Harmony (The Club Girl Diaries Book 1) by Addison Jane (26)

I watched from afar as Aiken, now known as Lift, showed off his brand new cut. The leather was shiny and fresh, completely unmarked, unlike my own which was worn, scratched and darkened with wear. That was the way I liked it though. A Brother’s cut was his identity. It showed who he was, what he represented and his pride in part of belonging to something bigger than himself. We treated our cut with the respect it deserved. No other man could take it from us bar the president of the club, and if for some reason it needed washing or patches sewn you did it your damn self. You didn’t know how to sew? You learned fast because no one was taking that cut from your hands.

I saw Harmony approach Lift, feeling a twinge of jealousy in my stomach, but knowing that she felt as though she needed to tell him how much she appreciated what he’d done for me, for the club and for her. She didn’t even realize that doing just that was proving to me and everyone else how perfect she was to be a president’s Old Lady.

I watched as she spoke to him, her face sincere with gratitude. The young kid caught my eye over her head, he was checking to make sure I was okay with the interaction. I gave him a small nod just as she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a tight embrace. He smiled, but I sensed the discomfort in the interaction.

“Harmony!” I called as I laughed. “I think the kid’s had enough thanks.”

She turned and poked her tongue out at me before turning back to him and continuing her conversation. The Brothers at my side laughed.

“Well, she’s come out of her shell,” Loose commented.

“Yeah, a little too much maybe,” I said jokingly.

Mix skulled back his beer, motioning for the prospect behind the bar to bring him another. “She heading back soon?”

I frowned, Harmony was meant to have started classes last week. She’d managed to worm her way out of them so far. There was only so much time she could have off due to ‘family emergencies’ without failing her course completely and having to re-sit a whole semester. She needed to go back, but I was not happy about the situation.

Daniel Ashley had been quiet since our meeting at Glow. There had been no word from him, no whispers through town. That alone made me nervous. That whole saying about no news being good news was a load of bullshit. No news was always bad news.

“I’m not sure,” I told him as I took a sip of my beer, the cold liquid coating my dry agitated throat. “She needs to be there for another semester or they might fail her, but even with all our feelers out, we haven’t been able to catch jack shit on this asshole.”

Loose nodded. “Guessing you don’t think he got the point and gave up?”

“Not in this lifetime,” I scoffed.

I wanted to be able to go back with Harmony, but the bylaws of the club stated I had to be there for a certain amount of time a year or else I forfeited my right to my president’s title. The rule was fair enough, presidents needed to be around to direct their club and its members. Without a leader, who knows what the hell would happen.

“How long does she have left?”

“Twelve weeks, then she can graduate.” I rolled my beer bottle on the bar top. Harmony and I had gone over every possible option. Online classes, driving back and forth, transferring to the local college. Everything had either come up as too dangerous or ended in her having to re-sit which she was determined not to do. I didn’t blame her for it. She had put a lot of work into getting where she was today. Although it was within my rights to tell her to stay, I knew she would be unhappy and I didn’t want to put us back in that place we were with her resenting me.

“You know the boys up there will watch her,” Wreck commented. Harmony had grown on him. Her and Del had become very close which meant Del was around the club more, so he was able to spend more time with his Brothers and his woman.

I knew Optimus would do whatever he had in his power to keep my girl safe, but it wasn’t just that. I’d become accustomed to having her around in my bed every night, her body mine to admire and appreciate. With her a few hours away, visits would be few and far between, especially with the workload I’m going to be taking on. The club here dealt big with marijuana and our personal crop was ready for harvest. We limited ourselves to one harvest a year to avoid unwanted attention, but our shit was the best and there was a fuckload of it to distribute. Which meant, for the next couple months we would be making a lot of runs.

Some of my Brothers moved off, in search of their women, or just a woman.

Tally shifted up beside me. “Scared she’s not going to come back?”

I narrowed my eyes at him. “What?”

“You scared she’s going to get back up there and fall into old routines?”

The thought hadn’t crossed my mind and it pissed me off that he would even suggest it. “The fuck she will. She knows who owns her and so do the assholes up there. They wouldn’t dare,” I growled.

He held up his hands defensively. “Hey, I was just asking.”

“Next time, don’t ask.” I stormed past him, the sudden urge to remind my woman who she belonged to. I found her laughing with my father, not even in the mood to take the time to revel in the fact that my parents saw her for what she was, perfect Old Lady material and already loved her. I plucked the glass from her hand and placed it on the table. Before she could protest, I dropped my shoulder into her stomach and lifted her off the ground. She squealed in surprise and the rest of my family erupted in laughter and catcalls as I carried her away in search of our room.

