Wild Pride (The Kingson Pride Book 1) by Kristen Banet (20)

RILEY

She found Andrew after her shower. He was walking in to the kitchen after getting home from the diner and she fell into him.

“Save me from them, they’re all horn dogs,” she groaned and Andrew laughed at her in shock, wrapping her in a hug. “Horn cats?”

“Well, darling, I can’t promise I’m much better but I’m at least a gentleman.” He kissed her cheek and she sighed happily. He was and she loved it. “What happened?”

“I may or may not have had a hot oral sex session with Troy and Gabe. Then Brenton and Zachary found us in the hot tub…” she looked away from him, suddenly thinking this wasn’t such a good idea to tell him.

“Yup, I can imagine how that went down,” Andrew chuckled. “Hot oral sex session, huh?” He held her close and licked her ear lobe. She gasped.

“Andrew!” She swatted his chest. “You’re supposed to be the good one! I wanted to see you because you’re nice and safe!”

“I promised to take you dinner first. That’s not good, it’s just polite.” He was fighting a grin, she could tell. “Maybe we should do a picnic instead, how does that sound? I could whip it up right now and we could run away for the afternoon. I know you weren’t feeling getting out but I can imagine being stuck in the house with all five of us can get overwhelming.”

She loved that idea. Just one on one time with her sweet Andrew. Her sweet Andrew. When did they become hers? She filed the thought away for another time. She’d only known them for a few weeks, they couldn’t be hers. She wanted them to be though.

“Sounds great,” she kissed his cheek. “Plus, I’m sure I’ll like whatever you make more then a fancy place in Denver any day.”

“Go get ready, I’ll make somethings up and let the others know I’m stealing you.”

She ran up to her guest room, excited that she could get out of the house full of sexy and horny boys. She laughed to herself. Men. They were all definitely men and they were hers in some weird way. They were there for her when she needed them most, it touched her heart in a way that made it ache and they proved that just last night.

She threw on black skinny jeans, a black tank top and then a royal blue long sleeve shirt. She grabbed a thicker jacket just in case it was too cold outside. She checked her hair and decided to just throw it in a ponytail. She liked wearing it down more but ponytails were convenient.

By the time she made it downstairs, Brenton was in the kitchen with Andrew. Andrew was placing containers in a bag and smiled at her when she walked in.

“I have a lot of leftovers we’re going to try and finish,” he told her as Brenton stood quietly to the side. She nodded and looked in the bag, seeing potato salad, some sandwiches, and a variety of fruits. She didn’t know what else he had in there.

“What are we going to drink?” She searched the bag but found nothing.

“These,” Andrew told her shortly. He was holding a case of waters that he normally kept in the fridge. He told nearly ten of them in the bag and put the rest back in the fridge. She nodded and finally looked to Brenton. He wore no expression.

“You okay over there?” She crossed her arms over her chest, looking him over.

“Yes, just wondering what kind of state you are going to be when he brings you back,” Brenton finally cracked a smile and she glared at him a little.

“Andrew would never do anything to put me back in a ‘state’,” she stuck her tongue out at Brenton and he just laughed at her. Andrew was even chuckling.

“You underestimate Andrew at your own risk then,” he was grinning and stepped up to her. “Have fun,” he kissed her softly and she felt her damn heart skip a beat. He left them to finish preparing without his dominant presence.

“Let’s get out of here,” Andrew whispered in her ear. She felt shivers run up and down her spine. Maybe she did underestimate him.

They both piled in the pickup truck and Andrew drove them out of town for nearly an hour before stopping at a hiking trail.

“It’s warm enough today for this,” he smiled over to her. “You grab the blankets, I’ll get the bag.”

She nodded, taking the two folded blankets Andrew grabbed at the last minute. It was only one in the afternoon and the sun was warm even if the air had a chill.

Andrew led her down the trail for about twenty minutes until they came up a nice open spot. He walked her five minutes off the trail into a little grove. It was gorgeous.

“How do you know this is here?” She looked around and saw a pretty stream nearby as well.

“I like to hike. I’ll come out here, shift and just trot around like a real cougar. I know all the good spots for the outdoorsy types.” Andrew put the bag down and took the blankets from her. One he spread out for them to sit on, the other staying folded and just going in the middle in case it was needed.

She fell back onto the blanket as Andrew pulled out food for them.

“Talk to me,” she commanded with an insolent snap of her fingers. She grinned at him and he chuckled.

“What would you like to talk about?”

“You. Tell me about you. This spot is some place you found. You enjoy coming out here and getting your cat on. You are a great cook and own my place of work. I want more.”

He handed her a sandwich and only stared at her for a long time. She started eating, waiting for him to say anything. He only opened a water and handed it to her as well. When he also started eating, she sighed.

“What’s your birthday?” She asked, pointing her sandwich at him.

“September tenth, I’ll be twenty-nine this next one.”

“Damn, you are a bit older then me,” she laughed. “I turn twenty-four in April.”

