Mr. President: A Billionaire & Virgin Fake Fiancé Romance by Alexis Angel (181)

Bain Vacation

Ashley

I never thought that I’d be visiting a hospital during my honeymoon, but that’s exactly what’s happening. Okay, sure, that’s not an image as bleak as you might be imagining: after all, Austin is the President of the United States, and that means we have the best doctors in the world at our disposition.

Besides, it’s not like I’m injured or really sick. I’ve just been nauseous for a few days in a row, and I’m afraid it might be food poisoning or something like that. Which wouldn’t be that surprising – we’re in a private island in a faraway corner of the world, somewhere between Thailand and Only God Knows Where, and I’ve been eating all kinds of exotic food for too long.

Let’s go back a bit, shall we?

It's still difficult for me to wrap my head around the fact that Austin Bain, the President of the United States of America, is now my husband, but that’s my life now. That’s right, I’m the First Lady. Funny how it all happened, isn’t it?

Two months after Austin proposed we got married. Everyone insisted on some grand public ceremony but, wanting to make me happy, Austin settled on a private ceremony just for our family and closest friends. It was beautiful, the kind of thing a girl dreams about when she’s too young to be thinking of husbands and sex, but it doesn’t compare to the kind of joy I feel every day when I wake up next to Austin.

Anyway, after the marriage we took off in the Air Force One and flew to his heavenly island. A few days later, I started feeling nauseous. And now here we are, sitting in a spacious medical office while we wait for some doctor from the US Navy to bring the results from my exams.

Suddenly, there’s a knock at the door, and both Austin and I turn to look as a woman in her sixties waltzes inside the room. Her hair is gray, long years of service etched into the deep carved wrinkles on her face. She's wearing a military uniform skirt and, judging by the way she moves, I can't imagine her wearing any other thing than that formal attire. I can tell she has spent the long decades of her life in the military, and that she was born for it.

“Mr. President,” she says with sharp reverence, “my name is Julia Olsen. I've been a doctor with the U.S. Navy for twenty years now and I travel wherever you go. I'd like a few moments with Ms. Bain to have a private conversation with her, if that’s alright. Her results have already arrived. Nothing serious, I can assure you.” She waits for a second in sullen in silence and then, looking into his eyes, adds a “please.”

Whoever she is, she doesn't even feel slightly intimidated by the fact that she's talking to the President. In a sense, that's almost scary.

“I'll be right outside, okay?” Austin says, gently squeezing my hand. I nod meekly and try to smile as he leaves the small office. I'd rather have him stay, but this doctor looks so intimidating I rather follow her lead. Yeah, females can be scary sometimes.

Something curious happens the moment only me and her are inside the office, though: the hard lines on her face become softer, and her lips curl up in an unexpected gentle smile.

“How are you feeling, dear?” She asks, taking my hand in hers.

“I'm... alright. Just a bit nauseous,” I say, placing my hand over my belly and making a grimace.

“You'll be alright, I think. I have something I need to tell you, though.”

“What?” I ask her, not sure if I should be worried.

“You’re pregnant, dear,” she tells me, her smile widening even more, and she squeezes my hand in hers once again.

“Pregnant?” I repeat after her, the word rolling over my tongue like something… foreign. Pregnant? Me? How? Well, I know the how, but Austin and I have always taken precautions. Okay, not always, but it’s still a surprise to find out that I’m pregnant.

“That’s right. There’s a baby on the way. The President’s family is about to grow. From what I’ve seen from your exams, everything seems to be okay. Of course, your doctors in the States will want to do a follow-up, but I wouldn’t worry if I were you.”

“Oh my God,” I breathe out, suddenly feeling dizzy and lightheaded. Is that because I’m pregnant or because I just found I’m pregnant? And, really, does it even matter?

“Congratulations,” she says, patting my hand, and then goes up to her feet. “Now I’m going to send your husband in, okay?”

“Okay,” I say, still feeling completely dazed. “Thank you,” I then add, and she just offers me with a smile before leaving the office.

She smiles at me and, in a second, she's gone. I stay there, sitting with a smile on my face as I think of her words. Me, pregnant.

“So, what was it?” I hear Austin say as he steps inside the office, worry making his eyes wide. Slowly going up to my feet, I rush toward him and fall into his arms.

“Weregoingtohaveababy,” I let the words out all at once and, of course, he doesn’t understand any of it.

“Wow, okay. Calm down. What did you just say?”

“I said that… we are going to… have a baby,” I tell him between breaths, looking into his eyes as I try to gauge his reaction.

“Holy fuck,” he whispers under his breath, his jaw hanging open. “Tell me you’re not joking.”

“Scout’s honor,” I laugh, wrapping my arms around his chest and pressing my head against his chest. “We’re going to have a baby.”

Sweeping me up from the floor, Austin spins me around the room and then pulls me into him, crushing his mouth against me. “A baby!” He cries out, as smile as wide as the world on his lips. “A baby!” He then repeats, almost as if that’s the only word he knows right now. “You know what that means?”

“It means we have to celebrate,” I reply in a fraction of a second, biting down on my lower lip.

“That’s right,” he says, his smile turning into something wicked and lustful. Turning on his heels, he then walks toward the door and locks it. “We have to celebrate, and we have to do it right now.”

“Right now,” I whisper, walking toward him and crushing my mouth against his.

Now, don’t be shocked about all this – even though we’ve just been together for a few months, it’s like this every day. Remember what I asked him inside the Oval Office, that I wanted that kind of wild sex every day?

Yeah, that’s exactly what we’ve been doing. Every day.

Ah, my life is perfect.