“Kit!” She banged on my back, demanding that I let her down, but her laughter caused her words to become almost indecipherable.

I kicked my door open, pausing only once to slam it closed again with my foot before dumping her body onto the bed. She bounced, almost falling off but managed to catch herself only aiding in making her laugh even more.

“Was that necessary, you caveman?” she asked, still smiling once her laughter had calmed.

“Tell me who you belong to,” I said sternly as I stood at the foot of the bed.

“Come again?” she asked, confused.

I grabbed her ankles and pulled her toward me, the blankets coming too and scrunching underneath her. Her eyes sparkled up at me, her breathing becoming labored as she quickly realized what I wanted.

“Tell me…who you…belong to,” I said slowly and deeply, enunciating every word.

She licked her lips. “You.”

I leaned forward, bracing my hands on her sides and placing my knee on the bed between her legs. I pushed my knee against her hot heat and just like my perfect girl she ground against it, a sharp breath of air escaping her mouth.

“Tell me,” I demanded, moving my lips closer to hers. So close, I could lick her perfect bow-shaped mouth.

She didn’t hesitate. “I belong to you, Kit. I’m yours.”

“Again!” I demanded through gritted teeth as I pressed my knee harder against her, forcing her mouth to fall open.

“Yours, Kit. I’m yours,” she whispered, her eyes watching me, never breaking contact with mine.

“I want you to keep repeating that as I fuck you senseless. You are never going to forget who owns this body, who makes you feel like you’re going to explode with one single touch. Who gives you so much pleasure that the world could be ending around you and you wouldn’t care because your body will already be floating off the ground in ecstasy.”

Her sex ground against my leg as she fought to find some friction to bring her some kind of relief.

Then she moaned the words I loved to hear. “Show me.”

I wasn’t sure what had brought on this intense need for Kit to exert his ownership, but a girl would be stupid to complain. The air in the room buzzed with sexual tension, threatening to burst at any moment and I was ready for it. I needed it, and judging by the look on his face and the tone in his voice, he wanted it too. He needed to know that I was his and even though I’d fought it to begin with, my body and my heart knew exactly where I belonged.

Kit was dominant and he was powerful. While I loved it when he showed me the sweet, kind, and caring part of himself, I also craved the hard, rough biker that had thrown me up against the wall the first night we had met. He stepped back, unbuckling his belt. I quickly sat up and scooted to the end of the bed, slipping off and resting on my knees before him like a dog waiting for a treat.

He smirked. “Good girl.”

I wanted to please him, make him happy. Not just sexually but in all aspects. I knew this might have something to do with the fact that I needed to head back to Athens soon for school. He thought that he needed to remind me where my heart lies, but he was wrong. Kit had inserted himself into my life in the most unconventional way. It had caused me to reevaluate my thinking. I’d soon realized that yes I was happy with my life, but I was just coasting, moving through the motions. Now, with him in my life, I was finally living. I basked in that feeling and now I had it, I wasn’t willing to let it go.

Kit tapped my chin with his cock and my mouth instantly watered. “Open up, baby.”

I did just that and he didn’t hesitate, pushing his length inside my mouth with a loud groan. I wrapped my lips around it, sucking hard. Gripping it with one hand, the other clutching at the waistband of my jeans, my mind telling me I needed them off and fast.

“You wet, Harmony?” he asked gruffly as I bobbed up and down. I pulled him from my mouth with an audible pop and looked up at his cocky smirking face.

“I’m not sure,” I mused. “Mind if I have a feel and check?”

He chuckled lightly. “Feel away.”

I snapped open the button on my jeans as I took him back in my mouth, pulling down the zipper and reaching inside the tight material. It wasn’t the easiest thing to do with my jeans stretched tightly in my kneeling position, but I need something, anything.

The tips of my fingers found my clit, already soaked and waiting. I flicked it a couple of times, moaning just as Kit’s head hit the back of my throat. His fingers threaded through my hair and he held me in that position, his head thrown back in utter bliss. I started to gag and he pulled back quickly, pulling himself from my grip and stepping away.

I continued to rub my clit as he stripped off his cut and placed it on the hook behind the door. Gripping the back of his shirt at his neck, he swiftly removed it. I admired his body as I played, eyeing his smattering of ink and gorgeously toned abdomen. My hips had a mind of their own, moving back and forth against my fingers.

“Need some help?” he asked, dropping his jeans and leaving him completely naked for my eyes to enjoy.

