cock flexed and a massive stream of come shot onto the table.
