Gabriel: Salvation Ghosts MC (Defiant Love Saga Book 1) by Daniela Jackson (22)

Reagan

The party started two hours ago. We’re celebrating Cael’s daughter’s first birthday. Kyle is three years old, my Lily is five, my Lucas is three and a half, my Lara is almost two and my Leo is three months old.

Ravna is sitting in the 18th century armchair. She’s reading a book to the kids. I’ve never seen her that happy. She glows each time one of the kids erupts into laughter.

Aurora is still a bit uneasy around our mother, but Ravna’s trying hard to build something good with my sister.

Coyote is sitting on the sofa and Evelyn went to the bathroom three minutes ago. She’s eight months pregnant with Coyote’s baby, so she goes to pee every fifteen minutes.

Uri, Raphy, and Mike are good uncles to our kids. They’re still single though. We’ll see.

The kids laugh and Ravna claps her hands. Evelyn walks out of the bathroom. She drops onto the barstool, and I pour her a glass of apple juice. Aurora takes a seat beside Evelyn, and I pour her a glass of hot chocolate.

Evelyn glances at me. “You fine?” She strokes Aurora’s head in a motherly gesture as her eyes burn with amber similar to Coyote’s.

“I’m fine,” I say.

“Have you filled out that college application I gave you?” Evelyn asks.

“Not yet.” I pour myself a glass of orange juice.

“The kids have a good granny to look after them,” Evelyn says.

Aurora and I exchange glances.

“Ravna is sometimes unpredictable,” Aurora whispers.

“Do it, you two,” Evelyn orders. “Or I’ll do it for you.”

Aurora bobs her head, making Evelyn chuckle.

Muscular arms wrap around me from behind as Gabriel’s manly smell makes my mind whirl.

“You, Mrs Wolf,” he says and plants a kiss on my cheek. “You want to start a rebellion in the clubhouse, huh?”

“I’m a feminist, I guess,” Evelyn says.

Ravna drops onto the barstool at Evelyn’s other side. “A shot of vodka, please.”

Evelyn lowers her head to hide her amusement. Michael stands beside Ravna.

“Take the whole bottle, Ravna,” Michael says.

“I’m a lady,” Ravna says. “I drink one shot a day. They say it’s good for your heart.”

“You have no heart,” Michael says with a pinch of sarcasm.

Ravna rolls her eyes. “Neither have you.”

Michael pats her shoulder. “We’re all the same, so let’s get drunk in my bedroom.”

Ravna looks at him with disgust. “I don’t drink with tramps.”

“Come on, Ravna,” Michael teases. “Don’t be so stiff.”

She snorts. “A bottle of vodka, please.”

I lower and grab a bottle from the crate and then pass it to Ravna.

Michael offers her his elbow as they climb the stairs.

My eyes sweep over the bunch of gargoyles that is crowding around Uri. Aurora feels responsible for them. I’m Aurora’s sister, so I’m responsible for her and for her responsibilities. I asked Raphy to give the gargoyles shelter in our clubhouse, and he agreed. They follow Uri’s every step like a bunch of puppies. They sleep in his room on the mats, wrapped in sleeping bags. The oldest of them can’t tear her eyes off him. Well… She’s a young woman, after all. She turned nineteen a few months ago. Uri loves human females with big tits and Darla has small tits. She is very petite, but has the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen—except Gabriel’s. And except my kids’, Aurora’s and her kids’. Darla’s eyes are light grey with cobalt flickers—a cold fury against the dark olive tinge of her skin. She’s delicate and quiet, but her appearance with bat-like wings brings an impression of a female warrior to one’s mind. Anyway, Gabriel said Uri’d had no social life since the gargoyles moved in with us. He tried to get rid of them and to put them into the house that belonged to the nymphs, but they cried, so he keeps them all in his room. He sleeps on the mat in the corridor, guarding them like a respectful dog.

I pour the boys five glasses of beer and go to put my kids to bed. I love being the bartender in here.

I lull my kids to sleep in their bedrooms and sneak out. I go to the storage room to grab a few bottles of moonshine. I pull the door handle and enter it as the sight of Uri almost knocks me off my feet. He’s not alone. He is… oh… he is…

“You need something?” he growls.

“I…” My voice halts.

Darla whimpers as Uri corrects her thigh around his waist. Her back is pressed against the wall. Uri’s dick is inside her.

“Get lost,” Uri says.

“You two, it’s nice,” I say.

“None of your business,” Uri says.

He puts his forearm above Darla’s head and grips her hip, slamming into her. She whimpers into his neck as her long jet-black hair waves. She’s smaller than me. She must be in pain and Uri seems to be enjoying it very much. So is she.

“I’m busy fucking my wife, Reagan,” Uri says, his voice menacing.

I shudder, grabbing four bottles of moonshine. They clink as I run out of the storage room as though a horde of Lilith’s bastards is chasing me. I bounce off Gabriel.

“You okay?” he asks and takes the bottles away from me.

“I… need you,” I say as heat rushes to my cheeks.

I feel like a wanton woman. I need my husband to fuck me. I need that now.

“You need me?” Gabriel smirks at me.

“You know, I want you.”

“I want you too.” His lips slam on mine.

We need to be some place private. A place where I can wear one of my corsets and Gabriel’s favourite cuffs. He’ll tell me how beautiful and sexy I am. He’ll fuck me to the point of total exhaustion. He’ll tell me how much he loves me. Yes, our eternity together is going to be very enjoyable.