I shook my head and smirked. “No, I’m fine,” I answered breathlessly. “Stay right there.” I attacked my pussy feverishly, managing to slip my fingers further down into my pants so I could thrust them up into my wet hole. My other hand now free grasped my breast, kneading it and pulling at my nipple which was hardened through my lace bra.

My eyes fought to shut, but I forced them open, needing to see my man for inspiration and to enjoy the look on his face as I came to pieces on my knees at his feet. He smiled and folded his thick arms across his chest, his biceps protruding deliciously as he clenched his fists, no doubt fighting the urge to come to me.

“Oh God,” I moaned as my legs began to shake with my impending release just moments away. “Kit, oh shit, Kit.”

“Yeah, that’s it, baby girl. Imagine it’s me. Think about what’s to come when I finally get you on that bed and my cock in that pussy.” His words sent me over the edge. My eyelids won their fight and closed just as a wave of what I can only describe as pure pleasure crashed over my body. I shook all over, my hand now stilled and pressed tightly into my pants while my legs ached.

“My turn,” was all he said as he flew toward me, lifting me under the arms and dropping me onto the bed. My hands now free he rid me of my clothing, first my shirt, following immediately by my jeans which I’m almost sure I heard tear as they were ripped away from my body. I didn’t care though, just laughing as I laid on the bed in a beautiful afterglow.

My legs were thrown apart and I felt his bristles against my thighs. “Kit…” I warned, knowing that if he touched me there right now I might explode into oblivion. When his tongue swiped through me I was done for, screaming out his name as the feeling shot one thousand bolts of electricity through my body. I spasmed and jerked around, but his hands held firm onto my hips, keeping me grounded as he cleaned the cum from my lips.

“Fuck, you taste so good,” he murmured. He kissed up the inside of my thigh before situating himself over me, his cock at my willing entrance. I pried my eyes open, staring up into his beautiful stormy gaze. “Whose is this?” he asked as he pushed the head of his cock against me, not quite slipping it inside.

“Yours. Oh my God, it’s yours.”

One thrust and I was a goner. He drilled into me like nothing I’d felt before. Gone was the intimate loving, this was all raw and rough and I loved every fucking second of it. His fingers threaded through my hair and tugged at it, forcing my head back and giving me just enough pain to heighten the throws of pleasure. His mouth found my neck and he sucked and nipped at it, not relenting for one second as he powered into my wet waiting pussy. His body ground against mine, forcing me into the bed.

“You feel that?” he growled in my ear. My hands held his waist, my nails digging into his sides. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve drawn blood. “That’s your man, giving you everything you will ever. Fucking. Need. Your man making your body hover at the edge of that fucking cliff of ecstasy, hoping that you’ll fall off into the abyss.”

His words hit home, the need that ran through my veins soaring. Before, it had all been about him needing to know I was his. And now, he was showing me that this wasn’t only about him owning me, but me also owning him.

“Fall baby. I’ll catch you.”

And I did. I fell, screaming my way to the fucking bottom, but not missing the moans that came from his mouth as he followed me off.

Our bodies both shook, sweat slick between us as he rested over me.

“I’m yours,” I managed to whisper in his ear as his head was bowed against my shoulder.

“And I’m yours, baby. If you’ll have me,” he replied with a soft kiss to my collar bone.

I smiled. “Can I think about it?”

“Fuck! No, you can’t.”

I finished packing my bag, ready to head back to Athens. Kit wasn’t coming with me, even though I had tried to tempt him into it a few times.

Damn his immunity to my sexual persuasions.

“You ready?” he asked, standing in the doorway with a solemn look on his face. I knew he hated this just as much as I did.

“I guess.”

He walked over to my guitar and picked it up, but instead of walking out with it, he sat down on the bed. “I want you to play.”

Tears burned in my eyes. Music now wasn’t something I kept just for myself. It was a part of me that I shared with Kit and more often these days with his club as well.

“Sure.” I went to take the guitar from him, but he held onto it using it to pull me closer. He shifted back on the bed, leaving a space for me between his legs.

“You do that part,” he gestured to the neck of the guitar where I played the chords. “I’ll do the other.” My heart fluttered, thinking about the last time we’d done this and how connected I had felt with him at that time. He wanted to show me that again and it reminded me that no matter what parts we played, together as one, we could still create something so beautiful, so harmonious.

I shuffled myself between his hard thighs and proceeded to show him how I needed him to play. Kit picked it up fast. “Sing…please.”

