AVA

I still can’t believe I did that.

I’ve never been okay with taking directions from a man in bed. But for some reason, I want to do exactly what he tells me. I think it might be the age difference. He looks like he’s old enough to be my father, and as soon as that thought enters my mind I scramble to shove it away. But there’s something sexy about being with an older man. Something that makes me willing to take direction, even obey orders, if it means he can show me everything I’ve been missing out on in the years I’ve been dating boys instead of men.

After he’d had his way with me on the bike, he’d invited me for drinks. I’d been too dazed—messed up and still vibrating with the hum of the bike running through my body, from my clit to my brain–to remember that I had a shift at Fever. I’d considered calling in sick until I realized how foolish that would be. Instead, I’d sent Christopher an email from home to cancel, shoved my disappointment down with my pride and gotten ready for work.

I still can’t believe I did that. Let a man have me fuck his bike in the alley behind the courthouse–right next to my workplace. I’ve never, in my life, thought I could do something so unprofessional. I considered I was better than that, but within ten minutes of him kissing me I was bending over without a second thought.

I called Emma and Kayley right after and we’d talked it out.

Kayley congratulated me on getting out of my comfort zone. Emma just wanted to know how big he was and was immensely disappointed to find out I never saw it. After a few minutes of teasing, they got serious.

“But for real, Ava… did you enjoy it?”

“Yes,” I replied without hesitation, parked in the parking lot of Page & Sons, still vibrating from my orgasm. “Very much.”

“So there’s nothing wrong with it,” Kayley said dismissively. “You shouldn’t be ashamed of your sexuality.”

“I might be when I go to jail for public indecency.”

“Well, if you do, you know a good lawyer.”

“You’re fine, Ava,” Emma said soothingly. I could hear a soft scraping from her end of the phone–she must have been shaving her legs or something while we were talking. “This is normal for people who don’t get frisky in public very often. If this is how attracted you are to this man, then you should embrace it. You babysit all of us every night, have some fucking fun for once!”

I thanked them both and hung up. My whole body was still shivering with what had happened to me, and I had a feeling my pussy would be sensitive for the rest of the day.

Sighing, I pushed myself out of my car, straightened my ruined pantyhose so the hole wasn’t visible, and walked into Page & Sons to finish my day job.

Working through the day was hell, because half the time I was distracted by the physical sensations still coursing through my body, and the other half I was thinking about what Christopher could possibly do to top this next time. Will he take me in his office? In the courtroom? I would probably draw the line at fucking in a courthouse, but the idea of it turns me on like nothing else. It excited me so much that I had to go to the bathroom and splash cold water on my face to keep myself from getting too distracted while I was at work.

That evening, at Fever, I wasn’t even surprised to see Christopher come in. He looked completely edible in a finely tailored business suit and tie, with nothing but a slight rumpling in his hairline to indicate he’d been riding earlier. Thoughts of his bike brought back memories of this morning, and I felt my cheeks flush as I rushed over to him.

“You can’t keep coming into my work,” I tell him, walking briskly over to him and trying to steer him away from the room.

“I’m not here for you,” he says, pulling his hand out of my grip and leaving me grasping at nothing. “I came for a drink.”

“But I–you…”

And with that he walked around me toward the bar.

I felt as though a bucket of ice had been thrown on me. He’d barely even looked at me. Had I done something wrong? Had I…

No. I shook my head. I won’t let those kinds of thoughts in, they don’t help anyone. I quickly remembered back to the morning we spent together. I’d followed his instructions, done everything he’d asked. He’d called me ‘Little Rose’ which was a nickname I wouldn’t have thought I’d like until I heard it pass his lips. So that’s not the problem.

Was it because I refused to consider switching over to Benson & Cole? I wouldn’t have thought he’d be the kind of guy who would get that petty over a turned down job offer. But then, I think, this man probably isn’t used to being turned down in any capacity.

Maybe he’s just annoyed with me over that? Or maybe he’s angry at me for canceling our drinks.

Well, fine, I force myself to think as I head back to the foyer to greet customers, sending a nod to Kayley working the pole near the door. I’ve got a job to do. One I like. I have the memory of this morning, so even if it never happens again it will still be the most exciting sex of my life. If Christopher is going to take this thing between us childish, then I don’t need to be a part of it.

No matter how much I wish I could have a repeat our time together.