“That’s not so bad,” he chuckled. “I… I was born to a maid who worked at the Kingson Estate. It’s how I ended up growing up with Brenton.”

She opened and closed her mouth at that. “Your dad? Did he also work there?”

“No, he was never around. My mom said she met him when he was passing through and he was gone before she even knew she was pregnant.” She could see he was little uncomfortable but she was happy he was telling her.

“I’m sorry, I couldn’t imagine that,” she at least had her own father for most of her childhood. He only shrugged.

“Seeing others shifters’ dads, I didn’t think I was really missing much,” Andrew smiled at her. “If you want parent horror stories, talk to any of the other guys. I can’t tell you what they went through, but I’ll say it was some pretty fucked up shit.”

She felt a small crack in her heart. “Oh, that’s awful. But you all have each other now so…”

“We also have you now,” he kissed her cheek. “Pride for us is the family we never had or lost.”

“What happened to your mother?”

“Cancer, when I was five,” Andrew whispered. “Really rare in shifters but it still happens occasionally. It hit her hard and we didn’t have the money to help her a lot.”

“But you worked for the Kingson family, surely they helped. I mean, Brenton was only a child but-”

“Brenton’s dad could just hire another maid. In the end, the butler took me in, moved me to his suite and I grew up in the servants’ quarters, under everyone’s feet. Brenton and I became fast friends from that first week after my mom was gone.”

“Oh, Andrew…” She put her sandwich down and touched his cheek. His turned and kissed her palm.

“Eat, it’s not all so bad. I’ll keep going.” He finished off his own sandwich and grabbed a couple small bowls and dished them both up some potato salad. “Well, everything happened to the guys’ parents and Brenton decided I was one of them. No one could convince Brenton to let me leave or me to go. Troy and Gabe are a couple years younger but they were terrors back then and only behaved for Brenton. Zachary was dealing with all sorts of problems and hid out a lot in the early years. But me?”

“I was the guy who kept the ‘guardians’ we were assigned from causing too much trouble. They had fired off all the staff, isolating us, so I did it all. They hated it. They had some fucked belief that all the rich kids should be getting on their knees to stay in their good graces. Truth was, they were after Brenton’s money, the Walker money too. But me and Zachary had none so we dealt with the guardians to protect the others over the years. It took Zachary a little while but he came around eventually.”

“Then, Brenton graduated college at like seventeen all on his own and got emancipated. He took legal control over Troy and Gabe. He sent all of us to college and we ditched Wild Junction.”

“Why did you all come back?” She had finished eating while he spoke and was now just laying on her back, watching Andrew.

“We got tired of the city. We missed home. This place was always great even if we had problems in the house. We liked the quiet and being away from the shifters. So we cut political ties and forced our way out of the mess. We always had hated it but needed to tolerate it to build a reputation as strong pride. Once we were done, we renovated the Estate to our tastes and came back.”

“That’s wild.” She shook her head. “You guys basically raised yourselves.”

“Yup,” Andrew laid back next her, looking at her. “We matured fast, except the brothers. They’ve always been a bit wild. Looking back, it wasn’t that bad for me. I think I had it easiest out of everyone.”

“You think so?”

“Definitely,” he leaned towards her and kissed her slowly. She melted against his lips as he rolled on her. His eyes looked like melted chocolate after the kiss.

“Trying to forget?” She smiled at him. “Troy and Gabe used that excuse earlier to convince me to play.”

“No,” Andrew growled and nibbled her bottom lip. “I’m trying to make memories right now, not forget them.”

She opened her mouth to say something and he stopped her with another kiss. Their tongues danced and she ran her hands on his chest.

They kissed for a long time, rolling around on the blanket, Andrew’s roaming over her, She learned every curve and hard plane of his body. He pushed between her thighs and rubbed against her, one of his hands palming her breast through her bra, her button up was open, her tank shoved up. Her nipples still ached from Troy and Gabe so they were extra sensitive. Andrew didn’t have the finesse of the brothers, he was more rugged in his affections. His hands were tough, calloused. He might have been a chef but he was also the outdoorsy type and loved physical labor.

When they broke apart, she was panting and he was purring. He rolled to her side and pulled her close.

“Good Lord, Andrew,” she couldn’t catch her breath. He chuckled in her ear and slid the hand from her breast to the button of her jeans. He deftly popped it open and unzipped them. She was breathing rapidly now just from anticipation and his hand slid down the front.

She held on to him, chest to chest as he rubbed her through her panties. She had chosen some red lacy things, which were now soaked.

“Darling,” he growled. “Having a good time?”

“Yes,” she squeaked when he applied more pressure to her clit.

It was exciting, being outside with him, under a bright sun as he pleasured her. She couldn’t think straight when he pushed her panties to the side and slid two long rough fingers in her. He was still purring as he pumped the fingers in and out, not bothering with slow and easy. He brought to her climax faster and harder then she had expected.

It shot through her like a lightening strike, making her shake.