‘Am I Wrong’ by Nico and Vinz was quite a fast paced song, but I changed the style up so it was soft and slow as opposed to its usual upbeat tempo. The new tone allowed the lyrics to become more pronounced, more meaningful. Kit let me sing, his head rested on my shoulder.

I wasn’t sure what it was about the situation that made this feel so hard. A few short weeks I’d been there, and I felt like as I walked out the clubhouse doors that I was leaving my heart behind. The club had taken me in, treated me as one of their own even though they knew what I’d been before. They didn’t judge me, they didn’t make crude comments and I knew that wasn’t just because Kit had claimed me. It was because I just fitted here, like the piece of a rough biker puzzle.

I tried to remind myself it was only for a few months and that I could still come and visit on the weekends if I wanted, and that Kit would be coming to see me as often as his presidential duties allowed. But as soon as I walked out the clubhouse doors, my body itched to just walk back inside and say screw it all.

“Lift is going to drive you up there and stay a couple days. The guys riding beside you will just ride up and head straight back.” I nodded as I stood next to Kit’s truck. He hooked his finger under my chin, forcing me to look up at him. I was rewarded with a gorgeous smile which I couldn’t help but mirror. “You’ll be okay, the boys have you covered.”

“I know.”

While the threat of Daniel still hung in the air, Kit wasn’t taking any chances. Along with me and Lift in the truck, there were four bikes riding with us. I hoped like hell this was just him going into overkill and things weren’t about to escalate to a place where having five men on me was a necessity. But I guess anything is possible, and covering all our bases was a necessary evil.

“Go on.” He helped to hoist me into the truck where Lift sat grinning in the driver’s seat. Kit stepped up and leaned in, eyeing the young guy with a glare so intense I was actually quite shocked that Lift didn’t instantly burst into flames. “You guard her with your God damn life. You hear me?”

“Yeah, Prez,” Lift said quickly with a sharp nod.

Kit kissed my forehead. “I’ll call you tonight, baby.”

With the door slammed shut, Lift wasted no time in pulling from the clubhouse carpark and heading toward the highway. The first half an hour or so was quiet, the only sounds were the soft music of the stereo and the rumble of the Harleys that surrounded us.

“I thought about studying once,” Lift said as he stared straight ahead, watching the road carefully.

“Oh yeah? What did you want to study?” I asked. Lift intrigued me. He was young, maybe nineteen or twenty. But his mind seemed much older than his age. He was smart, so smart.

“You have to promise not to laugh,” he said, eyeing me cautiously.

I smiled. “Not sure I can make that promise, Lift.”

He grinned. “I wanted to be a pilot.”

“Why would I laugh at that?”

He shrugged. “I dunno, it’s just really different than being a part of an MC.”

“It is, but it’s still an excellent job. What happened to stop you from going after that?”

He sighed. “My parents were killed a few years back. Drunk driver. I was in the backseat. To be a pilot you have to have perfect vision. When the drunk guy hit us, I got glass in my eye. It doesn’t affect my sight much, but just enough that I couldn’t pass the tests I needed to in order to get into flight school.”

My eyes softened. “Wow, I’m really sorry about your parents.”

“Yeah, they were pretty cool, you know? I didn’t have any other family apart from them and I wasn’t eighteen yet, so they threw me into foster care. It was hell.” He gripped the steering wheel tightly for a minute before his body relaxed again and I caught a smile. “Doesn’t matter now though, if I hadn’t gone through all that crap I wouldn’t have joined the Brothers by Blood. Now I feel like I have a place again.”

“You do,” I reassured him. “You have more family than you’ll ever know. I’m sorry about what happened to you, but I’m glad you found the club.”

His face beamed, his broad smile lighting his face up like a Christmas tree. “Me too.”

“Hey Optimus, I need to shoot into the College and pick up a couple lessons and tests that I missed.”

He turned from the bar and nodded. “Someone will have to go with you.”

“I’ll take her.”

My stomach instantly turned hearing the voice behind me. I’d managed to avoid Target since I’d been back. I wanted to keep it that way, but I knew I would have to be in his presence at some point.

Optimus frowned, knowing that I was uncomfortable being around him.

“The rest of the guys have gone out and Leo should be back from that run soon. You’ll want to catch up with him when he gets here,” Target explained, walking around the bar and lifting a pair of car keys from the hanger.

Fuck! Did I wish I’d taken Lift up on his offer to have him stay a few extra days. But I knew he was itching to get back to Kit and the club. Now that he was a full-patch member, he would have more responsibilities and he couldn’t wait to take them on and show them all what he was capable of.

I was proud of him.

“Harmony?” I shook myself out of my daze as Optimus looked at me questioningly.

