Siren's Barbarian Captor: A Barbarian Warrior Fantasy Romance by Amber Ella Monroe (16)

Celeste

The next morning…

I giggled as Kradr smoothed the wet sponge up my legs, over my bottom, and then down my thighs again. He kissed me near the base of my spine.

“That tickles,” I exclaimed. “We’ll never make it to your mother’s for breakfast if you keep at it.”

After we woke up, drenched in the aftermath of sex, we decided that hot baths were in order for both of us.

He chuckled. “I’d rather have you for breakfast.”

I stepped out of the bath. Kradr patted me dry with a cloth. I walked between his thighs where he was seated on the chair and lowered a kiss on his mouth.

“You know I can’t resist you,” he said, trailing his lips down the center of my body, pressing light kisses to my navel. “Please, just a little…”

“Okay, but quick—”

He leaned forward and went straight for my clit.

“Oh…” I moaned.

He squeezed his erect shaft hard in his fist as he licked my clit. One foot was strategically placed on the chair as he spread me open for his pleasure.

I didn’t know what was more arousing. The sight of Kradr stroking himself while eating me or the sound of it. As he dragged his tongue lazily across my clit, my legs began to quiver. Moisture spilled from my slick lips and my entire core shook with my climax.

On the verge of completion, Kradr leaned back in the chair. I knelt between his legs, folded my legs under me, and gave him some assistance. My hands replaced his and I pumped him between my fist. I couldn’t resist the urge to taste him and brought my mouth over his tip. This time he couldn’t hold back. Not with me in charge. He came on my tongue while calling my name.

“Now.” I stood with my hand on my hips. “We really must get dressed and get going.”

Just as I grabbed our clothing, a man called Kradr’s name from on the other side of the door. In Volming, they seldom knocked.

I grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around my body. “Who’s that?”

“It’s my brother,” Kradr said, pulling on his loincloth.

After making sure that I was dressed, Kradr opened the door and let his brother in. It was the first time I’d ever seen him. Kradr and Drokkil could’ve been twins. There were subtle differences. Drokkil was the oldest. His hair was slightly shorter. The inked symbols on his body were different. Instead of blue eyes, he had green eyes.

Drokkil said something in their language. I looked at Kradr.

“It’s a way of saying hello,” Kradr explained.

“Celeste, isn’t it?”

I gasped, surprised that Drokkil spoke English just as well as Kradr did. “Yes. It’s finally nice to meet you.”

“I came by last night. You two were busy.”

“Oh.” I blushed.

“That’s okay. You two are late for breakfast, by the way.”

Kradr spoke in their language and Drokkil said something in response.

“Are you really a Siren?” Drokkil asked.

Kradr grunted. I guess he didn’t want Drokkil questioning me.

“I am. And Mer.”

“Can you change?”

I laughed.

His eyes widened as he seemed almost mesmerized by my reaction. He examined me like I was some treasure he’d just stumbled across. I expected this much. When I arrived in Volming, Kradr’s people had reacted the same way with me. They were curious and mesmerized. My voice even enchanted some of them.

“I’ll take that as a yes,” Drokkil replied, looking away. “Spellsinger. Creature of the land and sea.”

“You’re part Zaqwar. You’re not entirely human either,” I exclaimed, stating the obvious.

“No, I am not.” He looked at Kradr and spoke in their language again. Kradr gave him a disapproving glare and shook his head.

“No, really, it’s okay. What did he say?” I asked. “I want to know.”

Drokkil laughed. “Demanding. Not afraid. I like that,” he said, this time in English. “I said…where do I find me a spellsinger like this beauty?”

“If you look, you will not find,” I said, only because I didn’t think the Sirens would appreciate the warriors actively looking for them. Even though Drokkil meant no harm, many things could go wrong. There was a reason why after choosing land instead of sea even I didn’t know where the Sirens truly resided.

“Fierce, too.” Drokkil grinned. “She will bear strong warriors for Volming.”

“Mate. Mine,” Kradr growled.

“Yes, I know, brother. You’ve already marked her six hundred ways from Lunara to Eutar. She’s yours. I am happy for you.”

“What’s Lunara?” I asked.

“The planet where the Zaqwar came from,” Drokkil answered. “It’s just an old saying. Now that you two lovebirds have had all night to get this mating urge out of your system, can we go eat? Mother won’t serve me until everyone is there.”

Kradr chuckled. “The mating urge doesn’t disappear from the system, brother. Not when you’ve found the one.” He wrapped his arms around my waist. “Get used to this.”

I smiled, blushing from Kradr’s endearment.

“Oh, goddess, does that mean you won’t go hunting with me anymore?”

“Oh, no, brother. I’ll go hunting with you, for sure. Our adventures might get cut short though. I’ll have a woman back at home waiting for me.”

I was happy—the happiest woman on Eutar.
