REVOLVER by Savannah Stewart (26)

Epilogue

One year later

The languid sound of the ocean was putting me to sleep. A soft composition from nature, with the warmth of the sun caressing my skin. I stretched out on the large bed that filled a portion of the private patio connected to our bungalow. My arms folded so my head could rest comfortably on them. I reached behind me and untied my bikini top.

“You’re going to burn if you lay there much longer.”

I peeked over my shoulder to find Gavin staring down at me. His longer than usual hair was slowly growing on me. With aviators shielding his eyes and the sun-kissed glow of his skin, he made my heart skip a beat. “Why don’t you put some lotion on me then?” The bed dipped to accommodate his weight and a moment later his warm hands was massaging lotion onto my back.

“Better be careful when you roll over, I might get jealous of what the fish will have a peek at.” He slapped my bottom.

I lifted onto my forearms and pulled the lime green top over my head, tossing it at Gavin’s face. “Blair.” The warning in his voice made me giggle. Even though no one could honestly see me, he didn’t like the thought of someone walking up on us. I could give two shits. We were newlyweds, on our honeymoon, and it wasn’t like anyone who could come into our bungalow hadn’t seen a pair of tits before.

“Yes?” A sheepish grin played on my lips as I rolled onto my back, tucking my arms behind my head so my breasts pushed upward a bit more.

Gavin jerked his sunglass off his face. The smoldering look in his eyes set off the butterflies in my stomach. He crawled up my body, giving each breast ample attention on the way to my mouth. His teeth grazed my bottom lip before pulling back just a fraction so he could stare into my eyes. “You’re going to be the death of me, you know that, right?”

“Don’t like what you see?” I pouted.

His hand kneaded my heavy breast. “Baby, you know I love what I see.”

A moan passed my lips as I leaned up just enough kiss him. What started out as innocent fun was quickly escalating to hot and steamy. His dick twitched in his swim shorts, pushing firmly against my sensitive spot. I inhaled sharply as I wiggled my hips against him. The familiar burn was forming in my core.

Gavin trailed kisses down my torso, across my lower abdomen, and ran his tongue over my hip bone as he undid the strings holding my bottoms together. The material fell away as a gentle breeze blew across the patio, my nipples hardening to the point of ache. His head dipped between my legs as his hands pushed my thighs apart. I bucked as his mouth ravished me. He licked and sucked my clit. I fisted his hair, pushing his face into my mound with each spark of pleasure shooting through my body from his touch. One, and then two fingers slid inside of me, causing my walls to quiver with each stroke. “Gavin…” His name a breathless plea falling from my lips.

“Tell me what you want, baby.” He spoke against my swollen bud. I squirmed and whimpered as he ceased all movement. “Use your words, Blair.”

“I want you inside of me,” I breathlessly groaned as I tried to rub my thighs together but Gavin’s hands secured them to the bed.

“Not out here.”

“Please.” I sucked my lip into my mouth and ran my hands over my breasts.

Without further argument, he dropped his swim shorts and gripped his cock. I’d never get tired of watching him. His knees spread my thighs wide as he thrusted into me. It wasn’t slow and sensual like it had been during the morning sunrise. Gavin didn’t want to passionately make love to his wife, he wanted to fuck her this go around. My legs wrapped around his lean waist as he pummeled into me. “You never fucking listen.” His words came out in stern pants. I claimed his lips as he groaned with each quick and hard slam of his hips into me.

“I’m about to—” I lost my words as the most intense orgasm ripped through my body, causing my ears to buzz and my vision to blur.

“Fuck,” he growled against my ear. “I love watching my wife wither beneath me.” He bit down on my lower lip and sucked it back into his mouth. His tongue rolled against mine as he deepened the kiss. A fire ignited once again in my core and white specks danced within my eyes as the second round crashed into me even harder than the first orgasm. My legs fell from his hips, landing wide open as he continued to ride me like it was his last chance to be so deep inside of me. This was the version of Gavin that roared with such intensity at times I felt I might explode into literal pieces before it was over. He wore my body out, only to patch it back together again with the gentlest of touch. I held my breasts, waiting for the wild ride to continue, but to my surprise he slowed his pace, giving me the precise opportunity to roll us so that I was seated on top of him. I lifted from his lap and kneeled between his legs, taking him into my hand and stroking his shaft. My tongue licked the wetness from his tip before I took him as deeply as possible into my mouth. The throaty moan I got in response made me hum with happiness.

“Do that again,” he breathlessly demanded, and I obliged. “Shit,” he hissed, jerking his hips upward as his release hit me in the back of the throat. I swallowed it down and rose to my feet with a victorious smile. “I hope our forever is always like this.” Gavin sat up and pulled my naked self into his arms, kissing me so passionately I could’ve sworn I saw stars.

* * *

The smell of rain wafted through the bungalow as the light drops rapped against the roof. We’d closed ourselves in after the unexpected Summer night's rain made its appearance. Gavin was afraid it might turn into a hefty storm, so he’d closed every window and door in the place before falling fast asleep in our bed. I’d tip-toed to the sliding doors and cracked them open just enough to smell the rain and hear its light pitter patter a bit more. His fear of the storm was for nothing since its path had turned, only to leave Bora Bora with a smidge of relaxing rain for the past few hours.

I sat up in bed, clutching the sheet to my chest and leaning over to see if he was still fast asleep. His long eyelashes splayed out beautifully, his mouth closed, the soft rise and fall of his chest; he looked so peaceful, at ease with the world. In a few short days we’d be returning back to the real world of undercover operations, firearm training, and cases out the wazoo. But I wouldn’t trade a single thing as long as he was by my side. I’d taken into consideration leaving the FBI altogether a few months before our wedding. The horrors and trauma from my kidnapping were a gaping hole that I couldn’t quite fill. A wound that just wouldn’t heal. Yet again, Gavin was my saving grace. Our late-night heart-to-hearts about what the future could hold, and what paths we saw our careers going down opened my eyes. No matter how many times I tried to see a different outcome for myself, I couldn’t quite let go of my position with the bureau. It had been my dream job for so long, and once I had it, I swore I’d never let it go as long as the choice was mine. Yeah, I’d been battered and bruised, but those weren’t good enough reasons to run away because shit got too damn hard. The day I stepped back into my office everything felt right, just like riding a bike after years of it sitting in the garage. I was meant to do the job, and no one would take that away from me.

Gavin stirred beside me and I slid down against my pillow, rolling onto my side so that we were face-to-face. His eyes cracked open and he lazily smiled. “Did the storm wake you?”

“No, I haven’t been to sleep yet.”

He lifted onto his forearm, concern in his eyes. I pulled him back down against his pillow, “I’m fine. Just enjoying the sound of the rain.”

I snuggled into his arms. Our noses brushed gently against one another. “It is peaceful.” He tenderly kissed me.

“Not as peaceful as being in your arms,” I sighed.

He kissed me once more, this time his lips lingering a fraction longer than before. “How I got so lucky with you, I’ll never understand.”

My heart soared from his words. Little did he know, he wasn’t the lucky one…I was.
