Taken by the Boss: The Ruzzo Family by Belle Winters (21)

Giovanni

I've been sitting in this hard as fuck chair in the dark for the past hour. This mother fucker better hurry up and get here because it's only serving to piss me off more that I'm sitting here waiting for him.

Finally, I heard someone putting keys in the lock and shortly after the door opened. My eyes had trained for the dark from sitting here so long, and I was able to make out his movements. He dropped his keys on the table and removed his jacket. He walked to the kitchen and went into the fridge withdrawing a beer. He came back into the living room and cut on the TV. The lights from the TV cast a glow in the room, and had he been more aware of his surroundings he would’ve made me out already, but he was still completely oblivious.

Tired of playing the waiting game, I cleared my throat. Startled, he jumped in his seat and got up to cut on the light. As soon as the room exploded with light, his eyes fell on me. His face quickly lost all of its color as he watched me.

Eventually, he spoke. “What… what are you doing here?” he looked around the room. “How did you get in here?”

I opened my arms. “Well, that hurts. Here I thought we were old friends… hows life been for you Victor?” I smiled. “Long time, no see.”

He visibly gulped as he watched me in confusion. “I'm alright.” He stammered.

I nodded my head. “That’s good, that’s good.” I stood to my feet and stretched. I pulled out my Glock and motioned to his couch. “Take a seat, get comfortable.” When he remained rooted to his spot, I motioned to the couch again. “Let's have a talk.”

He tripped over himself, rushing to get to his seat. I leaned back against the wall and crossed my legs. It was five months later, but I had finally got his location last week. I never forgot about his and Becca's role in what happened to Julie. We were still trying to find out who the Carlos guy was that lured Sofia out, but we have nothing. He was a fucking ghost. Only Sofia had seen him, and he wasn’t in the warehouse with them. The phone number he had was on a burner, and there was no way to find out who the fuck he was from that. Sofia had said she'd seen the guy sometimes on her way home after school, but she hasn’t seen him since the incident. I was going to snap the fucker's neck. Not only did he put her in danger, but he broke her fucking heart. Learning that he pursued her just so that she could be taken didn’t exactly do anything for her ego.

“So, Victor… how do you know Ricci?” I asked.

He tugged on the collar of his shirt. “I don’t know… whos Ricci?”

I sighed. “Don’t tell me you think I'm that stupid.” I tsk’d him and shook my head. “Taylor and Julie are both fine. I know what you did… now tell me what I want to know.”

He grabbed onto the back of his neck. “I didn’t know him. It was Becca.” He dropped his head. “She came and found me. I was at the Kitty when I first saw her. I was just there, you know for a good time and I was surprised to see her there. I thought she was working with you.” He shrugged. “Anyway, she gave me a lap dance, and I was drunk. She kept going on and on about you and Julie, I honestly didn’t care or pay attention. I was able to feel her up, and she was too caught up in her story about you to say anything. I asked her if she wanted to hook up later, I’d pay her. She shrugged, so we swapped information.” He shrugged. “I met up with her once. Then the next time I called her, she said she was seeing someone. That Ricci guy. I didn’t really care because she wasn’t a good fuck. But she was alright with her mouth. She called me one day out of the blue. Offered me some cash and said when I got the opportunity, I would have to drug Taylor and that was it. They said that someone wanted Julie and I just had to keep her there until they got there.”

“How much money?” I asked.

He frowned. “What?”

I took a step forward. “I want to know how much money they gave you to make you risk going against me.”

“Twenty thousand.” He held up his hands when I began to advance on him. “Look, man. I don’t know what happened. I wasn’t in on it, I didn’t try to hurt her! You said she was fine. I got the fuck out of there because I didn’t want to be a part of that shit. I left, they’ll never see me again.”

I sighed. “I know.” I popped one of his kneecaps, and he cried out. “Because no one is ever going to see you again when I'm done with you.” I popped out his other kneecap.

He continued to beg and plead as I stood there watching him bleed and cry. He was really pathetic. I mean, surely he had to know there was no getting out of this. At least try to go out like a man with a bit of dignity. I pulled out my knife from the inside pocket of my suit jacket and took a seat on top of the table in front of him. “Let me see your hands.”

He was crying now and shaking his head. I sighed. “You can give me your hands, or I can make sure that they're both gone before you die. Your choice.”

He lifted shaking hands up to me. I gripped his left hand and ran the blade across the top of his hand. “You touched my girl with these fingers. Only motherfucking fingers that should touch her are mine. That means…” without blinking or hesitating, I quickly chopped off his pinkie. “That I now own these.” I didn’t wait, I went straight to the next one. I wanted to drag this out, but by the way, he was freaking the fuck out, I knew he was on the verge of passing out. I wanted this mother fucker conscious of what I was doing to him. I swiftly got off all ten fingers and watched him as he struggled to breathe.

