“So, what did you want to talk about, boss?” Dmitri appeared in Reed’s office, which I had on loan for the moment until there was a clear meeting space for the Vipers MC. I still hadn’t officially dealt with the title, and I needed to get things on track with both MCs if I was going to start the process of getting info to take down a Mexican cartel. That shit was serious business. I also needed to make sure that illegal operations were ceased as much as possible. I didn’t want to dabble in the same things as my father.
“We need to talk about the plan going forward. Obviously, Vipers have a territory already, and you guys probably need to get back. I know I am here most of the time because of Reed, but I would like us to share the two territories. Your idea to start up a trade of women just like these guys do, and that’s exactly what I want to happen. I want these women to be given new lives and get out of that shit, Dmitri. I also need to know what kind if shit Jimmy was involved in so we can nip it in the bud.”
Dmitri’s face told it all for me. He looked pained. “You are the Prez now, Elena, but I have a tough time seeing you as anything other than that abused little girl sometimes. It’s how I knew you’d set shit straight. But you’re not going to like what I have to tell you.”
“Go on,” I urged him. I needed to hear every little gory detail.
Dmitri described some horrors that not even I quite expected. Apparently, illegal weapons trade wasn’t enough for my father, even though they made a pretty penny from it. The man had dabbled in the drug trade, sex trafficking (much like what had been suspected of the Skulls), and even child pornography there at the end. Dmitri assured me that the operation had been shut down the moment I had popped a cap into Jimmy’s knees. But hearing what Jimmy had done to women, selling them off to these various rings as well as using the young ones for the pleasure of perverts, I had more determination than ever to turn it around and get these women out of this.
I mulled it all over in my head, knowing that any MC still needed a way to make money, and sometimes it required dabbling in seedy dealings. I was going to have to make a few compromises to keep the MC afloat for the sake of the families as well as to get the money together to buy these women from the cartels.
“Alright, so as far as drugs, I want you to stick to pharmaceuticals and marijuana; nothing shadier than that. Try to keep it as legal as possible. There are places now where you can register to grow the shit and get paid for it. There’s no reason an MC couldn’t make bank off that. The point is to get the Vipers as legit as possible while still staying afloat.”
Dmitri nodded. “That’s all we want, Prez. I think I can make that happen, But what else?”
“Shoot down the gun trade as soon as the current stock is all sold. Then, we can think about going the legal way with that; a pawn shop or something that one of you can run in downtown. I know those make bank.” I was nodding, getting the creative juices flowing. It was in my blood after all, whether I liked it or not.
“Child pornography is fucking disgusting, but I can’t deny there’s money in sex. If there is anyone in the MC savvy at all with directing and film, then you can consider doing some amateur porn films. On the condition that these people are completely willing to star in these films. Do not force anyone into it and make sure they get a cut of the royalties. Got me?” Dmitri nodded in agreement.
“The last thing I need from you is a good setup in Texas for when I’m there. Clean whatever place you’re running there now the fuck up and make me an office that didn’t belong to my damn father.” Dmitri chuckled at that.
“Yes, ma’am.”
He saluted me in jest and left the room, leaving me to contemplate whether I felt worthy of such a position or not. I didn’t know if I was bad enough or good enough.
A knock came at the door, and I called the person in, only to find that it was Reed. “How’d it go, Siren? Did you show him who’s boss?” he asked in a lusty growl pulling me out of my chair and into his arms. He had this way of turning me on in an instant, no matter the time of day or what was going on. I thought back on the first time I landed myself in Reed’s bed and was bewildered by the place we were at now; in love with me wearing his cut.
Reed sucked my lip into his mouth and made me moan loudly. I knew the office was far from sound proof, but I just couldn’t help myself. Things had been a little too business and not enough pleasure.
“You know,” I began, twisting around so that it was him in front of the office chair. “I’ve always wanted to fuck someone in their office.”