“Riley, you are fucking beautiful,” he growled as she rippled around his fingers. When he pulled them out, she watched him suck off her juices. “And you are fucking delicious.” The hoarseness to his normal velvet voice made her shiver.

“What about you?” She finally whispered to him, feeling his cock pressed again her thigh.

“What about me?” He chuckled, holding her close. “It can wait.”

“It’s not fair to you though,” she rose over him and he shrugged.

“Want to help me?”

She nodded and undid his jeans. He helped her push the jeans down a bit, along with his boxer briefs. She stared at his erection for a long time. He seemed as thick as Zachary. Holy shit.

He took her hand and showed her how he liked it. He liked a tight hold and fast pumps. She obliged, watching his face as she jacked him off. She watched his back arched a little as he pulled his shirts up to expose his delicious abs. She licked them and then decided to give him the same gift that Gabe got.

She took his head in her mouth and sucked gently.

“Fuck, darling, please,” he snarled in desperation. “I’m so fucking close.”

She wanted him the same way she wanted Gabe, all of him. She wanted all of them that way. She didn’t stop, licking his sensitive cock and sucking on him as she stroked him.

“Riley!” He snarled and then moaned as he came into her mouth. He had a lot more volume then Gabe and she barely was able to handle it.

She panted when it was done and so did he. He pulled her close and kissed her, not giving a damn that she had just sucked him dry.

“Darling,” he groaned. “Why?”

“Because I wanted too,” she whispered in his ear.

“Well, shit, anytime you want to do that, just give me a call. I’ll be there,” he growled. “We should clean up and get back home. I hope you’ve had enough orgasms for the day.”

She laughed and sat back up.

“A girl can never have too many orgasms, Andrew.” She wagged a finger at him, making him laugh with her.

“True,” he put himself away and fixed his clothing. She buttoned up her own jeans and they cleaned up slowly. It had been a couple hours at this point, the sun was going to start dipping down. Neither of them wanted to be out here in the cold, though Riley knew they could have found a way to stay warm.

They were quiet on the drive home, sharing a few smiles. She would never forget that little grove and the guys were doing a fantastic job keeping her mind off what happened.

When the pulled in, they waved at Troy and Gabe, who were working on a bike together. Neither said anything, only waved back, concentrated on their work. She liked seeing them that way, it was rare. They didn’t seem upset that she left with Andrew after the fun in the pool house.

He dropped everything in the kitchen and then dragged her upstairs. When they didn’t stop at her door, she was a little confused. He pulled her into a room and she quickly realized it was it. It had a nice country theme to it, with rough wood furniture and soft warm colors. He closed the door and then pull her in for another kiss.

“I wasn’t ready to hand you over to the masses,” he growled, diving to nibble on her neck. He lifted her and carried her to the bed. She moaned he pressed down her, biting her shoulder as he rubbed against her. He was hard again and she gripped his shoulders.

Fucking hell, Brenton had been right, she definitely underestimated Andrew. She realized that as he dry humped her, making her shake with need and moan in ecstasy.

It ended when someone knocked on the door. Andrew make a sound that was somewhere between snarl and sigh. Riley tried to fix herself as he went to get his door.

It was Zachary.

“The diner called the mansion for you, said you didn’t answer your cellphone,” he handed Andrew a note, who cursed when he read it.

“Yeah, I silenced it before we went out. Shit, I need to deal with this.” Andrew was pretty pissed by the note,

“What happened?” Riley walked over from the bed, concerned and trying not to stumble on her wobbly legs.

“A prank, someone set the dumpster on fire at the diner after I left. Sheriff is already there,” he bent and kissed her. “Sorry for cutting this short.”

“It’s fine,” she smiled and patted his butt to be sassy. It made him laugh, shaking his head as he got ready. “You’ve got work.”

He was gone in seconds, leaving her with Zachary, who was grinning down at her.

“Busy day?” He growled playfully.

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” She chuckled. He and Brenton were both so cocky. They looked at her like starving men about to feast and it made her hot that they were arrogant. Arrogant men were not supposed to be attractive but there they were.

“Well, tomorrow it’s just me and Brenton. We’ve got some errands to run with you so…” He leaned down and pulled her close. “I hope you’re ready.”

She felt that stupid skipped heart beat. He was smirked dangerously, a look so full of promise that she wanted to melt. Or hide. To be honest, Zachary and Brenton intimidated the shit out of her.

“Yeah, sure,” she exuded fake confidence, shrugging and walking past him as he chuckled.

“Liar,” he growled softly, a hand roaming to her ass and giving it a squeeze. She jumped at the touch and turned to glare at him.

“Excuse you!” She put her hands on her hips and backed away a few more feet. Finally, she just shook her head and stomped away, louder then she was really feeling, just for effect.

The truth was, she was more comfortable now with them then she was before they told her what they wanted. She was enjoying this dance and felt more comfortable then she did the entire three weeks before the shift. She liked to feel feminine with them and wanted. She hoped it lasted.
