“Avery’s still at the infirmary?” Parker asked as he sat down to take off his boots.
“Yeah, Leah is helping her get to know the area since she felt like she couldn’t do much,” Brandon answered. The other man sat on the coffee table across from Parker, a frown on his face, but hadn’t said much since Parker had come back home from cleaning up after the attack.