“Is Chelsea around?”

He shook his head. “She picked up an extra class this morning.”

I sighed, I knew that. I’d just been hopeful she might have been able to tag along. Help it not be so awkward. “It’s fine. I just have to run in then come straight back.”

He looked apprehensive but nodded in agreement. I followed Target out to his car. Most of the boys opted for vehicles like trucks or SUV’s, but Target was different. He had a beautiful new 2014 model BMW with sparkling chrome and leather seats. A very unexpected ride for a biker.

I slid into Target’s car and buckled my belt, opting to stare out the window and make as little contact as humanly possible. At first when I’d joined the club, it was Target’s manner with women that had bothered me. Yes, the members could be crass to the club girls, but Target straight up treated any woman that he came into contact with like they were a piece of shit on the bottom of his boots. He reminded us all constantly that we were there for one thing and one thing only, to please a man. As club whores, we took it. It was expected in some ways because we knew exactly what we were there for. But then I’d watched him treat the strippers and the occasional Old Lady with the same demeaning attitude.

He was a chauvinistic pig. That was all there was to it.

As we drove toward the college, I watched him out of the corner of my eye. He was smiling. No, not just smiling but grinning like he was the cat that just got the milk, or however that saying goes. I tried to bite my tongue, but my curiosity got the best of me.

“Why are you so happy with yourself?” I sneered.

My tone only made his smile grow wider. “So now that Kit has claimed you, you’ve forgotten how to speak when talking to a Brother?”

I laughed darkly. “I haven’t forgotten, it’s just convenient that I no longer have to put up with your shit and risk getting kicked to the curb by calling you out.”

“Oh Harmony, Harmony.” He shook his head, still smiling. “One day you’ll learn. You should always treat a man with the respect he deserves. Every woman should, no matter her status or her place.”

“If you treated me with respect, I might return the favor. But you don’t.”

I watched his eyes as they flicked back and forth from the road in front of him to the rear vision mirror, more often than he would need to as we were driving on a straight, empty road out of town toward the campus. I checked the side mirror and saw two large black vehicles riding very close behind us.

“Target, are they following us?”

He shrugged, but he couldn’t hide the smirk on his face.

“What are you doing?” I asked, voice low and dark, the reality suddenly dawning on me.

“Like I said, one day you’ll learn your place.” I watched as one of the vehicles pulled up beside us. “That day just happens to be today.”

Target slammed on the breaks of the car. The seatbelt which should have locked into position with the sudden motion and held me back in the seat snapped, and before I could brace myself my head hit the dashboard. Things started to spin as I groaned out in pain and the world moved in and out of focus, blackness threatening to take over completely. I lay against the dashboard, my body refusing to move.

“She out?” a gruff voice asked.

“Not quite,” Target replied.

My door opened and I felt my body being lifted from the car. My ears were ringing softly and my head was thumping. A slick wet substance ran down my forehead and blurred my vision, turning it red.

Blood. Awesome!

The tingling in my body was starting to reside and my fight instinct began to kick in.

“Get off me!” I screamed, not being able to see the man who was holding me. I started thrashing, but whoever it was had a firm grip around my waist. I caught sight of Target standing next to his car, all the vehicles parked in the middle of the deserted road. He was smug, almost laughing.

“Control her you idiot!” a man yelled over the commotion I was causing.

“Just plug her. This one’s a fighter,” Target offered.

I spat at him as I got near. Obviously I was more out of it than I thought because it didn’t go far, seeming to just dribble down my chin and force Target’s smile even wider.

A strange man finally rounded in front of me, the dark suit instantly making my heart jump and my stomach want to empty its contents all over his shiny fucking shoes.

No!” I screamed.

Daniel Ashley just smiled at me, his face full of malice and hate. “I would prefer to use force to get you to do what you’re told but, unfortunately, your buyer would like you as unharmed as possible.” He held up a needle, allowing me to eye it for a few second before he forced it into my thigh.

I screamed, the noise quickly becoming gurgled as I began to drift. My mind almost feeling like it was leaving my body. I stopped fighting, allowing my body to be dragged away.

“Gotta make this look legit, Ken.”

Who’s Ken? What’s going on?

My head was dizzy, and I couldn’t feel my arms.

“Yeah, go hard. A few black and blues is worth knowing that little wench is going to get what’s coming to her,” Target answered, but my brain couldn’t compute what was going on. I heard the sounds of flesh meeting flesh and a few grunts before I was thrown onto another hard surface. My body bounced and my head hit the floor hard, the hovering black finally taking over.