There were other things to get revenge for, and this one I was doing for Julie. “I didn’t forget, how you took her virginity and turned around and fucked her sister. Or the fact that you were fucking Taylor behind her back the whole time. That kind of shit could really bruise a girls ego.” I stood knowing what was coming next. “Get up.”

His eyes almost bugged out of his head. I guess he was wondering how the fuck I expected him to move. Let alone stand on busted knees. I quite frankly didn’t give a fuck because it wasn’t my problem. The fucker was going to stand. I gripped the front of his shirt and pulled him to his feet. He swayed a bit and looked like he was going to vomit. I used my knife to cut his belt loose and dropped his pants. Finally understanding my intent, he began to sob.

“P – p – pl – p – ple – “ he stuttered.

I bought my knife to his lips. “Shhh. This would be easier if you would just accept this as your fate.”

Those parting words did nothing to ease him. He began freaking out even more, and I sighed. I made sure I had his eyes as I cut his dick off and let it drop to the floor. He gasped, convulsed, then collapsed. The party was apparently over. I went back for my Glock and put one between his eyes just so I knew the fucker was dead. Then I pulled out my phone and called Angelou. I gave them the address and told them we needed cleanup. With this fucker finally taken care of, I just wanted to get home and fuck the shit out of my woman. With that thought in mind, we left right after the cleanup crew arrived. They dropped me at home and went about their business. I found Julie in the living room curled up watching TV.

She looked up at me. “Where were you?” she asked.

I frowned. “The fuck? Since when did we do this? You questioning me and shit, I can’t say that I like it.” I asked removing my jacket and leaning against the door jam.

She glared at me. “Since you started going rogue and going after people who have hurt me without consulting me.”

“How do you know that?” I asked.

She crossed her arms pushing her breast up. “I'm a psychic.” She said dryly.

I rolled my eyes and went into the room to sit next to her. “You spoke to Dante,” I stated. Not a question. He was the only big mouth who knew what id been up to today.

“So?” she challenged.

“What exactly were you expecting me to say?”

She shrugged. “I don’t know, but something. I would’ve liked to know. You weren’t even going to tell me now were you?”

I sighed. “This isn’t anything you need to know. You need to worry about your pregnant ass and not about revenge. I took care of it. That’s what I'm here for, Julie. It's on me to make sure that you're safe and any mother fucker that dares to fuck with you pay the price.”

She pouted and dropped further into the couch. “What did you do to him?” she asked.

I frowned. “you sure you want to know?” I asked, and she nodded. I ran a hand down my face. “Fine. I found out where he lives now. I went there and waited for him. When he got there, I had him tell me what he knew about everything. It wasn’t much. Then I shot out his knees, just for the fuck of it. Then I cut off every single one of his fingers, for touching you. Then, I cut off his dick for cheating on you. Then I shot him.”

I watched her for her reaction. She was tense, “is he dead?” she asked hesitantly.

I nodded. “Yes.”

She released a deep breath. “Good.” She looked up at me. “Thank you.” She said softly.

I nodded and leaned in for a kiss. “I'll always do it for you.”

“What about Becca?” she asked.

I frowned. “She’s still hiding. But don’t worry. Eventually I'm going to get that bitch. I promise.” I was going to burn that bitch alive if I could.

She leaned into me, and I relaxed onto the couch with her and held her. She gasped and looked up at me. She grabbed my hand and put it on her stomach. “Feel that?” she asked.

I frowned. At first, I didn’t feel anything, and then it came. A bump against my hand. I looked into Julie's eyes in wonder. “Holy shit, babe. That’s our baby.” I said in awe.

“I know. I'm so excited!” she said with a big smile. “The baby is going to be spoiled… isn’t he?” She asked.

I nodded my head and I couldn’t help but kiss her.

She sighed. “How did we even get here?” She asked.

I grinned. “I guess you do have a reason to be nice to Alex…”

She scoffed. “Yea, right.”

I gave her a look. “I’m being serious. Remember he was the one that couldn’t tell you apart from Taylor and brought you to me.”

Her eyebrows flew up. “That’s what you call it? I think it was closer to kidnapping and almost murder.”

I laughed. “Alright.” I wasn’t going to argue.

“And then… you took me. And kept me.”

“Damn right.”

She sighed again and shifted getting more comfortable. “I took you, your body, your heart. And I’m going to keep taking these things and more from you for a very long time so you better get used to it.”

She jut out her bottom lip in a pout. “And what do I get then? It sounds like I’m the one doing all of the work here.”

“You get me baby.” I kissed her nose. “And you get to take just as much back from me.”

She gave my hand a little squeeze. “Love you, Gio.”

“I love you too, Julie.”
